How Flare really works.

Recommended Posts

It doesn't just negate RES, it also recovers HP, making it the Magic Equivalent of Aether.

This is common knowledge in RD, but it is overlooked in the PoR Skill description.

I have a PoR play-through and two Flare Sages so it wouldn't be to hard for me to get proof.

Hmm, I'm really doubting this since I'm certain somebody would have noticed by now. Perhaps you were using Nosferatu and forgot about it?

In any case, anybody else want to give it a try? I'm lazy to get my GC out ^^;;;

Could be worse. You could be waiting on a 2% activation rate, running 10 out of 60 fps and you don't even know if it'll even work ^^;;;

But yeah, that would be appreciated.

Interested by the topic (and I'm replaying PoR anyway), so I gave Flare to Soren and tested to see if it worked, and unless there's some specific trick to HP Drain (Like Nosferatu), No HP Drain of any kind occured for me.

So Adam, I think we can consider this myth busted.

Y'all can not waste your occults now and use them all for Sol [Only mastery worth a damn in PoR besides Aether]
