After SpikeyTiger, I think the hardest boss for me was one of the gel ones (either in mana fort or shadow sprite cave) b/c when it is really big you generally can't hit it with physical attacks. I thought the hardest dungeon was the forest before the witch's castle, too! Cuz I was stupid and new to the game and kept getting moogle'd by those periscope enemies.
