I just hate it when things go wrong early like that. Messes up plans and all that jazz. Also, you'll have to beat the game once on Normal mode to unlock Hard mode. No, not just saying this because of difficulty. In the Japanese version, there was no easy mode. NoA translated the normal, hard, and insane as such.
