Snowy_One
I find it ironic that people are saying Esphyr should have been a troubadour if she wanted to heal considering her backstory. Anyways, as I said, I didn't intend to be put into a situation where Esphyr would be healing again. I also didn't intend for a roof to be dropped on Damian. -Cynthia-
I'm pretty sure the point is that she failed out, and thus does not have the abilities one would gain from such training (notably staff usage). Character wants and character abilities are entirely different. I bet Irina would like the ability to use healing staves if a roof dropped on Isotov, but it's just not going to happen. This reminds me of the time Helios tried to say he was an assassin and was an expert knife fighter and such. Yeah, part of the backstory I guess, but that doesn't make it right. Sticking to your class is really not that difficult, and using abilities of other classes comes off as Sueish.

Snowy_One
She kind of killed the project via her weapon. Before she got it though, she preferred playing the healer. In fact, she's even said outright that she probably would have been a troubadour (TISME style) if she hadn't gotten her weapon. Either way, it's pointless. I'm NOT intending to have her go around healing, and as I recall, when she did heal she didn't come out of it too well. The only reason she's doing it now is because it's Damian being mangled by a roof.

Edit: I would post with Esphyr, but there isn't much for her to do besides angst ATM. Edited August 7, 2010 by Snowy_One
Phoenix
Some issues: Conrad: Is surprisingly level headed, but seems to lone wolf it way too much for a general fortunate enough to have two of his own soldiers along. On general principle, high ranking officers don't typically wander around aimlessly and without escorts I might add. Helios: A Brooklyn accent? Kai you have no idea how much I want to drop a castle on Helios right now. Also, I'm confused. Is your goal to develop character, or to screw around with him? Alferis: Why is he emoing over how Esphyr might react to Damian's condition? Isn't that a bit ... I don't know ... too much? Are Alfo and Esphfit really that close? Dark Sage
He's just worried about her is all. He's worrying about Aiya too. Plus he hit it off with Esphyr a lot. Remember, he never really had any friends or people who cared about him before, so he's sticking to her pretty tightly.

He tends to comfort a lot for someone so troubled. *remembers episode Irina*

Dark Sage
Gonna go to a comic book meetup group in a few hours. Anyone not named Kai or Psych can handle Alf if Bal comes back and I'm gone. Phoenix
He's sort of supposed to be a brooding person. Meh. AMENDMENT: He's just not acting like any realistic general would. At this rate he's going to turn into a less annoying version of Chase(only existing for a single purpose and nothing else). For instance, he never interacts with anyone but Morgan() or Damian(some politics discussion? can't remember). He and Viv really should be talking on a more regular basis, but he just slips out and drifts from area to area until he's needed. It comes across as uber ooc for a gen. EDIT: Going to lie down for a bit ... Edited August 7, 2010 by Phoenix
Dark Sage
Sure is slow. And yeah Rein, I don't think you do enough with Conrad. It's like all this fanfare for him...and then nothing. Dude, remember. Focus on your characters having personalities instead of on your ChasexMorgan obsession.
