I just realized that Morgan is a palette swap from FE6. Call me retarded but I don't look at FE6 sprites often and have never played the game once.

Meh ... the more you know ....

I really don't have the apriting skills for anything other than recolors.

@Cynthia, You probably would, since it's doesn't seem like Morgans character to raise her voice, however Chase and Helios (and their respective owners) aren't likely to be that detailed.

I have to assume a change in volume when things happen, as if someone was to say something during a battle, I wouldn't be able to hear them if there's steel clanging around me. Hence I assume they shouted.

"Perhaps the whole village"

Keep in mind that the village isn't exactly big.

And it was more an indicator of how quiet it was,

"Kamilla could hear arguing from upstairs, she was sure the entire inn could hear them, perhaps even the whole village"

This clearly indicates that it is Kamilla's thoughts, if I were to post "The neighbour yelled shut the hell up!" then it would be the entire village hearing.

If this isn't you implying things I didn't write, then I don't know how assuming shouting is so out of the question.

In an argument, especially an uncivilized accusation based one like this people try to speak over eachother, can you imagine, Helios waiting patiently and letting Cynthia/Chase finish what they're saying without interjecting?

Edit: As I said in my post, it's loud, but not loud enough for Kamilla to make out the words they're saying, meaning it probably isn't loud enough for the village to hear.

No, you god-modded. Chase is almost 99% more likely to be better than Helios with using knifes because he uses them as one of his primary weapons. Unless Helios turns out to be a highly-trained knife specialist.

... this quote makes Phoenix sad ;_;

Also ... all this "My character knows to do this and such" coming out of the blue is starting to bug the sh*t crap out of me.

For NPC characters sure, but for stat characters it's annoying as hell 2523.gif

When I rebooted to Linux to do work earlier today, I noticed something funny about Tessa's most recent post. The font didn't work at all. This is what it looked like on my Windows partition.

My apologies if it looked as ugly to some of you as it did while I was in Linux. I was actually rather fond of that font, and considered continuing to use it.

I have less of a problem with your intepretation now than when the argument first began, so I can definitely see your point. I just don't want all disagreements to be automatically assumed at maximum volume (for example, this one probably started rather quietly).

I found Helios' manuever with the knife pretty ridiculous personally, although sometimes I think Chase gets in knife range a little too easily (probably acceptable in this case though).

Okay, I'll admit the range part but the maneuver is the most insane move there is, since not only is Helios a wind mage, but he also is very good at horse riding, has a seemingly limitless amount of gold, and has epic knife skills? What the fuck?

In other words, you'd think this would be in Helios' bio, or in your profile, or at least aforementioned.

1: No he doesnt

2: He's a fucking Noble

3: He was an assasain during a point of time. Lets say his tome wasnt handed to him like most of you

And Ether Helios was rather calm. He explained his motive clearly. That wasnt necessary

When you pulled the knife away from him and pointed it at his throat,it was clearly time to disarm you.Had Chase still been the one holding the knife,I would have told him to put it away as well.Once someone has attacked, like Helios had, talking isn't the first thing you do,you neutralize the target.

Lightning's right about the knife skills. BUT ... let's just shelf this knife business for now though. While we all need to let our characters fall into more vulnerable positions, myself included -_- random events like these shouldn't be used to make our characters come out being all badass and untouchable. That's part of the reason I had Iso overreact, punch Irina in the stomach, and why he dropped Morgan. That situation makes Iso less badassish and more vulnerable in a sense.

And what's with the knives anyway, people?

Chase is the only one in the party atm who owns one, but it appears Helios is a super-badass who can use one if he caught one like that.

Okay,so I read it incorrectly. However,he still took the knife from Chase, and was clearly irritated, and had just hit him, afterall.Obviously the first thought is that you're gonna "Cut you so bad you gonna wish I di'nt cut you so bad"

Either way,it ends the knife business.

The horse riding makes sense due to being a noble. The gold does as well to an extent although princes of fallen nations often do not have that kind of resources due to either having to flee quickly and not being able to take their money with them.

Helios being an expert assassin in addition to a mage and a noble does sort of have an instant badass feel to it, which are frowned upon by Snowy. I personally would suggest a tone down (if Helios was an assassin he probably used magic to do it, not epic martial arts skills). Characters shouldn't be entirely limited by class, but at the same time there should be limitations to character powers.

It was in his past. I dont think he could let it go. Anyways it wasnt an attempt at god modding.

The message was: Rein stop fucking swinging your little knife around.

Helios was irritated but wasnt raising his voice

And Kelas.

@ Cynthia

Finally you said that <_<

I'll swing the knife around if I feel like it. At least it's in character, whereas Helios being able to disarm Chase of a knife when Chase is better at using a knife isn't.
