Silith
Allright here is my second attempt at a “calculate” your own Constitution statistic. The first tone while nice was kind of a failure thanks to the fact that overweight people would get an overkill constitution. In this new version your constitution will go down when you weigh too much. Constitution is measured by 3 different things. Length, Physical strength and fat %. Since it's hard to measure physical strength I just fused the latter 2 into a single thing called Weight (something easy to measure). Of course Gender and Age are also affected so they will be included in the list. This time around it's more of a look up list then an actual calculation. Makes it so that I have to do a lot more work but you have to do less. Also gives a slight idea how people on the boards look like (kinda) Your stat can NOT become lower then 1 but I doubt anyone will ever reach that low! AGE First off is the age if your age group isn't mentioned you can assume it's +0. Males 0-5 Years old = -5 6-8 Years old = -4 9-11 Years old = -3 12-14 Years old = -2 15-17 Years old = -1 18-49 years old = +0 50-65 years old = -1 66-75 years old = -2 76+ = -3 Females 0-5 Years old = -5 6-8 Years old = -4 9-10 Years old = -3 11-13 Years old = -2 14-15 Years old = -1 16-49 years old = +0 50-65 years old = -1 66-75 years old = -2 76+ = -3 If neccecairy subtract these numbers off the total you'll get in the H/W part. Height/Weight Measure your body length and weight and look up your position in the list. Males Height: 5,2 Weight: 87-97 = +0 98-109 = +1 109-119 = +2 120-130 = +3 131-141 = +4 142-157 = +3 158-173 = +2 174-189 = +1 190+ = +0 Height: 5,3 Weight: 89-99 = +0 100-111 = +1 111-121 = +2 122-132 = +3 133-143 = +4 144-159 = +3 160-175 = +2 176-191 = +1 192+ = +0 Height: 5,4 Weight 90 or below = +0 91-101 = +1 102-112 = +2 113-123 = +3 124-134 = +4 135-145 = +5 145-162 = +4 163-177 = +3 178-193 = +2 194-200 = +1 201+ = +0 Height: 5,5 Weight 92 or below = +1 93-103 = +2 104-114 = +3 115-125 = +4 126-136 = +5 137-147 = +6 147-164 = +5 165-179 = +4 180-195 = +3 196-202 = +2 203+ = +1 Height: 5,6 Weight 94 or below = +2 95-105 = +3 106-116 = +4 117-127 = +5 128-138 = +6 139-150 = +7 151-167 = +6 168-182 = +5 183-198 = +4 199-205 = +3 206+ = +2 Height: 5,7 Weight 97 or below = +3 98-108 = +4 109-119 = +5 120-131 = +6 131-141 = +7 142-153 = +8 154-170 = +7 171-185 = +6 186-201 = +5 202-208 = +4 209+ = +3 Height: 5,8 Weight 100 or below = +4 101-111 = +5 112-122 = +6 123-133 = +7 134-144 = +8 145-156 = +9 157-173 = +8 174-188 = +7 189-204 = +6 205-211 = +5 212+ = +4 Height: 5,9 Weight 103 or below = +5 104-114 = +6 115-125 = +7 126-136 = +8 137-147 = +9 148-159 = +10 160-176 = +9 177-191 = +8 192-207 = +7 208-214 = +6 215+ = +5 Height: 5,10 Weight 106 or below = +6 107-117 = +7 118-128 = +8 129-139 = +9 140-150 = +10 151-162 = +11 163-179 = +10 180-194 = +9 195-210 = +8 211-215 = +7 216+ = +6 Height: 5,11 Weight 109 or below = +7 110-120 = +8 121-131 = +9 132-142 = +10 143-153 = +11 154-165 = +12 166-182 = +11 183-197 = +10 198-213 = +9 214-229= +8 230+ = +7 Height: 6,0 Weight 112 or below = +8 113-123 = +9 124-134 = +10 135-145 = +11 146-156 = +12 157-168 = +13 169-185 = +12 186-200 = +11 201-216 = +10 217-232= +9 233+ = +8 Height: 6,1 Weight 115 or below = +9 116-126 = +10 127-137 = +11 138-148 = +12 149-159 = +13 160-172 = +14 173-189 = +13 190-204 = +12 205-220 = +11 221-236= +10 237+ = +9 Height: 6,2 Weight 118 or below = +10 119-129 = +11 130-140 = +12 141-151 = +13 152-162 = +14 163-176 = +15 177-193 = +14 194-208 = +13 209-224 = +12 225-240= +11 241+ = +10 Height: 6,3 Weight 121 or below = +11 122-132 = +12 133-143 = +13 144-154 = +14 155-165 = +15 165-180 = +16 181-197 = +15 198-212 = +14 213-228 = +13 229-244= +12 245+ = +11 Height: 6,4 Weight 125 or below = +12 126-136 = +13 137-147 = +14 148-158 = +15 159-169 = +16 170-184 = +17 185-201 = +16 202-216 = +15 217-232= +14 233-248= +13 249+ = +12 Woman Height: 4,10 Weight 75 and below = +0 76-86 = +0 87-97 = +1 98-108 = +2 109-121 = +3 122 – 137 = +2 138 – 153 = +1 154 – 169 = +0 170+ = +0 Height: 4,11 Weight 77 and below = +0 78-88 = +0 89-99 = +1 100-110 = +2 111-122 = +3 123 – 139 = +2 140 – 155 = +1 156 – 171 = +0 172+ = +0 Height: 5,0 Weight 79 and below = +0 80-90 = +1 91-101 = +2 102-112 = +3 113-125 = +4 126 – 142 = +3 143 – 158 = +2 159 – 174 = +1 175+ = +0 Height: 5,1 Weight 81 and below = +1 82-92 = +2 93-103 = +3 104-114 = +4 115-128 = +5 129 – 145 = +4 146 – 161 = +3 162 – 177 = +2 178+ = +1 Height: 5,2 Weight 84 and below = +1 85-95 = +2 96-106 = +3 107-117 = +4 118-131 = +5 132 – 148 = +4 149 – 164 = +3 165 – 180 = +2 181+ = +1 Height: 5,3 Weight 87 and below = +2 88 – 98 = +3 99 – 109 = +4 110 – 122 = +5 121 – 134 = +6 135 – 151 = +5 152 – 167 = +4 168 – 183 = +3 184+ = +2 Height: 5,4 Weight 90 and below = +3 91 – 101 = +4 102 – 112 = +5 113 – 123 = +6 124 – 137 = +7 138 – 154 = +6 155 – 170 = +5 171 – 186 = +4 187+ = +3 Height: 5,5 Weight 93 and below = +3 94 – 104 = +4 105 – 115 = +5 116 – 126 = +6 127 – 140 = +7 141 – 157 = +6 158 – 173 = +5 174 – 189 = +4 190+ = +3 Height: 5,6 Weight 96 and below = +4 97 – 107 = +5 108 – 118 = +6 119 – 129 = +7 130 – 143 = +8 144 – 160 = +7 161 – 176 = +6 177 – 192 = +5 193+ = +4 Height: 5,7 Weight 99 and below = +5 100 – 110 = +6 111 – 121 = +7 122 – 132 = +8 133 – 146 = +9 147 – 163 = +8 164 – 179 = +7 180 – 195 = +6 196+ = +5 Height: 5,8 Weight 102 and below = +5 103 – 113 = +6 114 – 124 = +7 125 – 135 = +8 136 – 149 = +9 150 – 166 = +8 167 – 181 = +7 183 – 198 = +6 199+ = +5 Height: 5,9 Weight 102 and below = +5 103 – 113 = +6 114 – 124 = +7 125 – 135 = +8 136 – 149 = +9 150 – 166 = +8 167 – 181 = +7 183 – 198 = +6 199+ = +5 Height: 5,10 Weight 105 and below = +6 106 – 116 = +7 117 – 127 = +8 128 – 138 = +9 139 – 152 = +10 153 – 169 = +9 170 – 184 = +8 186 – 201 = +7 202+ = +6 Height: 5,11 Weight 108 and below = +7 109 – 119 = +8 120 – 130 = +9 131 – 141 = +10 142 – 155 = +11 156 – 172 = +10 173 – 187 = +9 189 – 204 = +8 205+ = +7 Height: 6,0 Weight 111 and below = +7 112 – 122 = +8 123 – 133 = +9 134 – 144 = +10 145 – 158 = +11 159 – 175 = +10 176 – 190 = +9 192 – 207 = +8 208+ = +7 These are the most common lengths and weights for people. If your height isn't given here or if your weight is waaaaay out of the charts state them for me and I will calculate it seperately. I myself are one of these exceptions. Examples: 1 You are a healthy 18 year old boy 6,0 tall and 154 pounds heavy. Your age means you get +0. Looking at Male 6,0 you are in the category 146 – 156 meaning you get +12 Your total is 12 Constitution. 2 You are a 14 year old basement dweller boy who likes to QQ and troll on forums. You are 5,2 tall and 180 heavy. Your age gives you -2 Looking at Male 5,2 you are int he category 174 – 189 earnign you +1. Together this is -1 but since the rule is you can't go below 1. Your total constitution is 1. 3 You are Kim also known as Silith on the forums. You are 20 years old. 6,4 tall and weigh 173. You are off the charts so I have to calculate you seperately. But since you are me I have already done that. My Age gives me +0 My H/W gives me a whopping 14 constitution. My total constituation is 14. Momo
It must have taken an extreme case of boredom to do all this. Looking at the list, I've got a con of either 3 or 4 (not sure of my exact height and I'm too lazy to check). lol, I'd be the worst axe user in history. Fayt Zelpher
You know, I am 5'11 and weigh 240 pounds. I think my constitution is higher than 6... Trust me on that...
Ether
17 years old,6 Ft, and around 180 lbs. 11 con,but 12 in October because of some sort of magic? Edited April 25, 2010 by Ether

riariadne
I'm around 5'2" and 100 pounds at 14... which would put me at -1. I'm seeing a problem here.
Silith
This list wasn't really ment for people who are still growing. At 14 you should be in the middle of your growth spurt so don't worry about it. I made the rules so that you can't get anything below 1 so you get 2 points free. Boys grow till 18 and girls till 16. For those that are 17 maybe the magic will increase your points by 2 if you grow. Edited April 25, 2010 by Silith

I don't think I have a low constitution because I have a very large build. In fact, just the opposite would be largely true...
Silith
Overweight should lower your constitution. Con is not only your build but also the efficiency it gives you to move (even when carrying weight) Maybe the numbers do down too quickly but changing it all would mean a long time of work. Well at least as long as it took to make this. (and right now my 14 Con shines above all you smaller people)

Junkhead
I am 15 years old, 5' 9" and weigh around 120 lbs. So my Con would be around 5, right? What's strange is that after the GBA FEs, Con actually gets higher, a character like Ike would have in around 7-8 Con in the GBA FEs, and say Zihark, his Con is actually pretty high (10-11), but that's because Mtrmidons in common have 10 Con. =/
Integrity
8, maybe. I already forgot mostly. 18, male, 5'11", ~125 pounds. Fair enough, I guess, except I'm still convinced CON is indicative of nothing.

But at the same time, for someone who's 5'11 like me, 180 pounds is considered to be 'healthy' even by the biased BMI standard. And you still don't do anything to address the fact that 200 pounds on a male 5'11" frame may be incredibly overweight for one person (high fat%) and muscular on another. As in, given my really thick frame, I literally cannot weigh less than 175 or so healthily before I start starving myself because I have a lot of muscle and bone mass. But by this scale, I would basically be overweight. (I am of course, but that's because I've put on some weight over the past 3 years since I weighed 180...) Junkhead
I still feel these are pretty inacurate, sorry. Being somewhat overweight actually do gives some more Con.
Rewjeo
I'm at 0... Also, if you go by the 9-11 CON system, being overweight WOULD increase it, since it no longer affects ability to lift weapons.

Also, if you go by the 9-11 CON system, being overweight WOULD increase it, since it no longer affects ability to lift weapons. And being overweight shouldn't affect it downward in the early games either. It's a lot easier for me to pick up a fifteen pound sword with little speed loss than for someone like Soul to do the same. After all, 15 pounds on a 240 pound frame is a lot less than 15 pounds on a 130 pound frame.
Intoner Two
I've 12 con according to this system; which since I normally give myself 10(unpromoted)/11(promoted) con in my games, based strictly on body mass, I quite agree XD

Nightmare
19 years old, 6'2'', 158...I have 14 con. Highest so far? The weight system seems to be a bit inaccurate since someone of my height would easily go above 200 with proper training, due to an increase in muscle size, and that would only increase con. My point is that, it's a healthy increase in weight, as opposed to being plain overweight. Maybe fat and muscle should be separate?
