He then promotes and buys the Silver Lance in the item shop. He then runs the arena without trying and sells his Hero Lance, Speed Ring and Shield Ring. To pass something down to Delmud, he's going to have to kill Shagaal at Silvail. - Cuan buys the Hero Lance and Speed Ring and skewers most of the arena until the GreatKnt (7). After getting a lucky RNG streak, he finishes the arena and sells the Return Ring, Speed Ring and Hero Lance. I'm sending Cuan's Silver Lance down to Altenna since Ethlin's kids have reverse inheritance. In return, Leaf will get the Return Ring so that he's not exactly useless as soon as Chapter 7 starts. - Ethlin makes it past the first two rounds and stops at the Swdfghtr (3). She repairs her stuff and does nothing else, mostly because Cuan will be giving her money at the end of the chapter for her to buy the Return Ring and sell her staves (Leaf can't use staves...). - Levin gets stumped at the DkMage (5) with not enough money to buy the Pursuit Ring. Shit. - Lachesis sells the Knight Ring and does nothing else. - Dew can't even beat the SoclKnt (1). He sells the Armour Cutter and then gives a lot of his money to Lachesis. - Lachesis buys the Elite Ring and then gets stumped at the Swdfghtr. She does gain 2 horrible levels too (1 stat up in each level). - Silvia's about 20k short of the Knight Ring. Looks like Dew's giving her some money too. - Deirdre somehow wins the first three fights in the arena but stops at the Armour (4). She sells all of her stuff but doesn't give any money to Sigurd (the more money on her and Sigurd combined, the more money that Celice and Julia have). - Lex sells the Horse Slayer but can't beat the Swdfghtr thanks to his shitty Hit. - Azel somehow makes it to the Swdfghtr and predictedly loses there. The guy sucks. - Fury buys the Horse Slayer and Hero Lance. She then clears the first 5 rounds before stopping at the DukeKnt (6). - Noish buys the Armour Cutter and beats the first three rounds before losing. - Alec wins a couple rounds in the arena, buys the Shield Ring to pad his horrible Def and then loses epicly to the DkMage. - Beowulf grabs the Speed Ring but can't get past the Armour and doesn't have enough money for the Cutter. - Jamka buys the Silver Bow but can't beat the BowKnt and clear the arena. He then sells the Killer Bow. - Midir buys the Killer Bow and easily beats the first four rounds before getting OHKO'd by the DkMage. - Ardan somehow makes it to the Swdfghtr before losing. - Holyn with a Silver Sword and Ayra both can't beat the DukeKnt. If Ayra and Levin can't run the arena, you know it's hard. - Sigurd can't dodge the DkMage and stops there. Ouch. Madino -> Silvail (10) - Beowulf grabbing the +3 Str village. - Levin buying the Pursuit Ring and still losing the DkMage in the arena. - Picking off all but 3 Cross Knights on the same turn and getting the Earth Sword from Eltashan. - Easily destroying Papilion and his Dragon Knights with refreshed archers and Lachesis' Earth Sword. - Levin, Cuan and Fin killing Shagaal so that Fin can send down the Silver Blade on the same turn that Papilion's troops were shot down. Silvail -> Orgahill (18) - Sighing because I want the Wind Sword but I hate the long trek towards Blagi Tower. - Cuan saving the +1 Def village simply because I forgot that it gave out a bonus. - Beowulf hopping back into the arena and clearing another 2 rounds. - Tiltyu defending Claude and his "dirty ol' stick". - Ayra and Holyn working together to take out Pizarl quite easily. - Cuan getting the Gae Bolg and getting ready to clean up shop. - Aideen leveling up quickly thanks to Libro and Warp. - Beowulf and Alec easily taking out Dobarl on turn 29. - Aideen promoting to High Priest and Brigid running the arena quickly before receiving the Ichival from Aideen. - Finishing up the Aideen/Midir, Fin/Lachesis and Noish/Ayra pairings right before the end of the chapter. - Getting the Wind Sword for Dew on Turn 36, making it to Madino with Ethlin to sell the Return Staff two turns later and finally finishing the chapter on Turn 38. Life Posted September 22, 2010 Author Share Posted September 22, 2010 Chapter 4: Preparations: - Lachesis makes me laugh. Round 2 is against a Paladin and he 3HKOs her. The thing is that 2 hits knocks her down to 6 HP (+50 Evd with the Prayer Sword). She 8RKOs him but it takes her 15 attacks to kill the Paladin... and he can't land 3. The FrstKnt (3) beats her though. She then sells off her Prayer Sword to lend out to another sword user but ends up buying it back. She also sells the Life Ring. - Fury uses both the Hero Lance and Thunder Sword to get her to the Baron (7) who perfectly 2HKOs her. AKA the Prayer Sword is worthless there. - Sylvia and Ardan can't even beat the WindMage (1). Ouch. - Ayra also has problems on the Baron (everything before him dies a horrible death) but after grabbing her husband's Cutter, beats him easily. She then sell the Cutter and the Hero Sword. - Brigid runs the arena with only her trusted Steel Bow in hand. Thank god that the Arena doesn't count kills since it saves her a lot of money. - Jamka steals the Killer Bow from Midir and clears the arena with ease. - Midir buys the Killer Bow back but can't beat the FrstKnt. - Aideen finally gets her shot at the arena! She buys the Wind from the shop and manages to get to the PegKnt (4) before stopping. She then sells the Wind and buys Azel's Fire. - Claude buys the Wind and beats the first two rounds before stopping. - Dew and Azel can only beat the WindMage. Pretty pathetic. - Holyn beats the first four rounds of the arena with his Silver Sword and then buys the Hero Sword to finish off the rest of the arena. He then sells it and promotes to Forrest. - Beowulf buys the Hero Sword and proceeds to shitstomp six out of the seven rounds in the arena. That Hero Sword is one of the most broken weapons in this game. Afterwards, he also sells the sword. - Alec also grabs the Hero Sword and manages to clear the arena. Yes. Alec. The Hero Sword is pure h4x. Mind you, he was also holding the Shield and Power Rings. - Noish now takes the Hero Sword and snags Fury's Slayer. With them, he manages to get to the PegKnt before calling it quits. - Lex promotes after beating the WindMage and then destroys the next four rounds before getting stopped by the Warrior (6). - Tiltyu can only get past the WindMage since the Paladin survives a WrathTron. - Sigurd buys the Life Ring and the Cutter and runs the arena with ease. - Levin destroys the arena just like that. Sailine -> Thove (15): - Doing a couple more things in Sailine which ended up having Dew sit for a turn in Sailine so that Sylvia could afford the Leg Ring. - Enjoying my hacked Noish with the Hero Sword on him (he and Alec use it much better than Ayra or Holyn, sorry Lumi). - Barely saving villages thanks to those stupid forests and Fury needing to sit beside Claude to fall in love with him. - Wondering why I can't kill Deetva (she kept dodging about 10 shots in a row) and then seeing the Prayer Ring that she was holding. Fuck... - Levin killing off his uncle for a 15 turn clear. Thove -> Zaxon: - Watching the MahnSqd get absolutely massacred by the Beige Ritter (that was sad). I mean, they'd still lose to the PamSqd anyway but still, that's just not fair. - Warping/Returning half my army to Sailine and promoting Noish, Ayra and Lachesis. I've never promoted Noish or Alec before, mind you. - Levin and Tiltyu going to town on the guy sitting on Silesia with Levin grabbing Holsety right afterwards. - Lamia's army failing hopelessly against Lachesis, Sigurd, Levin, Titlyu and unpromoted Fury. Oh and Claude too. - Levin killing his OTHER uncle to finish the map (no clue how many turns). Chapter 5: Preparations: - A lot of arena stuff and promoting. My inheritance stuff is going to wait until after Phinora is captured. Suffice to say that a lot of people cleared the arena (Noish, Levin, Holyn, Beowulf, Ayra and Briggid). Unfortunately, Sigurd couldn't but just wait until he gets the Tyrfing. Galenforcer Posted October 4, 2010 Share Posted October 4, 2010 I usaually get ClaudexFury midway Chapter 4, because I send Fury up to him in Chapter 3 to help defend him. As for LevinxTiltyu and HolynxBriggid, usually get them to love each other up to Chapter 5. No extra turns were needed to get them that way. Eventually, I had her go east a turn so that my eastern horse units could knock out the first line of Lubeck's defense on Turn 2. - Barely having enough units to take out the entire Beige Ritter in a single turn. - Realizing that Levin and Tiltyu were on the left side of the map, leaving Cutter!Beowulf as the only person who could damage Langbalt significantly. - Taking Lubeck on Turn 9 after using Beowulf and Fury's Thunder Sword to kill the Swanchika owner. Lubeck -> Phinora (5): - Repairing the Tyrfing halfway and watching Sigurd rape the second half of the arena with it. - Luring the Sleep Priests with random units and then dancing Claude so that both of those units would wake up. - Midir ORKOing Vaha on Turn 14 and Sigurd seizing Phinora on the same turn. - Seeing Fury in love with Claude and letting out a sigh of relief. Phinora -> Velthomer (15): - Doing the inheritance stuff which includes moves like Elite Ring to Noish (Skasaha), Leg Ring to Sigurd, Hero Sword to Holyn (Patty), Wind Sword to Ayra (Lachke) and Killer Bow to Midir (Lester). Nothing else was of much note, though. - Having Fury fly around the desert, picking off the Meteo mages. Fuck, I hate those guys. - Returning Midir back to Zaxon just to promote him in order to boost Lester's and Rana's future stats. - Activating Reptor's suicide charge on Turn 25 and using Fury to perform hit-and-runs on Freege's army. - Enjoying Brigid's ORKO of Reptor with Ichival. - Ending Generation 1 by chatting to Ida on Turn 29. Pursuit, Awareness, Critical, Charge and Meteor Sword. Geez, that's just not fair... Skasaha also has the Elite Ring while Lakche is sporting the Skl Ring for 18 Skl at level 1. Looks like the Noish experiment has succeeded so far. - Celice's Silver Sword is at 50 kills the moment the chapter starts. Here come the criticals... - Since Fin killed Shagall, Delmud starts with the Silver Blade (I was missing that). He's also got Prayer and Pursuit, meaning that I'm eventually going to fry something with those skills. - Destroying the first army thanks to some conveniently timed Meteor Swords from both Lakche and Skasaha. - Lester ORKOing an Axe Armour that he would 5HKO thanks to Pursuit, Charge and the Hero Bow. - Lakche destroying Harold with Meteor Sword and the Cutter on Turn 11 with Celice seizing the next turn. Geneishire -> Isaac (12): - I take back what I said about Lakche and Skasaha being the awesome ones in the army. Arthur's already sporting Holsety along with Wrath, Continue and Critical (oh shit) while Fee has some cool weapons like the Hero Lance, Berserk Sword and Thunder Sword. - Enjoying watching Oifey, Delmud, Lakche and Skasaha take a trip to Dodge City while fighting off Johan's and Johalva's troops. Recruited Johalva too. - Arthur heading directly south over the mountain from Sophara to Rivough while the rest of the army heads for Isaac. - Fee using her Thunder Sword to pick off enemies left and right from a distance. - Murdering Dannan on Turn 23 with Arthur before Isaac is even captured. Celice snagged Isaac on the next turn. Isaac -> Rivough (5): - Chasing down Schmidt after he decided to play chicken before finishing him off with Arthur. - Capturing Rivough on Turn 29 after giving Julia Resire. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that the formula involves subtracting class bases from current stats, and since promotion gains are just promoted bases - initial bases that promotion has no effect on inheritance. ...Unless of course promoting allows for beating more levels in the arena and thus getting more stats that way. All you need to do is just pass down a Magic Ring and a Wind Sword and with Pursuit and Charge and Steal, Patty will kill things effectively from a distance. Life Posted October 5, 2010 Author Share Posted October 5, 2010 Chapter 7: Rivough -> Yied Shrine (12): - Pretty much everyone and their mothers cleared the arena, minus Celice, Lester and Delmud. - Leaf Returning himself to Rivough to fight in the arena while Nanna stands her ground with her father by Lenster. - Johalva ORKOing not 1 but 2 Dark Mages without taking damage (hi there Hero Axe!). - Nanna taking out all of the attacking bandits with the Earth and Prayer Swords. - Celice capturing Yied Shrine on Turn 12 after facing no enemies. Yied Shrine -> Melgen (9): - Patty making it past the first 3 rounds of the arena thanks to the Hero Sword (can't wait for Minor Odo to kick in for Moonlight Sword). - Having Melgen charge my army before Celice, Patty or Shanan can get back to help. - Skasaha and Lakche once again hitting Meteor Swords at the right moment to take out the Bow Archers. - Arthur in Wrath range doing some serious Holsety dodging against a pissed Ishtor with Storm. - Ishtor's 3 Leadership stars usually give me a serious headache but Arthur just laughs at them and criticals the poor fucker to death on Turn 20. Celice captures Melgen the turn afterwards. Melgen -> Darna (6): - Shanan, Aless and Oifey taking most of Darna's army apart with a bunch of others helping (Lakche, Patty, Lester, Fee...). - Luring the bitches west so that most of my horse units can get back in time to deal with the other mages. - Patty ORKOing a Swordfighter (Yeah, she has the Hero Sword and Moonlight Sword, she still ORKO'd a guy). - Fee and Lester working together on Vampa so that Arthur gets position on Fetra and Elui with Holsety. - Aless dodging Bramsel's Slayer and killing him on Turn 27 for Celice to seize. Darna -> Alster (6): - Celice finally finishing off the arena with some lucky dodges and criticals from the Silver Sword. - Aless clearing the Arena with only an Iron Lance in hand. Yeah, no Mistoltin needed. - Forget the Noish experiment, what about Lex!Leen? Continue, Prayer, Ambush, Elite... Geez, what the hell happened here? Especially Elite. - Tinny pulling off a perfect OHKO with Wrath on the mages that she turns on. - Holsety!Arthur vs. Blume... I don't think I need to say any more, do I? He deserves the chance to kill his uncle, mind you. All it takes is a single critical. - Celice capturing Alster on Turn 33 and me realizing that I could have had Nanna gain 5 extra Spd since Fin's her daddy. Damn... I never finished FE4, so I started a new playthrough awhile ago but life got in the way. I reccomend you give Lakche, Julia, Nanna and Patty more levels. Rana and Fee seem a little overleveled to me and the four I just suggested raising are great. Don't make the mistake I did when I leveled my dudes the first time. I never finished FE4, so I started a new playthrough awhile ago but life got in the way. I reccomend you give Lakche, Julia, Nanna and Patty more levels. Rana and Fee seem a little overleveled to me and the four I just suggested raising are great. Don't make the mistake I did when I leveled my dudes the first time. Only just got Patty and Nanna so they can get a break. But yeah, Lakche does need some more levels (she's still key with her amazing stats though). As for Fee and Rana, Fee's been using the Brave Lance for the past two chapters while Rana spammed Warp and Libro.
