These are class bases, so there's no reason their in-game stats should be any lower, and this isn't affected by difficulty. Plus, if it really is 26, that just makes EM even more laughable. Of course, I think that 31 is enough in endgame, since doubling Generals in 4-E-1 is imo the only thing that really makes much of a difference. Only really gets in the way with the dragon king that Pelleas should hide from anyway. Doesn't mean his other problems don't exist. How many turns do you take on 4-5 abusing the reinforcements in order to "train" Pelleas? However, now a 34 speed cap means you can double auras without Nasir, so there's still that. I don't take that long. Obviously "forever" is hyperbole or you'd still be there doing it now (and until you die, and somehow even after you die). The point is that if it takes a bunch of turns just to make a unit not suck, they are NOT better than a unit like Micaiah that is functional without that. And after all that favouritism, she still isn't that good. Micaiah only needs favoritism if you want to raise her to 20/20/20 and cap all of her stats. If you just use her as she's meant to be used (Don't really know how it works on EM compared to NM/HM, but it shouldn't be too much different) she doesn't require any favoritism. Pellease requires favoritism just to be anything resembling a good unit, and only for the easiest maps in the game. Seriously, how the hell can Pelleas be better than Micaiah on any mode? She has Thani which makes up for her lack of stats, you can combine sacrifice+wrath to enhance her combat ^_^ Unlike Pelleas she always has good hit and never needs a forge. Using units that don't need you to waste time or resources on them just to give you stuff that's inferior to what you get from Haar/Mia/Titania/Ike/Nolan/Jill/etc. When you play from that kind of mentality, Pelleas is going to suck and Micaiah can at least do stuff. The only playstyle in which Pelleas is actually even arguably superior is one in which you are willing to spend unnecessary time training units. Since Micaiah has late promotions she has problems in that type of playstyle. But dude, even Ike has problems with that. If you have all the GMs promoted and at 20/20/5+ by 3-4 (you can abuse in 3-4 if you want) Ike is going to look pretty bad. But that's only one playstyle and it's a terrible one for judging units since you might as well just compare caps at that point (for everyone that doesn't have a forced promotion).
