An A* here is worth 8 points, and an A is worth 7, so a 7.2 GPA is got by getting mostly As, with a few A*s (although in my case, it was more A*s than As with a C, but w/e.) Then I got my act together on the second half and made it to a 3.35 something... Yeah, I still have a bit more recovery to do. EDIT: I did get 2 A+, 3 A, and 2 B+, so I think that helped. Yeah, I still have a bit more recovery to do. Well, if your system is simply mine/2, then 3.35 is ~6.7, which is still very respectable.
