By which I mean, I'm going to post undisputable fact. And people can dispute it if necessary. Yes, it's like that. Now... Levity... that's an awesome mafia role. And yes, it really does affect things. Firstly, Life drops. His role is only valuable while Levity is around, and even then, I'm suspecting it's caused some modkills (nasty role). Reinfleche becomes better - suddenly, he could have some value. Enough to move out of Bottom... I think. Town Mayor is slightly less valuable. Mayor is valuable at endgame, and by then there's OC so it matters less. Levity herself... she's a vital role for the mafia. OC is a massive town tool. Considering that I think... I think I'm putting her in top. Top Levity (MAFIA NOC enforcer) High Kay (TOWN universal backup) Haze (MAFIA Tailor) Mid Life (TOWN OC specialist) Low General Spoon (TOWN Mayor) Reinfleche (TOWN miller governor) Bottom As an aside, some proof that I'm clear if you didn't catch it before. You'll recall that TWO people have cleared me, one of which being Obviam who, hey, died and turned up town, and the other being Raymond himself. Not that I don't trust Raymond (I'm 90% sure he's not bussing TWO scum) but yeah. Clears get information yo. I'm going to have to make another PM :< Can't i just invite you to Raymond's? Plus, what the hell was up with that number thing. Raymond has given us two mafia members, and while it's unlikely he's bussing them, I still think that's a possibility even if it's low. Tables Posted July 18, 2011 Share Posted July 18, 2011 Well, okay. Here's a simple fact: I'm pretty much as clear as Raymond 1) Obviam stated, in no uncertain terms, I'm clear. He did this because, it was my role ability. I choose a person, they get told I'm town. Not knowing this would become an OC game I decided I'd try and draw some mafia fire, spicing up the implication of what I could do, since clearing myself in NOC is pretty meh. In fact, the only lie I told was saying the target was random, and that's just because I wanted to see if I could elicit the 'wrong' person to clear me, nailing instantly two scum. It obviously didn't work, because Obviam was town. In fact, if you really want, go back and look at Obviam's coded messages to me. I'm Anouleth so it shouldn't be too hard to decypher if you wanted. 2) Raymond investigated and cleared me. The 90% thing is, as far as we know, pure flavour, but even ignoring that there's point 1 to argue, with me being 90% clear (actually, less - the chance he got a town result given I'm town is uhh not 90% but that's too complicated to explain right now). AND a now deceased townie clearing me. 3) At this point we can be confident Raymond is clear. Not just because he's killed two scum (in fact, I was STILL doubtful after seeing BK fall, as I suddenly saw he'd forced his way to town leader which is a massive advantage even with two scum down). Simply, he's claimed cop and nobody has counterclaimed. And if Raymond says I'm clear (and is in fact forwarding claims to me anyway...) well, there's little reason to hold back, isn't there? As for me being scummy... I can't easily address that. I had been working on the assumption I was clear, and so could go all out, in-your-face posting which is my usual style as a clear but I can certainly understand why people might think it was scummy. The mafia very well could have a godfatheresque type of role where said person may tell other people he is town. Raymond is clear enough and will be sufficient for collecting claims.(Though not as sufficient as I would be if I were cleared) @underlined-Unless I missed something stating such role didn't exist in the 32 pages I missed. It looked bad enough when you somehow managed to hit the same person twice on a "random", but THIS? I can definitely see how a role proclaiming to be town would be super-scummy. Besides - while I'm not ruling out the possibility of it happening, considering what has happened so far - it would be extremely questionable to put four roles that mess with the cop into the same game.
