I have the main story with all the branched convos, but should I include supports or base convos as well? This is how I had it set up. Woo, page 6. Correct me if I'm wrong, and if I am, I'll go listen to them. Yeah, it's the same stuff. Sorry for not getting louder versions up yet. The last couple weeks have been very hectic. As for character sheets, I guess they can't hurt, but I feel like a general script would be a little better. That way you get context for the lines, to help with inflection and all that stuff. I think the idea is that scripts should be generated for each chapter (maybe with a character's lines bolded to indicate who is speaking?) so that the context of each line is known. When trying to voice a line I personally like to see what other people were saying in the conversation before that line. It helps with inflection. For instance, imagine that Makalov's line is "oh boy". If Marcia said "I'm going to kill you, brother," before, you would say Makalov's line sarcastically. If Astrid said "Here have a bunch of money, sir," before that, then Makalov's line would be sincere and excited. So I personally wouldn't really like just a list of one character's lines. My first impression...was a rant. Yeah, stupid. I could send a message, but, I'm sure he won't care, IF it came from me. Plus, I've listened to his Marcia voice. I can already say, I'm not a fan of that particular voice. I'm not saying he can't apply at all. No, I don't want to say that to ANYONE. Besides, CR-S01 already did a great Marcia. His Ike...I think is meh. Everyone else, I don't know, because I muted his playthrough. =S Who's Ray? RayWilliamJohnson? Because RWJ would be near impossible to get. Come to think of it, I would appreciate having a list of characters that are being used in the game, so I could focus on refining my voice for that character. Brom needs to yell. -- You know, "STOP IT!" If you can, at least. If not, I understand, since I can't yell into a mic myself. Haar I thought was all right. I forget if Makalov yells at all. No wait, he does. When surprised by Ike at that one point. I don't know if it was intentional, but Volke fades out. Other than that, he seems pretty good. Ranulf seemed to capture that little bit of anger, which is good. Wait, maybe not anger. Perhaps annoyance. I dunno, it differs on each person. Shinon I enjoyed. Now, here is a question for you, and I can very much accept it if the answer is "no." Your mic tends to have that ...how do I describe it... breathing sound? You know, like when you put your lips right up to the mic or something. Hard to explain. But, is it possible for you to fix that? If you want a point of reference to what I'm talking about, just take a listen to your Greil audition. It happens right before you start talking. Jotaro Kujo Posted November 3, 2011 Share Posted November 3, 2011 Eail, to get rid of unwanted background noise, put a cloth over the mic when you talk, and talk off to the side of the mic, and not directly in front of it. It drastically reduces background noises. Don't worry about auditioning for a million different people. I already auditioned for like, 5 people and I'm going to audition for more after I get my life back in order.
