Why wait for something all your life and at the end have that dream destroyed. Why expect a greater good, when it never seems possible? There is hope, and then there is fase hhope. False hope is that hope where there is nothing that will make something better, yet you still expect it to because you are promised by some one it will. Moreover, many of those things you listed are not necessary qualities for god, especially not in the short term. Have you ever heard the phrase, "the gods help those who help themselves?" It'd make more sense to say Blue wave though... Oh god democratic party lobbying on serenes forest would be hilarious. To be honest... i don't know why i shove out a god... There is just something about it that disturbs me... something about people relying on a god for everything (not everything literaly) that just makes me mad. Well as long as we've resolved it down to the irrational, I can walk away feeling smug and satisfied. I mean, whether it's god or the fundamental forces, people rely on things sooner or later to explain what they don't really understand, which is almost everything.
