Guy Starwind
But if you gave her the prayer sword would Leaf inherit it? Edited November 26, 2011 by Guy Starwind
HF Makalov Fanboy Kai
But if you gave her the prayer sword would Leaf inherit it? why would i do that when he'll get a slim and Light sword?
Integrity
Because Prayer is an awesome skill? That said, I'm fairly sure it gets lost in translation if you try to pass it to Leaf.
Othin
Male characters can buy the Prayer Sword if it's broken, then use it themselves after repairing it. I assume inheritance works the same way: he can inherit it, but only if it's broken. Edited November 26, 2011 by Othin
Integrity
That's actually worth trying. afk breaking the prayer sword
Guy Starwind
I honestly didn't know. I knew only girls could use the prayer sword and since Ethlin is the only female parent (save Brigid) who passes items to her son I wasn't sure if it would work. I haven't tried it myself, but Serenes says they can. Have you tried it and gotten different results? Shin
I've tested it with Holyn and Skasaha. It can only be passed down broken, and it can be used if it's the only weapon in a guy's inventory.
Byte2222
I haven't tried it myself, but Serenes says they can. Have you tried it and gotten different results? I gave it to Dew to pass down to Patty and when he repaired it it was greyed out, which (as you know) normally means it can't be used. VincentASM
I'm pretty sure I succesfully tested the Prayer Sword trick, although it may have been the only item in the male's inventory. Which reminds me, I think it might be possible to use (or counter with?) holy weapons without major blood if it's the only item in your inventory as well (I know enemies can do this at least). Although I'm not sure what good that might do.
Psych
I know that if you break the Prayer Sword and give it to Holyn and repair it he can't use it, but Patty will inherit it. Though that's presumably the normal inheritance mechanics.
