It is better to read through the topic and see who has been dibbed and who is still available, as the OP can be outdated. We are calling Dibs! Yeah, that's right, no way we are sticking to Snake style drafts, auctions and that other stuff. We are people, we call dibs. Basically it means that there is no randomizing the draft order. It's about being there at the right time. When drafting starts, I'll give a sign, people are able to call dibs on a character. ONE character only. That unit will be added to his draft team. So if you are asleep when I give the sign for calling dibs, tough luck, you are going to be the last of the first round. A round is completed when everyone has called dibs on a character. (7 people for example are playing, 5 have called dibs on a character, 2 are asleep/out/afk, the rest has to wait till they have also called dibs on a character.) The person who called dibs last in the previous round, gets to sound the alarm for when the next round starts, so when you are the last of a round, you are the first of the next round. In between however, there is no order. An example: VS says GO: 2 7 3 1 5 6 4 (< last person to call dibs this round, so 4 may start the next) Four sounds the alarm: 4 1 3 2 7 5 6 (6 Is now the last person, and may start the next round) When we cannot make a complete round of calling dibs anymore, we stop drafting. So any excess units will be either discarded or free for all. Everyone will end up with an equal amount of units. Do you guys get how it works? Good. Read the rules btw, there are minor changes. That's about it for how to draft characters in this draft. I will not be playing, there is a max of 8 players in this draft. Call dibs quickly to get your place. PS: If a person does not say "I call dibs on "Character X" ", Their draft pick will not be listed, so read other peoples posts, and maybe you can steal a jewel they wanted. ;) Drafting: 1. This draft is for Up to 8 players players 2. Marth, Arran, Xane, Feena, and Rickard are free for all. 3. The game will be played on Hard 1. 4. Drafted characters must be recruited Rules: 1. Undrafted units may recruit characters, visit houses, trade, and shop. 2. Undrafted units may not do anything not listed above, including but not limited to opening chests/doors. 3. All characters are free for Prologue chapters. However, all drafted characters who are recruitable in the Prologue must be recruited. 4. You are free to reclass undrafted units to whatever you want. 5. All Gaiden chapters must be visited. They count towards your total turncount. 6. The game must be played out to the True Ending. Other: 1. The Rainbow Potion, Lunatic Statboosters and use of Wi-fi features are strictly prohibited. 2. Male Class Set Combination is allowed. 3. Warp may not be used on Marth. Rescue may not be used on Marth by a unit who has been Warped earlier in the chapter. Rescue Chains are prohibited as well. 4. Use of the Base Arena is allowed. 5. Use of the Clock Bonus is strictly prohibited. 6. Forging is allowed on basic weapons up to a maximum/minimum of three. (+/-3 Mt, +/- 15 Hit, +/-9 Crit, +/- 3 WT ) Penalties: 1. Undrafted units have a 4-turn penalty, per unit per chapter. Exceptions: 1. Palla is free for Chapter 3. 2. Yubello, Yumina, Ogma and Sirius are free for Chapter 4. 3. Navarre is free for Chapter 7. 4. Merric is free for Chapter 10. 5. Nyna, Maria, Lena and Elice are free for Final.
