Peppy
Oh, that is good to hear. Maybe make the Blackout last longer too (Like a week) so it can have an even bigger effect!
CrashGordon94
I ad the same thought. The only problem is that it could cause some serious inconvinience in the short term.
a.f.k.a. Howard Hughes
Oh no. That would be horrible. When stating our opinion about something that if passes is very inconvinient forever, we should totally care about if its inconvinent for short term. In the next episode rest of the world surrenders to north korea because war would be inconvinient for short term.
CrashGordon94
Oh, toss off. I'm just mentioning a problem. You really need to stop reacting like that.
a.f.k.a. Howard Hughes
Well excuse me if I happen to think inconviniency is the whole point of blackout. Makes people think about what if this thing don't exist anymore. You need to slap people to make them listen. Hey pot. guess what, ur still black
CrashGordon94
ummm, no. You overreacted, simple as that. I just stated something that could be considered a problem and you yelled at me, that's unnecessary and a textbook overreaction.

CrashGordon94
On another note, I do think a longer blackout might be warranted. It wouldn't be pleasant but it could be worth it.
Inactive Account
A longer, more widespread blackout might be of some use. I'm not sure about whether ACTA has much corporate sponsorship, but for the US bills which most certainly do, it would also be good to boycott those companies which support them for as long as possible. Really we just have to raise hell until things improve.
Fala
Hm. I think we need to make sure that everyone is aware this dumbass bill. So, I was thinking of talking to the creators of the following sites: Youtube Fanfiction.net facebook twitter And other sites.

Geez, Twitter. What a disappointment.

Inactive Account
Disappointing, yes... surprising, no, given their previous flirtations with censorship.
CrashGordon94
Well, I know one site I'm never joining. Perhaps Anonymous ought to teach 'em a lesson!
Nanami Touko
You can't sit back and wait for Anonymous to try and fix everything, because as cool as they might seem, they certainly can't handle the entire US government on their own. CrashGordon94
I meant them taking out Twitter, actually.

Original Alear
The only thing I got from the first internet blackout was trouble searching wikipedia. I didn't notice any inconvenience otherwise. We should black out Serenes Forest. Then I'd notice. And be glad.
Smiley Jim
The only thing I got from the first internet blackout was trouble searching wikipedia. I didn't notice any inconvenience otherwise. We should black out Serenes Forest. Then I'd notice. And be glad. I seriously doubt that the blacking out of a small time fan site like this is going to impact anybody's decision to vote against this bill. By the way, what the SOPA and PIPA bills are really going to do is heavily restrict people's rights to free speech and expression, and millions, if not billions of people worldwide will suffer if this bill is passed, especially since they will be able to extradate people from anywhere in the world to the US. I mean, it'd be like Chinese Internet but on a GLOBAL scale. If they pass this bill, heads will roll.
