Right, this is simple enough: You play this game (any version) with a randomly generated party!

Just go here and roll 4 dice, pick the classes relative to this:

1: Fighter/Warrior -> Knight

2: Thief -> Ninja

3: Black Belt/Monk -> Master

4: Red Mage -> Red Wizard

5: White Mage -> White Wizard

6: Black Mage -> Black Wizard

You can play however you want, and do this however many times you want, I'll keep a listing of who's playing and their party(s) along with whether they've finished and their game version (DON'T FORGET THE GAME VERSION!), anything else is up to you!

Now, have fun!

[spoiler=Players]

Sho: White Mage, Thief, Monk, White Mage (GBA) (Save corrupted)

Bryan: White Mage, Monk, White Mage, Red Mage

Elieson: White Mage, White Mage, Red Mage, White Mage (Not playing)

Baldrick: White Mage, Red Mage, Red Mage, Thief (NES)

Blazing_Soul: Monk, Monk, Fighter, Red Mage (GBA)

Anti-Social Knight 2.0: Thief, Red Mage, White Mage, Black Mage {GBA)

luigi bros: Black Mage, Fighter, White Mage, Thief (GBA) (Complete!)

3314 Now that's what I call a party.

Indeed, that one rocks.

And yes, it seems like there are loads of White Mages going about, it might help to spam RUSE/Blink (whichever it's called in your version) on them.

Also, I added the player listing in the OP, if I didn't list your game version, please tell me what it is.

This will be done on gba because I'm lazy and don't want to deal with playing on NES with actual Magic Points......man that was not fun times.

Not sure if I'll be playing along, but here's what I rolled:

4, 3, 6, 5.

Which gives me one of each mage and a monk. If I can find a copy of the game, I'll tag along.

Two Knights, a Monk and a Red Mage? I really wanted a black mage.... Oh well. :( At least I got the badass monk.

I'll be playing on VBA... I think. Maybe I should download the DS version, if there is one.

There's a PSP version, which further increases the resolution.

This might be interesting for people in this thread. Especially if you've played the original--you'll really be able to appreciate all the differences. But, the snazzy graphic design (by this we mean efficient) is appreciable all on its own, let alone the custom music for some areas (ports of music from FFIV and FFV if I remember).

EDIT:

Rather, this version is apparently the updated release. I didn't know it ever got released.
