Galenforcer
Chapter 21: Part 1: I brought in some filler guys with me. Igrene, Gonzales, Douglas and Garret. Since I no longer have the Silver Card, it's kinda pointless to try and buy some weapons. Nobody really benefits from this HP boost more than Saul. Some dancer level. Gonzales and Garret's role are to distract the northern forces. The mountain evade should let even them survive reliably. 32% at near base level. That's pretty good. A very welcome help to our troop. A whole buffet of Paladins and Wyvern knights to cut through... I got something, at least. It's all about walling to protect weaker units. Too bad about Killer Lance Wyverns. This was to be expected, considering his low luck. Garret however... This is all at base level too. Helpful that Mildey diverts bow users to her. Douglas gets an extra chance to live...if anyone cares... Doh. Made me improvise. Alan's still rockin' hard. A giant unit sandwich, which ensure safety from 2-rangers and the Wyverns. Percival is pretty MVP for kills on this map. Speed's getting irrelevant at this point. And we all live. We do have tough units covering the front. the only reason I brought Igrene. I'll just have to rely on those base stats. A big help. And Garret is suppose to suck. Now we're getting speed... The one thing hindering Garret's sweep. Everything's rounding up nicely. Who needs stats, he's on a mountain! *cracks knuckles* Growing some muscle. Couldn't be anymore perfect. Despite that missing business, we have no need for skill. I don't think we have anymore problems doubling at this point. It's onward to the throne. All done here. Random dancer level. Couple turns of some turtling, we're about to cross. Galenforcer
Part 2: Here comes the idle group. The ones who don't do anything but hug my units. Who needs anymore gains? So these Wyverns just showed up out of nowhere and are blocking my way. The northern ones are for Miledy and Treck. Garret's too busy hugging Gale. It'll make a difference. I tried, but of course gave up on trying it. Missed the level-up screen again. Got HP, Str, Skl and lck. For some reason, the Wyvern knights did not attack at all last enemy phase. Just blocked our way. He got a kill. Go crazy. Filling out those other areas. She's following the example. Gaining more good stats. After that, it's time to confront Murdock. If Roy was any weaker, I would've panicked a little. Defense man. A last, worthwhile level. Just playing around with Gale's troops. Don't mind him. Being way too casual right here. Suddenly, there's another wave of reinforcements right when I was at the throne. Double critical time. *smirk* This team looks like they're in trouble. But we've got Murdock to deal with first. Like that will help. A shame I cannot get the A support. Murdock, like Roartz, is one speed point short of murdering Lilina. So... Ellen, luckily, ran away to a safe spot. Yodel has no problems whipping these puny Wyverns. Already good enough. Just slowly cracking that armor. Hah! I remember when Alan missed the killing blow from Chapter 1. That was a long time ago... Irrelevant dancer level. But apparently, this is Lilina's time to shine. So powerful... I make turn requirement, but still can't get 21x because Zeiss is dead. It's not like Miledy won't help unless her brother's with us. So Roy promotes now, unfortunately. I could've restarted back then to save Zeiss, but that wouldn't have been right. Last Chapter update on Sunday, around afternoon.
Rapier
Roy is a joke character. Just look as his stats after promotion. >: Good luck with the last chapter! Though you have great units with you, like Alan, Treck, Miledy, Thany, Saul etc. it's going to be pretty challenging and fun to read. Gold Vanguard
Seeing all this characters die in this playthrough makes me sad.
Galenforcer
Chapter 22: Part 1: The final chapter. Treck, Miledy, Lilina, Cecilia and Yodel were deployed on the west side. That Killer Bow. Some minor infantry. We're practically set. Good thing Light Brand has set damage. Har. He's still of some use. Packing some Killing Edges for this chapter. A shame he isn't with the party, storming the throne. Roy is actually getting some use. Retreated a little, because don't wanna try taking a Brave Bow and Nosferatu. There are better ones to berserk, but if that's what you wanna do... Don't go too crazy over his stats. Someone to count on. Douglas actually got a kill. And a good level. Hard to tell his critical animation from 2-range. Woo-hoo. He criticals a lot with his double Dark supports. Cool. A Zealot kill. We'll need more power to beat Zephiel. Takes so long to reach the west switch. Roy's group just waits until then. Upon Douglas' return from pressing the button, he gets put to sleep. *hug* Dancer level. Galenforcer
Part 2: There really isn't much doubling that can be done with that speed. Just giving out levels. Waiting on them... And I didn't have enough magic as is. Yeah, there's a thief. But... I don't really care. Hurr. Moment of truth. Getting bumrished by Heroes. That's.... nice. A whole hoard of units. Most of which will attack from 2-range. Getting levels like no tomorrow. Would've been useful, but doubt it would've worked. Need to be at full health. These dragons are really durable. Some more stuff I have to dodge. Sadly, Percival could not keep up the dodging momentum. Might have to do with that Roy support. Well... this'll take some thought. Fenrir is really heavy, so Garret doubles with ease. With that HP, he can handle some of the hits. A lucky critical. He slays one of the mamkutes. The other was done in by Saul. Getting rid of the pesky Druids. Danced to and saving Thany's life. And another lucky save. They're all taken care off. This Bishop has been harassing Douglas. I pop another Holy Maiden to save his life. 1 crit... guess it's no time to be a wimp. Wasn't that bad. The final kill goes to Thany. Just cause. And... seize. Sunwoo
First of all, congrats for finishing! Second of all ... ouch. So many deaths.
ZemZem
It's a shame you can't go through the rest of the game due to Zeiss dying, but it was a great playthrough. Who knew Treck could be so boss? Shame that all those units died... :(
