Thank god for Garcia capping defense by ch14 and proceeding to rape ch15s south end. Eirikia Route done. Warrior Garcia capped speed with a wing. Kyle sucked. Moulder got 22 Magic and S anima and raped some bitches. Duessel got Garm and raped Franz got Vindofnir Neimi got 15 str/22 spd and Nidhogg. Overall, fun but kinda tedious. My thirst for fe8 hasn't been satiated, I must start another. 165 turns for Eirika Route. YES, I FINISHED FE8 IN ONE DAY, BOTH ROUTES, AND USING THE SPD INPUT IN VBA! And frameskip. charlie_ Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 Restarted. Prologue - 2 turns (2) Same shit, different draft. Chapter 1 - 5 turns (7) No Gilliam or Franz just means a buffer Eirika. Chapter 2 - 5 turns (12) Got Nessie some exp, and she got the Red Gem and the Elixir village. Chapter 3 - 7 turns (19) Colm means I dont' need to get the chest key. All efforts concentrated on rushing Eirika and feeding Nessie kills. Chapter 4 - 5 turns (24) Nessie rushes right to kill the eyeballs and reinforcements, Colm stays around spawn and Eirika crosses the bridge, leaving the boss to Nessie, and clears out around Lute's village. Chapter 5 - 6 turns (30) Could have been 3 or 4. But this way got me all of the villages, and Joshua for his Killing Edge. I took inspiration from Horace's Lockstep strategy, except without Joshua, and with more Eirika taking the front. Nessie was really helpful in snagging almost every village but the secret book. I managed to clear all enemies around Joshua out on turn 2 enemy phase and lure him on the same turn which was massively helpful. Fed Lute kills where I could. Chapter 5x - 7 turns (37) Kyle earnt a door key which I didn't end up needing, and 2 levels. Ephraim and Orson charged the boss and got a chest key I actually did use. Chapter 6 - 4 turns (41) Nessie Nessie flies, everyone else acts as bait. Simple enough. Chapter 7 - 4 turns (38) Nessie flies into the distance with Eirika, dropping her near the boss. Colm snags the Energy Ring, Chapter 8 - 10 turns (48) Nessie chugged the ring in the prep screen. This one was tricky. Basically, I decided the best way way to have Eirika clear the throne room herself, while everyone else from her group worked together with Kyle to retrieve the Whip. Kyle was kind of clutch in the fact he got the knight to get out of Colm's way in opening the door, and then grabbing the chest himself. Got the robe too. Chapter 9 Eph - 10 turns (58) So now I finally get how Horace did it. Well, I had a better team for it I think, but whatever. Vanessa promoted at level 12, and chugged the Robe, I needed her as a Wyvern for this to work. Lute killed a knight turn 1 and promoted her to Mage Knight. She and Vanessa took it in turns taking the front at the start, and then they fully moved, Kyle carried Ephraim and passed him on to Vanessa who dropped him. Everyone else trained. Chapter 11 Eph - 7 turns (68) Nessie drops Kyle to clear the main boat out. Lute stays at the back spamming Torch. Colm, Nessie and Ephraim played cleanup. Colm almost broke the Lancereaver I got last map. Chapter 12 Eph - 4 turns (72) Nessie carries Lute and the pair team the boss. Everyone else trains.
