Primefusion
FE7 Final Chapter part 1 stuffRoutine at 0x79AB5 Checks how many enemy units are on the map and returns true or false depending on if there is a specific number of them. The final chapter utilizes it like so: MiscBasedEvents: ASME 0x29 label24 0x79AB5 // Execute whatever is at label24 if the routine returns 1 (true) // It gets called whenever an enemy dies. // Some other misc stuff END_MAIN Normally it checks if it's 3 (Nergal and the two generics in his room). At 79ADE you should see 03. Change this to whatever number you want the routine to check for (in hex of course). Edited August 5, 2014 by Primefusion
Brendor
Or you could rewrite the routine to check for different values based on chapter That'd be pretty cool
Vennobennu
Fe8 has an enemy counter built in; the command _0x1924 will count the number of enemies alive and store that number to Memory Slot 0xC. You can then check it however you want with one of the conditional commands. There's also _0x1925, which counts the number of NPC's alive. I have a feeling like fe7 has something similar to display numbers in the status screen but I've never heard or read of any routines that have been found and tested
