Maybe he thought he could coast by. Also, if I were scum, I wouldn't have shot one of the two people who were calling for me to be lynched after des Rois. Why not take the dayvig so town can't use it AND get an extra kill. Seeing as Scumnori and Navo were vanilla it's highly probable that they tried to grab the bomb, but didn't get it.
