If she'd joined in the last mission, there was a chance she could have screwed up the plot, considering she would have been able to recognize our group, and wouldn't have had any reason not to tell the enemy who we actually are, if only to start a fight. A healthy fit build, more on the skinny side, but hard to point out in a crowd due to a generic colored light deer-pelt leather padded armor. Wears a tightly strapped shoulder mount made of glimmering tempered steel that functions as a buckler when worn for combat (the shiniest thing he owns and adorns), a finely hand-carven wooden sheath for his short sword strapped to his back, and a crossbow that fastens to the side of his thick leather belt-buckle. Personality: Honorable, charismatic, and willing to assist. Cole has been known to always help those in need, and usually put his comfort and safety on the side just to ensure that someone who needed his help would make it through to the next day. No Robin Hood, but still helpful in all ways bar the sharing of his coin (as he isn't known for his incredible wealth), but still, charismatic and has quite a way with words, and can comfortable shmooze with the upper and lower class. Backstory: Cole was raised in a fishing village on the outskirts of the Tascaran Empire, by his father, Topher, and for a short time, his grandparents, Elenora and Jasper. His mother passed at childbirth, so there is no memory of her other than the positive and always appreciated stories of his father's youth with Hellene. He was a charismatic youth, always willing to aid the elderly and those in need with more menial day to day tasks, simply out of the goodness of his heart. Cole now lives alone with his father while helping him maintain his small fish stock that he sells daily in the upper rings of the Empire's more wealthy district. Cole runs their home by maintaining their small plot of farmland and using his natural archery skills to hunt wildlife for food and pelt, while Topher earns his way in the city during the day. Unfortunately, on Cole's 27th birthday, Topher had breathed his last breath, as a quarrel between the lower and upper rings of the Empire had caught him in their crossfire, and ended his innocent life in a way most brutal. Cole sold his father's home and land, and most of their belongings, in an effort to travel and serve the public with all silver in his pocket and his good name. His skill with a bow has net him much work hunting for families outside of the Empire itself, while within, his skills were noticed by the guard. Cole was offered to be a tower guard by the Corp. under Empress Valindra, but declined simply to enjoy his freedom for as long as he could. For her clothes she wears a leather vest, shorts, and a pair of knee-high boots with a black cape that reaches the back of her thighs. Personality: Ashta is a very sly lady who loves to tease her fellow platoon mates and often plays around with pranks and other mischievous actions. And even is she seems to be nonchalant about most things Ashta knows when to be serious and when she is serious her whole personality shifts from quirky and playful girl to a cold and ruthless fighter. Backstory: Ashta grew up as the child of a Dracian noble up until she turned 15 where her rebellious nature, and her shaky relationship with her parents caused her to run away and live her life as a mercenary of sorts. Because Ashta had gained a talent of thieving when she would often steal gold from her parents behind their backs, many people paid her to steal valuables from their enemies. Because of this Ashta has alot of contacts with the black market, and of course a lot of enemies. After a certain job where Ashta stole a large sum that caused the collapse of a family. Ashta never forgave herself when she saw the child of the family whom had starved to death because of her. This lead to her to joining the army to try redeem herself. Not really excelling at anything other than the use of the rapier, Oshea used his newfound skills to pose as a legendary fighter. Whilst his track record is quite impressive, virtually all of his achievements were a result of dishonesty, disception or both. Parrhesia Posted April 21, 2013 Author Share Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) The shittiest level 1 skills have been buffed and made more simple (Brace, headbutt, shieldbreaker), bodkin arrows received a slight nerf (proccing on 16+ instead of 15+), and wording on a couple things sucks less now. Also, nobody uses tier 1 slashing anymore, so I'm renaming the brief cameo of 'Warblade' to Broadsword. Tier 1 slashing will become Shortsword, as it probably should've been called initially.
