So, in honor of the shitstorms that arose in the FE12 Translation thread, I pretty much get the feeling that the rage/complaints about localization have to go somewhere. Let's not clutter up Vincent's FE13 Localization first look thread. Besides, Far from the Forest makes it so that people have more freedom in their... posts when it comes to areas like this. And it's more entertaining when people are pretty much allowed to "troll" in a sense since this is Far from the Forest. Without further ado, let the storm commence, even if it's little by little. And that's why I'm fine with localizations. But "Plegia" sounds stupid. I don't know what they're going for there. Besides the "suffering a stroke" term. "Perezia" sounds more like a country. I was hoping Soiree would stay, when I saw that Soiree and Emelina got their names changed, my first thought was, "Sully??? That's a guy's name!" Sully and Mike, I could go with that for the "Cain and Abel" duo of FE 13. I was hoping Viole would be the localized name, although Virion sounds strangely fine with me. It's a pretty legit name in most other languages including the nation's own. I'm ok with the translation names overall, they're not goofing up that bad, and some of them do sound pretty neat/make enough sense. I'd say it's satisfactory. And I'm sure I'll be liking VAIKE TIME.
