Howard Hughes Posted November 10, 2012 Share Posted November 10, 2012 (edited) Ok so what the bloody hell is semi efficent run? 1) Full team of 6 pkmn (eventually) 2) No Legendaries because while you obviously should yoink 1 with Master ball, its too easy for my preference 3) No Goldeen usage because this is technically efficent run. 4) No skipping skipable areas or (most of skipable) trainers. lets get to it shall we. I do say screencapping this emu is much pleasant than DS... In other words no Leppa Berry fun (um so?) Around now I woul like to point out that this is not a funny playtrough so to say. I will be conserning myself with stuff like what works against this gym and how my team is advancing but I am not making fun of the game (so I can just go crazy with A spamming dialog) I did say this is somewhat of a efficiency run did I not? For those of you who don't know Mudkip is simply amazing ingame pkmn. Everyone who gets my naming references is awesome I am almost able to care I am level 6 because wild mooks, not because I fear non stab grass types with no potions when I have 2 for free :/ Took under minute to find (I checked). Thank you hyperspeed. Ralts is often said to be worse than Abra (I disagree) but its still early Psyhic type with very passable offence. Also it can learn Thunderbolt. These thinks are rare? Ralts, pkmn self sufficient before Petalburg woods. Take notes Abra. Also Kariya learned Water Gun to remove any utility Mud Slap might have versus Roxanne. Anyone Claiming Ralts has awful earlygame can officially suck it. And I counter your argument before you mention the coverage issues Might as well slab it on Mudkip. Maybe it starts being useful around ocean? Any of Treecko/Combusken/Mudkip/Marill/Wingull/Lotad/Shroomish in your team and she becomes "Mook Roxanne" See? 3 hit win. ...fuck How about no. The stats aren't shabby either All types of supefluous This side quest is most likely the most "worth it" of them all At this rate I can seriously consider using Wobbufett Nope. This will be the only time I use this. Speeded up walking is so much more convinient Bout time, that shock wave is shamefully weak. So wak that Stab Psychic deals same damage as super effective Shock Wave Needs some work... Hot. 'Bout time Figures the one I actually want to keep is sellable. Next route will be long one. cheers! Ok folks take your bets at what is it going to be (you know this if you paid attention) ...no Haha no Dear god no I wish ...no NO NONONO GODDAMMIT As much as I hate this pile of mouseshit, Its still Pokemon with good stats and movepool but most importantly natural stab thunderbolt right before the ocean. Howard Hughes Posted December 3, 2012 Author Share Posted December 3, 2012 Ok so I played this one in 2 parts unlike the others and to my annoyance the vba is a bastard that decides to replace cap-01 of previous session with the new one. I was previously unaware of this for I simply uploaded all pics and then removed them from my computer every time before this I stopped playing Anyway this caused me to lost 10 or so screencapts, none that I really miss, they were mainly Pick Up loot as I recall. This guy marks the spot where I stop being overleveled. I blame the inflation of my team size. Of course there is no challenge yet because these bastards do not know how to build teams. When starting to starve for exp, this is the route to take I have a feel I find use to this eventually What? His effective ingame movepool can be counted with one finger so I might do something silly for bosses When you are in the team for one move only, you get certain favouritism. (That was PP Max I recall.) They really should let us pick the option to play evil guys. Based on this guy getting to the upper ranks should be child's play This is where the internal clock not working starts to annoy. Not that the no water swag was any good in this cave. hahano I am half considering bumping Swanpert for Sharpedo. Earth is starting to be irrelevant type and Resisting/immuning water/psychic is awesome. First time I turbo'd right out... I forgot to screencap twins. Basically just Dark/Ghost your way. Shadow ball is awesome. I was actually rather boned here after Earthquake killed Raichu, Solrock Sunday!Solarbeam'd Swampert, Xatu Calm Mind upped some nasty things and stuff like that. Of course my final reserve was fully able to just pimp trough this place. Figured I am really starting to want insta fix to any given situation... Dammit.
