So do you guys plan on reclassing your units or are you just going to keep them in their original "class tree"

Hi guys I pretty much never post a topic on the forums(due to me being way too shy and having no friends ;_;)

so anyway do you guys plan on changing your characters' "class trees"? (ex: virion changed into a mage)

as for me I plan on reclassing my MU into a mage/Sage, Gregor into a a barbarian/bezerker, and Freddy into a wyvern rider/Griffon Rider(why a griffon rider? 'Cuz I can!)

I rarely reclass, i see the starting class as part of the character's character. I know it means i probably don't get the statistically best out of every unit but im cool with that. The only times i do reclass anything it normally stays within a theme so someone who starts as a magic user get reclassed to another magic based class, i cant think of any occassion where i have changed a mage to say a myrmidon.

I will say that means im not one of the people that will play the game on all the hardest settings.

I plan on reclassing most characters with a magic class into a magic class (especially if they have a high magic modifyer), though I'll have them outside of such at least for a while. And it would largely depend on what I would need anyways.

Like for instance, Wood is becoming either a Sorcerer or a Sage, depending on who his mother's with. Likewise, Noire is likely becoming a Sorcerer in spite of whether or not her father has given her other magic classes. I may abandon both cases if their Str modifiers happen to be higher than their Mag modifiers, however. (Such as in if either is sired by Frederick or Vaike.) I'm just gonna leave it at that for now.

Oh, and Donnel's eventually becoming either a Hero or a Warrior.

I like where your coming from. The character's starting classes really go well with their personalites.

I'll probably do some reclassing just to make stronger units, then use a change seal to return them to their default classes. It wont seem right if I don't. lol

I'll be reclassing to get a good skill list, but then I'll just return them to their default class. Except Donny, because no.

Question, what would the "default" promoted class for unpromoted characters be, whichever one fits best with their personality?

forgot about donnel lol

also I do like the idea of reclassing just for skills

(reclass freddy to get holy shield, great shield, renewal, carrier, defender to get the most powerful butler knight tank XD)

Oh good, so I'm not the only one who's going to make the weapon junky into a magus. I'm pairing Liz up with Libera, and he actually comes out to be a pretty potent magus based on max stats and classes available.

That said, many reclasses. As many as I can to get the skills I want/need and to max out stats. On subsequent play throughs, maybe only one or two reclasses per character, but I'd still likely reclass some.

If any characters have the Dracoknight or Pegasus Knight Class trees, then they are reclassed to those. Otherwise, I couldn't care less. Maybe I will for others for some skills, but otherwise, I won't really reclass anyone that doesn't have a Flying class in their class tree.

The only people I know I'm going to reclass are my Avatar and Gregor.

I'm going Priest or Mage, and Gregor's going Barbarian. he'dlooksosxcasone

Otherwise, I'll probably keep people close to their respective classes. Once I reach endgame I'll mess around with reclassing and skill sets.

I will reclass all my units because I want the skills. In the end I will put them back into their base class tree.

Probably only Morgan will not be in her same starting class line since she'll start off as a pegasus knight, but I want her to be a Grandmaster in the end. Maybe Noir too and make her a Sorcerer.

At first the idea of reclassing didn't strike me interesting or rewarding enough, back with the NDS games. But considering that in this game there is more to it and is virtually an endless cycle, I may go wild with it.
