nocturnal YL
Genealogy of the Holy War... Great. I actually expected some sort of name change because, well, "Holy War" sounds... unsuitable for the general Western audience? Now I'm interested in FE3/FE12's name. Duff Ostrich
NoA rarely disappoints with their localizations. Almost every change is a big improvement, and those that aren't (Seliph is weird) are still okay anyway. I'm particularly overjoyed that I'll never have to type "Falaflame" again. Of course, I still probably will, considering that even with superior translations on hand I still have a stubborn tendency to use old names. Draug >>>>>>>> Doga, but I always forget and use "Doga" anyway.

Otherarrow
Forgive me for bursting in, but I think it was reported earlier that "Doma" was changed to "Duma"? That was a mistake I take it? Sorry for the trouble. As for Novis, I believe that is Nova, the island where Celica's story starts. nocturnal YL
Got another question. I think what the promotional materials call "holy ruler" is referred to as the exalt in-game. They're essentially the same concept, yes? In Japanese Emmeryn has only been called "seiou" and Chrom called himself the "seiou dairi" (acting holy ruler) before officially inheriting Emmeryn's title. Shadow Stalker X
...Please tell me the FE2 dark god isn't alternatively referred to as "Duma" or "Doma" at different points. Looks like it's only referred to at one point in the game, and that's in the StreetPass team menu as Duma. (the only other location, for Duma's Remains, was renamed the Demon's Ingle)

VincentASM
Whew, I'm almost done with fixing all the skill names. A huge thanks to everyone for posting all these changes ^^ Some things I just wanted to check: Is the Great Knight's skill definitely called Support Block+? (I just guessed it) Has anybody grabbed the Goddess Staff from Paralogue 14 to check if its name has been changed? Is "Holy Ruler" or "Holy Queen" ever used in the game (Emmeryn's title)? Similarly, anyone know what the first ruler of Ylisse is referred to ("First Holy King" in the original)? Also, I found it amusing how Old Hubba has a family now X D Edited February 12, 2013 by VincentASM
Agro
The Holy Ruler is called the Exalt. Accordingly, the Mark of Naga is called the Mark of the Exalt, and the first Exalt is... well, the first Exalt. I can't remember if it was First Exalt or first Exalt though. Goddess Staff is still that. Dual Guard+ is Dual Guard+ (and the description says "Increases the trigger rate of Dual Guards by 10%") Edited February 12, 2013 by Agro
Shadow Stalker X
Hmm, looking over my first post, it seems that just about everything that can be found at the moment has been found, though just because I haven't seen it reported anywhere, Special Dance has been left unchanged, right? It's the only thing I've yet to get a clear answer for. Outside of that, it seems the major things left for the site are the Legacy characters, and any DLC items that haven't been released yet. I don't really know what to expect of the DLC schedule, but the way I see it, we should be finding out some more of them in about 2-3 weeks, since King vs. King 1 should be out in that time frame, which has a lot of Legacy characters attached to it. Aside from that, only other major thing that needs to added to the site itself are the boss localized names, which I'll just leave here, with their original name and the chapter added in for convienience. [spoiler=Boss names]Orton (Aglio) (5) Vasto (Olio) (7) Campari (Pomodor) (9) Dalton (Dolch) (12) Ignatius (Blase) (14) Farber (Hafen) (15) Pheros (Fels) (17) Mus (Eins) (22) Bovis (Zwei) (22) Tigris (Drei) (22) Lepus (Vier) (22) Draco (Funf) (22) Anguilla (Sechs) (22) Equus (Sieben) (22) Ovis (Acht) (22) Simia (Neun) (22) Gallus (Zehn) (22) Canis (Elf) (22) Porcus (Zwolf) (22) Xalbador (Zakiha)(P7) Cassius (Katsidis) (P8) Ruger (Luger) (P9) Morristan (P11) Gyral (Jiral) (P13) Dalen (Din) (P13) Nombry (Nadabe)(P14) Ezra (Izasa) (P15) Zanth (Za'ha) (P18)

Accordingly, the Mark of Naga is called the Mark of the Exalt, and the first Exalt is... well, the first Exalt. I can't remember if it was First Exalt or first Exalt though. I remember from the videos I saw that "exalt" isn't capitalized. EDIT - Yep. EDIT 2 - Seems like they modified the script a bit in one place. 19:55 in the video has the Avatar ask if Frederick's manner is because of him serving royalty, which Fred answered "Indeed." If I remember well, in the JP version he said something like "No, that's just my personality." EDIT 3 - Went on to Chapter 2's beginning. Mariabelle expressed disgust over Vaike's indecency rather than Lissa's befriending another commoner. It seems that there'll be a lot of differences to find if we look at the finer details of the dialogues. Wheels
The captions in the CG at the end of Chapter 13 have it as 'Mark of the Exalt', so definitely capitalised for the Mark EDIT: And in case anyone was wondering on the pronounciation of Owain, it's Oh-wayne. Shadow Stalker X
Well, the SpotPass for today has been updated today, with P18: The Dead King's Lament, FE9 characters, and two new Double Duel teams. For the World Map page, the name of the location is Sea-King's Throne.
bookofholsety
Two quick questions on that note: a) re this week's SpotPass Double Duel teams: are they Vaike's Victory and Stahl's Horsemen (or whatever they're actually called)? It doesn't matter that much because seriously who even cares about Double Duel, but oh well. b) concerning last week's SpotPass releases: is the batch of FE8 teams referred to in-game as "The Sacred Stones" or "The Sacred Stone"? Again, it's not that important; I'm just wondering whether the typo/absence of pluralisation was just a website error (seriously just look at the CoY2 description, this thing is practically drunk on typos) or if it's an in-game choice too.
