Because FASHION is pricey. So are TMs. Did you... checked the Looker Bureau already? Yeah, but I don't feel like looking around for some slips of paper, ATM. Battle mansion is all you need. But I haven't tried it yet, I have played this game for 25 hours, and I'm still on the 4th gym... I only attempt this when I have EV trained Pokemon. I don't have any EV trained Pokemon right now. On a side note, after you beat the Elite Four, you can go to Geosenge Town and meet Trevor. There, he'll tell you a Pokemon that can Mega Evolve. These may be rumors that I saw floating around the web, but supposedly, there is a Pokemon that stores power in its cheeks that has a Mega Evolution. My guess? Raichu. There are also Mega Evolutions for Eon Pokemon. Probably Latios and/or Latios. The rest are (1) a bug that uses electricity (Galvantula), (2) a grass-type with vines (Tangrowth?), (3) a three-headed dragon (Hydreigon?), and (4) a Pokemon from space (Clefable, Jirachi, or Deoxys?) Anyway, it's like Hoenn all over again. Great 'til after the Elite Four. THERE'S LITERALLY NOTHING TO DO NOW! Or at least very little that doesn't require grinding for money or EXP or something.
