More like "if you equip a weak effective weapon to attack something, your counter won't do much". But yeah, Vanessa can't be doubled even weighed down by Vidofnir and her defence becomes pretty strong. She hasn't proc'd Pierce yet, too!

Vanessa only has 20 str though so she won't fight the bulkier folks like Generals and promoted Cavs very well.

I just realised I'd forgotten to count Vidofnir's defence boost up to now - good thing Vanessa has been dodging everything. Edited turn 2 and 3 to include proper dmg vs. Vanessa.

- Supports can be killed (Lute going down in a round of combat pretty easily)

- No +hit supports makes facing evasive units with avo supports difficult

- Pierce is still luck-reliant and when you're hitting things with a semblance of defence, 20 str will prove to be too low

- I dunno which tome users are even viable for this to matter. I only like Moulder and Druid Ewan right now, but time may change my views

tana x eirika seems like a great pair, and they can support triangle with ephraim (who admittedly isn't very good). all supports give full atk, accuracy, and crit for whatever that's worth.

Reginleif sounds like a pretty hot toy as long as people on horses and in armour are around.

What about Cormag? He supports Tana for +atk/+hit, and you do get two Fili Shields for both of them.

cormag is okay too, i guess. he doesn't support eirika, competes for vidofnir, and doesn't have 29 speed.

WK!Cormag looks really good what with having the same AS as the girls (with Vidofnir) but slightly more Str and significantly more durability. I might try him in another team.

Quick question, what classes is Swordslayer effective against besides Merc and Myrm lines? Or is that it?

marshmallow you can send me your fe8 team if you're interested in playing against randa on saturday as well

for all those teams it would be great if you could get them in asap so i can do some preparation beforehand so the games can run quickly. that preparation would have to be done tonight because i have no free time tomorrow, so if any of you are online now i'd really like to get those teams within the next 2 hours.

i can look into hosting a trs game if need be, but espinosa would definitely be a better choice for that because i know he has much more experience with the game
