___ Posted January 1, 2017 Share Posted January 1, 2017 people voted Yuri on Ice! anime of the year over at ANN....I suspect a lot of this has to do with the fact that it's from the last season of the year, meaning it's fresh in your mind when you get down to voting...that gives it a lot of impact...I didn't watch it, so I don't know what to say about it, but that opening theme was actually great imo, so I'll just go with it....the other votes didn't surprised me too much, some shows I agree with others I didn't watch and can't comment, but it seems there was a general agreement on the top few spots... Right now it's the most recent stuff they watched on a season were I personally didn't see much interesting (I mean, Keijo! is probably it's closest competition), so I think the bias is pretty strong there... S3 - 3058 JOJO's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable - 2248 KonoSuba - 1858 Assassination Classroom - 1834 votes Bungo Stray Dogs - 1811 votes You can see there the difference between top two/four shows and pretty much everything else. Personally I though Re:Zero would win it, and it may have if Yuri had come out earlier in the year. Everything in the list I can more or less understand, except the Yuri, Erased, and Bungo Stray Dogs (which I suspect is another example of being in the last season of the year).
