Huh, gen 2 started in the late 100s or sometime sooner, what exactly determines the generations? Was it gen 2 starting at page 100, and then start going by the thousands? Edited by Freohr Datia

it's almost like the gens make no sense whatsoever!

especially since we're copying FE4 thread and they only have like 5 gens in 28000+ pages

Yeah I noticed gens finish much more quickly in this thread~

it's not going by the thousands either because if it was

gen 1: 1 - 100

2: 100 - 1000

3: 1000 - 2000

4: 2000 - 3000

5: 3000 - 4000

then we'd be on 5 already

I think even if I messed up and it's supposed to be 1100, 2100, etc we'd still be on 5 :U or 6

Gen 2 started at page 11 and ended at 1000

gen three starts at oage 1001 and ends at 5000

Gen four starts at 10001 and so on

I think the point is that the latter you arrive, the less important it becomes.

The 100 first are then founding... goons, so they are more important.

Obviously, since it just counts the join date, and not the influence on the thread, it's not that relevant.

If we go by shadow by the time we get to the fe4 thread we would be in gen 20 or something

Gen 2 started at page 11 and ended at 1000

gen three starts at oage 1001 and ends at 5000

Gen four starts at 10001 and so on

it doubles by the number

Gen 5 would start on page 20000 and Gen 6 on 40000

Come to think of it, I don't think the Gens in FE4Thread were that well-defined either. Then again, I didn't become a regular there until way late to study the phenomena. The only clear thing I can state is that Gen5 was defined on the influx of new people that showed up near the end of 2012. Heh, it was quite close since I becoming a regular in October that year still qualified me for Gen4.

Seriously Shadow, you'd have let 5001 pages without generation

but the numbers are so arbitrary it messes with OCPD aaaahhhhh

FE4 Thread defines it by new people showing up(I think) so it makes even less sense
