This pool was kinda weird since there were like NO supports almost and a lot of mediocre to terrible units, but it seemed balanced at least. Elieson Posted March 31, 2014 Share Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) Consider this payback for the extremely close Tourney match we just had Yea; I never thought Lucia would be useful in any way until after i ok'd my selection, and realized that "Shit, Ilyana and Ena both need speedwings that I don't have!!" and requested the switch, and Geoffrey was able to do just enough to be valuable. I was so close to attacking Jill with my Silver Bow to check for Full Guard and her weapon, but Astrid was slightly weaker and IMO less threatening overall. Though, I am curious; why didn't you keep Adept on Soren, and put Wrath on Jill? The paranoia of potential Wrath!Jill drove me nuts (ask Horace, I bugged him on Skype for hours on it). Crits off of magical damage would annihilate everything on your team, and I had Soren specced so that he could survive a round of combat with any of your guys. I was actually considering starting Astrid with a bow and Laguzguard just for Geoffrey, but of course I had no guarantee you wouldn't attack with Largo or Naesala and get free hits, so I didn't.
