solrocknroll
My top 5 Retro courses are Sherbet Land, Music Park, Moo Moo Meadows, Donut Plains 3, and Royal Raceway. My top 5 Nitro courses are Mario Kart Stadium, Water Park, Dolphin Shoals, Thwomp Ruins, and Sunshine Airport. Honorable mentions to Toad Harbor and Tick Tock Clock. I really dislike Sweet Sweet Canyon and Mount Wario. Ugh, they're awful.
kingddd
Top 5 Fav: Bowser's Castle, Twisted Mansion, Shy Guy Falls, Cloudtop Cruise, N64 Rainbow Road Top 5 Least Fav: 3DS Music Park, 3DS Piranha Plant Slide, Sunshine Airport, Dolphin Shoals, Thwomp Ruins I never liked 90% of the MK7's tracks which is why I wasn't fond of them bringing them back in MK8's retro tracks. Ironically MK7 has my favourite rainbow road in the entire series. I personally categorize MK8's rainbow road as meh tier. I found the track design was underwhelming but made up for it for the songs. Dijon Mustard
I still don't get how they made Toad's Turnpike one of my favourite courses in N64 and made it one of the most boring tracks in the game. When drifting goes from a challenge to control/abuse (N64) to easy (Wii U), turn-straightaway-turn track designs no longer cut it. Anacybele
I'll just do my own tier list. lol God Tier Rainbow Road N64 Rainbow Road Top Tier Electrodome Water Park Yoshi Valley Sunshine Airport Dolphin Shoals Cheep-Cheep Beach Music Park Okay Tier Everything else Terrible Tier Toad's Turnpike I just hate Toad's Turnpike. I love any Rainbow Road, basically. lol I'm honestly not sure which one I like better in MK8 though. Rainbow Road has the more awesome track design, but I love the colors more in N64 Rainbow Road. :P Edited September 10, 2014 by Anacybele
Squidmark Iggy
The original Rainbow Road for the N64 has to be my least favourite of the RRs, probably because of how long it is, and that it had fences all around the track. There are also random Chain Chomps that can hit you, but that's it for the hazards. I'm really glad of what they did on Mario Kart 8, by removing most of the fences, making the course shorter and making it a lot prettier. And my fave track in the game has to be either the Electrodrome or Sweet Sweet Canyon. (Toad's Turnpike can burn in hell, though.)
NinjaMonkey
My favourite course: DK Jungle/Mount Wario/Twisted Mansion/Electrodome (four-way tie) My least favourite course: Donut Plains 3 As for Toad's Turnpike, I have to say that I do like it, even though it's not what I'd consider to be one of my favourite tracks in the game (and it's a lot better than Moonview Highway from Mario Kart Wii). Carter
First DLC vehicle announced. The favourite B-Dasher from Mario Kart DS and 7 return. My favourite vehicle is back again woot. I know this place hasn't been posted in a while, but whatever. B-Dasher back! I've always loved that kart, but I hated the way it looked in MK7. Looks so stunning here. I just wish that red line at the front of the car would change according to the character. Did they say if they were gonna announce more DLC karts later during the year? Ema Skye
Sounds like it's a Mach 8 clone. That's two of the four vehicles accounted for. I wish we knew more about the tracks.
Quintessence
Is the Blue Falcon also in the first DLC pack? Edited September 30, 2014 by Quintessence
Carter
^ Yeah. It's gonna be great, I'll finally be joining the MK8 Tournaments again (since my hype for Smash 4 should have gone down after a month), and I can ride in the Blue Falcon with Toadette! But if there's better karts, I'll definitely be using those.

Gaia
Oh god, I saw that. I also saw that TBB uploaded a video about Nintendo Directs and I literally spent two hours looking for a Nintendo Direct and realized that there was none.
