Skarmory @ Leftovers Impish | Sturdy 252 HP 252 Def 4 SpD -Roost -Brave Bird -Stealth Rock -Whirlwind Sylveon @ Leftovers Bold | Pixilate 252 HP 252 Def 4 SpD -Protect -Heal Bell -Wish -Hyper Voice These two are standard, and they allow me to have a great physical wall, and a great special wall. Greninja @ Assault Vest Timid | Protean 252 SpA 252 Spd 4 HP -Ice Beam -Surf -Dark Pulse -HP Fire AV is truly amazing on Greninja as it allows it to survive so many hits that it couldn't normally. Otherwise, standard. Talonflame @ Choice Band Adamant | Gale Wings 252 Atk 252 Spd 4 HP -Fly (I really need it, and this thing really only needs Brave Bird and Flare Blitz) -U-Turn -Flare Blitz -Brave Bird If I really need to change fly then I will, but it is super convenient to have fly on one of my competitive pokemon. Garchomp @ Choice Scarf Jolly | Rough Skin 252 Atk 252 Spd 4 HP -Earthquake -Outrage -Stone Edge -Brick Break Kinda want to change brick break, but to what? And finally... Pinsir @ Pinsirite Jolly | Moxie/Aerilate -Swords Dance -Close Combat -Return -Quick Attack Standard Mega Pinsir. Still very threatening. Alright, so rate this team and stuff. since you have two pokemon that are very weak to SR, wouldn't it be good to have defog on the skarmory? Maybe even in place of SR... It's already lightning fast and could have such a high Attack boost that it becomes a great mixed sweeper, while the new ability makes it a good partner for a myriad of Water and Flying types, boosting the power of moves such as Leaf Storm to good levels. It's just that he doesn't have that great of an ability, a very underwhelming (special) movepool, and priority is everywhere. Unburden looks good on paper, but it's overkill on sceptile and it's a one time use. ...I think we all know about the latter two. I can see him being in RU or UU. Mega Sharpedo and Mega Gallade are both definitely going to net themselves into OU, while Mega Camerupt will most likely end up in RU/UU. It'll be difficult to switch in to for sure. Sharpedo will be low OU. It would be tricky to use and requires certain priority users to be gone. Speed Megas will always be more niche than wallbreaker or sweeper Megas. Gallade is currently a worse Medicham. Time will tell if it gets anything different. MRDRHAWK Posted September 10, 2014 Share Posted September 10, 2014 I don't believe so. Strong Jaw doesn't give 1.5x to biting moves, I think it's 1.2... which actually makes it 150 BP. Which is not as effective, but can still rip some Pokes a new asshole. I'd love it if Mega Gallade got a new ability that was a "slashing moves" variant of Iron Fist/Strong Jaw. Psycho Cut/Leaf Blade/Night Slash would all have a lot more power with the chance for more critblicked if Focus Energy becomes a thing. Pretty good, IMO.
