To be fair, you referred to him as Issac before and that's what caused Anon to make the joke.

He doesn't get mad at me though (and it helps that he knows that I know and joke about people always misspelling his name)

Wait do you know that's why he said that or are you assuming that must be so?

Issac is the protagonist' name in Golden Sun

Chapter 2: Cursed Hunt

Kinumi P.O.V.

"So I need to go to Panambi Town..." I mumble as I walk down the trail. "There have been a lot of mysterious deaths there recently. And all the other hunters who have gone were killed. I can't fail!"

"Which is why I'm coming with you." I hear a voice from behind me. I turn around to face Kitty, another hunter. We'd known each other since we were small, since all hunters were interrelated.

"You were assigned to this mission as well?" I ask, surprised. Kitty was considered one of the best hunters in the family. That she would be sent with me is impressive.

"Yes, let's be on our way." She says, walking ahead of me. I follow her, uncertain whether this hunt would be as easy as I thought it would be.

When we arrive in Panambi, the first thing we notice is a crowd of reporters in an alleyway. They all seem to be surrounding some police. I strain my ears, attempting to listen in.

"Another girl found dead this morning." One is saying. "Young Freohr Datia, age 17, was discovered to be dead of unknown cause on her front doorstep. Her parents had been out on their monthly date. Police say that an organisation dedicated to hunting witches, who are generally the cause of these unknown deaths, had been contacted over the victim from last week, Mayora Umi, and should be arriving shortly."

"We're here." Kitty says, approaching the scene. "We are the hunters the police contacted."

"Shouldn't we be a bit more... stealthy?" I ask Kitty.

"...Just trust me." Is her only answer.

Wait you mean... Oh....

So it's just a misunderstanding~

His name is Isaac, not Issac. But I told Anon he might get mad about that because everybody calls him Issac but it isn't Issac, it's Isaac. And now you've just called him Issac too... =o Poor guy never gets his name spelled right~

Oops, sorry.

I think it's mostly a result of how people's brains are wired, they expect a certain spelling and rarely notice if someone changes the spelling. Sorta like how Naughx specified that his name is spelled with a k. Then you have names like my surname (which I won't say for obvious reasons) that are easy to misspell out of sheer bizarreness.
