Soledai
And a needless introduction at that. Well, doesn't matter to me, I only felt like prodding a tiny bit.
MisterIceTeaPeach
Kilvas, because Naesala and the ravens FTW! BrightBow
I guess Greil Mercenaries, given that they are the good guys and all. And the Dawn Brigade is always the underdog anyway. Plus, siding with the Crimean Royal Knights or the Begnion Central Army has the downside that one would be death because Micaiah Robin'd them all. Well, at least the half of the Begnion Central Army that sticked with Sanaki. Edited November 11, 2014 by BrightBow

Parrhesia
Any chance you can get, eh? Greil Mercenaries, being a mercenary is something I've always liked. A mercenary[1] is a person who takes part in an armed conflict who is not a national or a party to the conflict and is "motivated to take part in the hostilities by the desire for private gain."[2][3] ... If, after a regular trial, a captured soldier is found to be a mercenary, then he can expect treatment as a common criminal and may face execution. As mercenary soldiers may not qualify as PoWs, they cannot expect repatriation at war's end. The best known post-World War II example of this was on 28 June 1976 when, at the end of the Luanda Trial', an Angolan court sentenced three Britons and an American to death and nine other mercenaries to prison terms ranging from 16 to 30 years. The four mercenaries sentenced to death were shot by a firing squad on 10 July 1976.[4] ... If one is proven to have worked as a mercenary for any other country while retaining Austrian citizenship, his Austrian citizenship will be revoked. ... In October 2007, the United Nations released a two-year study that stated, that although hired as "security guards", private contractors were performing military duties. The report found that the use of contractors such as Blackwater was a "new form of mercenary activity" and illegal under International law. Knight
Well that sounds terrible. Medieval/Renaissance mercenaries didn't have it so rough, hell, most of Switzerland's forces were mercenaries that other countries hired to serve alongside their own military and the Swiss used this to boost their economy. Also German landsknechts were similar to swiss mercenaries. These guys were paid big cause they were an effective force and these countries became famous for their mercenary armies.
