Brendor
I'm not sure I follow. Are you talking about a type of Slayer but for infantry instead of monsters? @Klok; like what? Klokinator
Not really sure, I was thinking of like abilities where a command comes up, like say 'stealth' for assassins, which gives +30 AVO and crit for a turn, but they can only use it if they end their turn without moving, etc.
Brendor
I'm not followingbrb new south park
Klokinator
Map command, like how "Dance" is an option for Dancers, "Staff" for staff users, etc. But custom new ones for skills.

circleseverywhere
Ooh, what it Berserkers had a "Hulk Out" option where they can get massive stat boosts+health regen at the cost of Berserk status for 3-5 turns? Alternatively have weapons like Duessel's cursed lance, that give you Berserk status when you hit an enemy.

Brendor
I mean it's doable but I dunno if the tradeoffs are worth it
Klokinator
Berserk status isn't that bad, especially if you get stat boosts and can control where/when it happens. You can send Berserker on a solo adventure and heal him long range with Physic if things get dicey, and in my example, he's not being doubled or taking much physical damage. He's also hitting way harder and doubling way more too. His only weakness is missing more and eating magic damage like nobody's business. Brendor
yeah I guess
circleseverywhere
Then you could make enemy healers try to Restore your Berserkers leaving them surrounded and underpowered.

Shadowflare
I'm not sure I follow. Are you talking about a type of Slayer but for infantry instead of monsters? Basicallly, except it activates on lances against mounted units if the unit that is using the skill hasn't moved that turn , sorta like Bishops with light magic against monsters. Brendor
sounds a bit too conditional to come in handy that often
Shadowflare
sounds a bit too conditional to come in handy that often Eh, I was thinking it'd be pretty useful so that the AI has some kind of advantage when they just sit still.
Jayvee94
Spare - At FULL HP, "fatal" strikes leaves Enemy's HP to 1. (basically a modified mercy) Well, you're not at full HP very often. Useful for training weak units with awesome growths.
Agro
... So your units have to be 1HKOing everything for that to be useful.
Jayvee94
Good for dodgy units though.
circleseverywhere
Twist Knife: Sort of like a reverse Wrath, +30 crit rate if enemy is below half health. Good for low level units to finish off weakened enemies, and stronger units get style points from lots of flashy unnecessary crits. Also adds personality to your character. Agro
Good for dodgy units though. No, it's literally useless unless your character is doing 23 damage to a 23 HP enemy or more. When does that ever happen? Especially in the early game. I'm pretty sure even FE7 Marcus is not doing that much damage with a silver lance against normal mode enemies... So, if the enemy is below half. As long as the USER is at full. It will activate.
Agro
That makes slightly more sense, but then why not just have an extra command for it?
Jayvee94
That makes slightly more sense, but then why not just have an extra command for it? It would be so easy that we need stat penalties to compensate. *the user is intentionally holding back*
