MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 4x part 2]To start with: This chapter was really hard.It took me three attempts and more than 4 h.I must admit I was very unlucky, but I also didn't play that intelligent in a few situations.I lost Lifis twice, because he got hit twice in a row with an abysmal hitrate. In the second attempt same happened to him.So this is the playthrough of my third attempt:Turn 1Player phaseThese knights aren't slow at all, when Havan can't double them. They've FE10 stats.Lifis moves towards the chest. Eyvel won't be used for the moment.Finn fulfills his role as a "Jagen" perfectly.Leaf will be sent on the front to counterattack the soldier with a javelin with his light sword.Enemy phaseNPC phaseThese NPCs do their job. Actually I should let act them more than I did it...[spoiler=Idk how to deal with them. I only think they must survive.]Leaf didn't talk to them! Turn 2Player phaseThanks to the NPC Othin can oneshot him. After then he takes Havan's swordreaver to have weapon advatange againnst the myrmidon.Eyvel moves into the treasure room to attract the first fighter inside.Surprising: Lifis can take him out.Finn weakens and Leaf and Asvel get the kills.Enemy phaseThis motherf**ker killed Lifis twice with his 26%.I blocked the NPCs so they couldn't do anything.Turn 3Four reinforcments arrived from the northwest: Two fighters, one myrmidon and one troubadour.Player phaseEnemy phaseLots of enemies are moving towards me.almostNPC phaseGrr...Turn 4Four reinforcements arrived from the northeast: Two soldiers, one myrmidon and one troubadour.Player phaseWhen I add Leaf's FE5 growths and Roy's sprite together, it was a decent level up.Finn can weaken enemies further.Enemy phaseThe second fighter in the treasure room can't hit him surprisingly.OUCH, OUCH, OUCHNPC phaseTurn 5Again four reinforcements from the northwest: Exact the same ones like in turn 3.Player phaseHavan must get out of here. The troubadour is just suicidal, but I can rescue her with Eyvel and Havan. The archer should survive.sweeteven more deliciousEnemy phaseMore free kills for Leaf and Asvel. One injured myrmidon runs back to the reinforcement troubadour.NPC phaseOne of the thieves in dead.Turn 6Same reinforcements like in turn 4 appeared in the northeast.Player phaseStrength and speed are excellent!I must risk it. I don't expect he'll get hit by an axe twice in a row again.Enemy phaseI knew it!I'm proud of you!Finn gives the reinforcements a warm welcome.Enemy phaseOk, I'll revise my choice! The NPC archer is still alive.NPC phaseThe NPCs are more than a helping hand.Turn 7NPC reinforcements. I guess they'll attract the upcoming reinforcements from the south.Player phaseAgain I must rescue this troubadour with Eyvel.Weak him so Leaf can kill him in enemy phase.bleh... and he already has oneEnemy phaseOk... I guess. He can't tank all that much.Good that she didn't crit.F**king troubadour. This situation is very difficult here. The right group has much more trouble, because there's no real tank and no healer. Eyvel sucks against the lances. And the NPC troubadour hasn't done anything yet.Turn 8The announced reinforcements arrived: Some of them are cavaliers.Player phaseHavan can kill one. Othin must use an elixir.[spoiler=Eyvel equips the slim sword now and uses a vulnerary.]Changing to the sword with the higher crit against this huge number of enemies wasn't very clever... better than the steel swordEnemy phaseHere are the reinforcements.Exactly what I feared.Welp... there goes "Miss shitty swordmaster Jagen".Surprisingly and thankfully it didn't cause me Game Over.I won't restart for her, because I don't give a shit to any (shitty) prepromoted units. R.I.P. Eyvel. At least you can't get stoned anymore.I've sacrificed Eyvel for a NPC troubadour, who has done absolutely nothing yet! LOL!NPC phaseAt least Othin and Havan should be able to take out the soldier and the archer. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 4x part 3]Turn 9Player phaseHis good speed growth doesn't surprise me. However other stats would be nice.Nevermind. I don't Eyvel anymore. This area is cleared. Only the troubadour is left.Steal javelin in the last chest. This hack has multiple types of javelins. The left area is almost fine.Enemy phasemore NPCs fallNPC phaseThe western area looks good...... while the reinforcements from the southeast wreck the NPCs, even if the archer did a lucky crit. When the archer falls, Lifis will get a serious problem!more kill stealingTurn 10Player phaseI know about your speed growth, but sth. else pls.!Can open the door now.You see more reinforcements from the northwest. Finn attract them.Enemy phasemehNow, they go for Lifis. BAD!NPC phaseHey, look! The troubadour does sth.!Turn 11Player phaseAlso the third wave of reinforcements in this area. No big deal, because Othin can OKRO the soldiers now.First enemy in Lifis' attack range. This cavalier has "only" an iron sword so he can take two hits. He uses the pillar to get the defense and evasion boost.Asvel misses once so Finn must kill.YESSSSSSS!!! The reason, why he's my favorite FE lord!Enemy phaseOthin shows his awesomeness.I guess it's his worst stat he got. Thankfully he has three vulneraries left.NPC phaseTurn 12A couple of thieves appeared.Player phaseLifis can survive two hits and can kill the cavalier in enemy phase. However the soldier could be a serious problem for him.The reason, why Othin is my favorite FE fighter.God damn it! The healers are a piece of shit so far.Enemy phaseLifis must get out of here at once!I want this!Idc that much for this. NPC phasethx!Turn 13No more reinforcements - hooray!Player phaseI think it's a brave lance. Would make sense, because it was part of Finn's starting equipment in FE5.His last vulnerary. He can survive one more hit. Lifis can't escape from him. He has one more movement, but the pillar will cost one. He'll be trapped.Enemy phasef**kNPC phaseThis NPC "steals" me the elixir. No big deal.Turn 14Player phasePanic button: Discard the steel swords to negate the weapon disadvantage. I must keep him alive somehow.Missed almost 50% of the chests and lost lots of swords.Enemy phaseIt worked! He can escape now! :)Turn 15Player phaseNow he can do what he can do best: escaping :Pmore speed and finally magicFinn will pull out all these knights.Enemy phaseNPC phaseanother crit - thx!Turn 16Player phaseLeaf's group will fight the boss, because the other group is too far away. Though I need Lifis who must steal his speed wing.Enemy phaseThe soldier, who almost killed Lifis. Meh level upLeaf can double the knights.Turn 17Player phaseFinn will attract more knights.Enemy phaseTurn 18Player phaseHis levels don't suck so far. Great defense. Only his speed could be better. He'll pull out all the enemies from the throne room.Enemy phaseNPC phaseTurn 18Player phaseHis levels aren't impressive at all.He doesn't level much, but always speed. Now he can double the boss, when he equips the hand axe.Enemy phaseNPC phaseStop it please! I'm pretty sure that they're going for the boss as well.Turn 19Player phaseEnemy phaseNPC phaseNow they only annoy me.Turn 20Player phaseIt took forever till this group reached the door.I take the speed at least.NPC phaseYup, the NPCs attack the boss. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 4x part 4]Turn 21Enemy phaseThe 4x archer is still alive.NPC phaseThe NPCs sacrifice for me. However the archer leaves.Just don't forget: I spared the troubadour at cost of Eyvel's life. Now I had to recuse Lifis and bring him to the throne room to steal the speed wing of the boss. It took me lots of turns.Player phaseLeaf won't get doubled and he can survive two hits.Enemy phaseCan't you dodge at least once!?NPC phaseThe 4x archer is back, but can't help me.Player phasePity! So Leaf must get the kill. If he only had more speed, he would be a beast. Nevertheless he's much better than I expected.Leaf gets the news about Seliph's victory. The big reunion comes closer. [spoiler=Chapter 5 part 1]StoryMore desert!?It's obvious who the prince and who the thief is.Shanan isn't the only one, who's looking for the balmung.Snap - long range magic crap!Battle preparationsFor this chapter you've access to the inventory of all your units. But you can only bring units of Seliph's party. So I can give some weapons from Leaf's to Seliph's party. Two units must be left home: Oifey and Johan. Johalva will be my main axe user till the point I can bring Othin or Havan.Fee increases her con to use heavier lances especially javelin with less AS penalty.Idk who to give the speed and skill ring. Will use them later. Still need 1-2 chapters to check all the stats of my units.MapChapter 5 is another desert mission. However this time it doesn't look too bad. No enemy ballistas and not as small paths as in the first desert map.EnemiesGenericsThe enemies consist of:All of them have iron or steel weapons. Some of the fighters and brigands have a hand axe as second weapon. A couple of them have special weapons:All the dark mages have jormungand, which kills almost each physical unit with two hits. Beware!BossSame goes for the boss. He's very powerful and magic users can't do pretty much nothing to him with his 21 resistance. Only fast physical units can take him out. He told in the introduction that he'll get an eclipse tome later. So he can become nasty with his long range magic.AlliesShananPrince Shanan is another prepromoted swordmaster. He has similar stats to Eyvel, but is six levels lower. So he has more room to grow. However it won't change the fact that I'll use Lakche as swordmaster. Shanan is the ticket to the boss.PattyPatty is a thief with expectable stats: high skill and speed, but poor strength and defense. Hopefully her strength will become better. At least she can steal from almost everyone with her base speed.Shanan has to protect Patty. He must deal with all these enemies. Since he's very powerful and has a very high crit chance, there's almost no chance that he'll let an enemy live for Patty. It's very hard to train her and most of the enemies don't have any goodies to steal.Turn 1Player phaseShanan talks to PattyWhy only he?groupierelic sword =/= balmungfooledShanan as babysitter confirmed. The relic sword is "only" a more accurate version of the steel sword. However it gives the user +5 resistance, when it's equipped.Like in any other desert chapters magic users have normal movement. My mages shall deal with the dark mages.Idk if there are any hidden treasures. Patty shall check out the area and avoid any contact with the enemies.Enemy phaseAll the four dark mages next to the boss move. Patty must get out of their attack ranges at any price. Thanks to the relic sword Shanan can take a few hits. Suddenly another dark mage appears. Salem, another FE5 character, appears. He has very solid bases overall. With his defense he can even take two physical hits. Hopefully his speed will rise. He's a bit overleveled so he'll be mainly used to weaken. [spoiler=Julia can recruit him.]How do I know that? Well, a friend of mine told me about it. Edited October 22, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach

MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 5 part 2]Turn 2Player phaseMost of the enemies moved automatically. Not the stats I really expected but fine. With his relic sword Shanan can take three hits. The RNG must absolute hate me, if he's going to die.Excellent! Could kill all the crap next to me.Enemy phaseGetting hit 1/3 is ok. Shanan will take out another dark mage in the next turn.Turn 3Player phasePatty moves towards the fort. One of the dark mages can attack her now. It's ok, because she can survive one hit.next timeNo enemies are close to my units except for the dark mage.Enemy phaseReally? That's bad, because he can kill in the next turn only with the risk getting killed.Salem moves. Julia can reach him in the next turn.Turn 4Reinforcements from the forts.Player phaseJulia talks to SalemSalem: Wait, is that...He, wait!Julia: ... Who are you?Salem: Me... I'm just a travelling mage. Got myself into a little conflict here. You seem to be going against mages here, right?Julia: Um... Yes, I guess...Salem: Would you happen to have some room left for one? I'm sort of skilled with a tome, if that helps.Julia: I'll ask. Please wait...Salem: To think that Naga still lived... Maybe hope isn't lost after all.Salem is member of my team now.He must work on his hitrates.Arthur must be resuced, because the brigand and the reinforcement shaman could kill him. I must let the damaged dark mage alive for another turn.No damage, he's safe.Enemy phaseExcellent! He can eliminate the last one of the pack in the next turn.28 damage in the face. Julia would get oneshotted! The enemies hurt you like trucks. It has FE10 hard mode niveau.Turn 5No more reinforcements. The boss still hasn't got his eclipse tome yet.Player phaseThe first real satisfying level up for her. The troubadour drops a physic stave.Defense can be quite useful I guess. She attracts another dark mage. The end of the shaman pack.Enemy phaseTurn 6Palyer phaseFee uses the fort to block reinforcements and to heal herself. This chapter is much more bearable to play than the first desert map. Probably because of my magic users. I can press forward pretty well so far.Enemy phaseThese reinforcements move towards Shanan and Patty. Maybe she can do stuff. She should be safe on the fort.Turn 7No more reinforcements.Player phaseSalem x Julia is a very successful combination so far.Arthur can kill him in enemy phase.Enemy phaseUgh... now, he gets Julia's levels... no, even WORSE!One of the few traps in this chapter: swordreaverNo, please NO!Turn 8OH DEAR! A bunch of cavaliers with a great knight boss appeared. The cavaliers have iron, steel and hand axe, iron and steel sword, iron and steel lance. The main problem is that my team is scattered. Currently I don't have enough good units to fight them all. I need fast and tanky units like Lakche and Ulster to deal with them. Furthermore I need Julia's alba (effective against cavaliers) and my healer. This will be very tough.Player phaseMore defense. Julia and her move towards the reinforcements. I'll need almost everyone.Arthur does his own thing.Enemy phaseI could run away from them, but I'm no coward! Want to get the experience.Turn 9Player phaseMy wall. Thankfully great knights have the same movement like cavaliers in the desert (one space). Lester, for being a bow knight, has two movement. He could flee easily in the next turn, if he'll get hit.Enemy phaseFinally Patty can do something.Salem can't fight anymore. He has no vulneraries.None of the cavalier reinforcements could attack me. They blocked even the boss, who could attack me with his 2 range tomahawk.Turn 10Player phaseMore speed - yes!Two cavaliers less at least. Thanks to the shitty one movement the boss can only attack Lester, who can do 10 damage back to him. Everyone will be fine!First speed point - miracle!Patty moves back to the fort and Shanan will fight the mainboss.Enemy phaseNo, thanks! Lester dodges. I think I'll be able to kill him in the next turn.only eight damage :(damn itTurn 11Player phaseFirst task: Killing the most dangerous enemy:Defeated with much pain! Julia gets another decent level, although the speed run is stopped already.Perfect time for a crit! Strength, please! Three enemies are left. Lakche could die, if all the enemies hit her. Hopefully it won't happen.

MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 5 part 3]Two fighters can attack Patty. I expect she'll dodge at least once.Shanan will kill the boss, because my other units have to fulfill other duties.Enemy phasePatty's first killExcellent! Idc for his non existing resistance.Only two are left.Turn 12Player phasePatty must get out of here! A crit would kill her. Thankfully she has one more movement for being a thief than the opponents.Bleh... her level ups are very mediocre so far.All the cavalier reinforcements are defeated! The chapter is almost done. Shanan will kill the boss and Seliph only has to seize.I don't hope anymore surprises are waiting for me. The boss still hasn't got his announced eclipse tome. Maybe only a thing in adults mode.Enemy phaseTurn 13Player phaseThankfully the myrm went to the fort. Patty can escape quite easily now.Enemy phaseTurn 14Player phaseOne crit could do it.Yup!typical wait, so you say you dont want to use shanan? I remember there was sth.Seliph only has to seize, but it still will take lots of turns. Fee has to help him.Meanwhile my units can gain more exp.:Oh dear...Julia kills some shamans and gets another level upHer excellent speed growth in this chapter relieves me. Now, I'm satisfied with her!On the other hand Arthur was a disappointment.OMG! She's on a speed role.A couple of conversations before Seliph will seizeSeliph x PattyPatty: Wow, it's Sir Seliph!Seliph: Huh? And who are you? Patty: I'm Patty, Shanan's girlfriend.Seliph: You're Shanan's girlfriend? Yeah, right.Patty: ... You got me. I used to be a thief, but I've given that all up. So I'm here to help you guys now.Seliph:You can't be serious. This is an army, it's no place for you.Patty: You sure about that? You guys have no money, right? But you need to have money to fight. That's where I come in. I can get you all the money you'll ever need! (It might be a reference to FE4. She a has skill, which allows her to get money from the opponent, whenever she attacks someone.)Seliph:: Yeah, but we don't want your money if it's stolen.Patty: Sir, where do you think the imperial troops get all their money? They steal it from the villagers! I'm just trying to get it back from them! And getting money isn't the only thing I can do.Seliph: ... I'm sorry Patty, you've got a good point. I think we can make room for you.Patty: Hm, really?! I promise I'll work as hard as anybody else!Seliph x ShananSeliph: Shanan! You're alright! Shanan: Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry to have worried you. I heared you took back Isaach while I was gone. I can't thank you enough, Seliph.Seliph: Don't forget, you were the one who gave use the courage to fight in the first place.Shanan: Hmmm... you're right. Hey Seliph, you're getting some muscle on you. You'd be just about...Seliph: What's that, Shanan?Shanan: Ah, nothing. Nevermind, Seliph.Seliph: Well anyway... Shanan, I'm going to take on the empire!Shanan: Haha... That's great, Seliph. I've been waiting for this day to come, too.Seliph: Well, I better get going. I'll see you later, Shanan. Finally Seliph seizes.Snap... Leaf is in trouble! We will save you, Leaf! [spoiler=Chapter 6 part 1]Leaf's heavily decimated army must wait for Seliph.Alster wants to prevent this reunion.mage douchesenemy #3The most effective way to bring somone to fight against its own will.Three foes are waiting for me!MapChapter 6 is probably the largest map in any GBA hack I've played yet. This map is giant and has lots of stuff to offer.Your party is split into two groups: Seliph's and Leaf's party. As for Seliph's party you can bring everyone except for two units. Oifey and Delmud are dropped. However Leaf's party consists of Leaf, Nanna, Finn and Asvel. They're forced. Everyone else is captured and can't be brought to this map.The two parties have different tasks.Seliph's army must take the very long way to reach castle Lenster and Leaf's party. There are tons of enemies to defeat:You must defeat the countries in this order. Darna Melgen Alster Leaf's group must defend against the enemies from Alster. Fin is the best unit to do it.Each country has a mini- and a mainboss.DarnaAresAres is part of Darna's cavalry. He's reruitable with Seliph. Be careful about his killing edge. It can ORKO most of my units.MinibossThe leader of the cavalry. He's very fast. No one can double him. Thankfully alba can do lots of stuff against him.MainbossA general, who only has a 1 range weapon. Easy to defeat with alba.MelgenMinibossMainbossTwo sages with similar stats. Not too bad since they don't have long range magic. Liza will probably move while Ishtor will be stationary on the throne.AlsterMiniboss IA paladin with not too amazing stats and weapons. Fin with the hero lance or Leaf with his light sword can do lots of damage to him.Miniboss IIA very powerful mage knight. Tornado will kill everyone with two hits.MainbossBlume is another mage knight. He's the master of destruction! Mjoknir (= rexbolt) will oneshot everyone! It's impossible to steal the hoplon guard and the leadership, because Patty isn't fast enough.[spoiler=How to beat him?]He'll leave the map soon and Kempf will become the mainboss and defend Alster's throne. All the other generics have standard weapons (iron and steel). One of Lenster's mercenaries has an armorslayer, but that's pretty much it. However two ballista archers have silver bows.NPCsThree NPC knight with very decent stats (nice speed) and a ballista archer, who try to help out Leaf. The knights are only will be canon fodder. There's no reason not to let them act.LuipoldNow I've an inventory. Luipold = Merlinus To clarify things:I've played FE4 only till chapter 3 yet.Watched a couple of LPs, but it's already > 2 years ago. My memories are gone.Actually this LP should be a replacement for my cancelled FE4 blind LP.So my knowledge about the FE4 story is pretty bad.I noticed in the beginning conversation that I must train Shanan, because he's the only one, who can use balmung. Desert level with cavalier spawns from the back... this seems like a rather long and uneventful chapter, I think it might be better as not-desert. Yeah, the cavalier reinforcements are sort of pointless. You can avoid them easily, because they only have one movement (including boss).I'm not sure, if this area / terrain is based on the story of the 2nd Gen of FE4.Haven't played it yet so I can't tell. However I agree that reinforcement mages would make more sense. Ansem
okay better question, have you played fe4? because if you didnt then your view of shanan makes sense Edited October 23, 2015 by :smug:
X-Naut
Yeah, the cavalier reinforcements are sort of pointless. You can avoid them easily, because they only have one movement (including boss). I'm not sure, if this area / terrain is based on the story of the 2nd Gen of FE4. Haven't played it yet so I can't tell. The cavalry are based on a group that was supposed to appear in Ch4 but were moved here and replaced with generics. And yes, this stage of the game in FE4 was desert. However I agree that reinforcement mages would make more sense. Do you really want to fight a group of desert racers bigger than the number you currently have. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 6 part 2]Turn 1Player phaseThere's not anything to do yet.Fin can take all the enemies from Alster all alone. He'll use the fort later to have the evasion + defend boost and to heal himself. Furthermore he'll visit all the villages. Leaf can take a few hits too, but he's too slow (despite giving him the speed ring before) to double all the enemies. However Idk, if the NPC knights will move automatically. If yes, they could give Fin more time to visit the villages.Enemy phaseAlster moves.Darna moves including Ares.NPC phaseYes, the NPCs act. Not a bad thing actually.Veld has a different mission for Blume.Blume leaves the map and Kempf takes his spot. Expectable, because Blume was impossible to beat with my current units.Turn 2Player phaseFin visits the first village:I see. FE12 + 13 shit in this hack.I became my least favorite class in FE, a knight. However this one doesnt suck. His base speed gives me hope. Independent if he's forced in this hack, I try to train him. It doesn't happen all that often that I train this class. This one deserves a chance not only because he has my name. However he'll pass the killer lance to Fin at once.Enemy phaseThis will be tough. This reminds me very much on FE4, where I often must fight a huge pack of enemies in one turn.Turn 2Player phaseFin visits the second village:It's Cyas from FE5, who gives Fin a physic.First tricky phase in this chapter:I must kill this pack of cavaliers including the boss. And I also must make sure that Ares can't do any stupidites with his killing edge. I can't prevent it that he'll attack one of my units. The first time I must hope that everything will turn out well. First I must kill the boss.Speed and it would be perfect for me.One huge problem less, but it was only 1/8 of the entitre cavalry.I must kill more cavaliers and make sure to have tanky units on the front.Even Patty is able to help out.At least the half is eliminated already. I only have to worry about Ares' killing edge.Jules gives his killer lance to Fin. He could oneshot Alter's miniboss.unfortunately notEnemy phaseAres prefers to have weapon advantage instead of taking to chance to kill someone. Good for me!Ok, I didn't expect that he'll crit twice in a row. Thankfully they survived the first critical situation. At least it's the stat he needs the most.one NPC lessNPC phaseone enemy lessTurn 3Reinforcements appear from the forts close to Darna's mainboss. They have iron and steel weapons.Player phaseSeliph recruits AresAres: You must be Seliph.Seliph: Huh? Do I know you?Ares: I'm the Black Knight, Ares. But you might know me better as the son Eldigan.Seliph: You're the son of King Eldigan?Ares: The very Eldigan your father murdered! My mother went to her grave with that over her head! How does that make you feel?!Seliph: But I thought our fathers were friends. I know things ended horribly, but I don't think our fathers ever resented each other.Ares: That can't be! Then I grew up believing the exact opposite to be true!Seliph: Ares, we need some time to work this out. Why don't you come with us for a little while? Look, I hold King Eldigan in the same high regard as my father did.Ares: I suppose I could tag along for a while and see where for a while and see where things go. But if I find out you've been lying to me, I'll gladly take your life in place of Sigurd's!Seliph: You do how you please. You just don't understand how ecstatic our father would be at us meeting like this!Hero lance can even oneshot without taking damage - excellent! Her speed literally exploded since the last chapter.Ares uses the fort to meet the first wave of reinforcements.Enemy phaseat least one killThere my knights go - excellent! Now time for a Fin-solo!NPC phasefirst victory for the ballista archerTurn 4Player phaseAlster sends reinforcements...... as Darna does. She blocks the reinforcements.Using the steel javelin to counterattack the boss.Leaf can support him a little bit.Enemy phaseThat's the Fin I expected!Oh, damn! Must kill the healer bit** first!NPC phaseTy!Turn 5More reinforcements from Darna.Player phaseYou healed the boss for the last time! It's ok. I know that he's not the fastest.Since Fin has equipped the hero lnace, the boss will go after him. Everyone else of Leaf's party is still out of his attack range.uselessDespite reinforcements I try to press forward a bit.Enemy phaseuntouchable on the fortHe regresses to old known depressions and I f**king hate it!!!Turn 6more reinforcements from AlsterPlayer phaseFIN FOR THE WIN!actually perfect level up!A terrible move! Ulster can be attacked by four enemies in the enemy phase and he can't take more than two hits. I must hope that the two axeusers will miss. This village will close after that event.Enemy phaseTurn 10Player phaseMore speed and the horseslayer are the reward. The other reinforcements didn't move, because no one was in their attack range.Fin visits another village:It seems to be that promotion items aren't specialized in certain classes unlike in the GBA games. Either Fin or Lakche will use it. I tend to give it to Lakche, because she has maxed out two stats already and I want to have an unit, who's able to double some bosses.buy lightning and healEnemy phasecalculatedAll the other reinforcements started to move surprisingly now, although they couldn't attack anyone of my units.Turn 11Melgen sends more reinforcements. Furthermore I must kill the two, who attacked me in enemy phase. My advance is stopped for now.Player phaseI've a frontline with Ulster, Lakche, Patty, Ares and Shanan. So none can be attacked by too many enemies. Ulster is healed.Enemy phaseexcellent!Turn 12more reinforcements!Player phaseI take the offensive.more strength, but still no resistanceDelicious, although she left out the most important stat for me.Wow! The level ups are great atm.[spoiler=I forgot sth. to do.]You'll see it in the enemy phase. Fin visits the village on the top left:Now I've two long range stave users. Cool!Enemy phaseI forgot to heal Ulster. He escaped death twice in this chapter and I don't want to test his dodging abilities one more time. I almost burnt my great level ups.PS: Fee was healed, but I could block her with two other units that she couldn't be attacked. So it wasn't really necessary to heal her.Turn 13It simply doesn't stop!Player phasemore great level upsFee shall get auto healing.Speed roll broken, but I can take it!>> I must replay Turn 13, because I overlooked someone accidently:Ths chick is a few spaces below these forts. Since she moves, she'll roast Fee.I've no idea, why I didn't notice her...That's the point, where I stopped playing. To be continued... Ansem
okay i have to object to you not using shanan because it is legitimately stupid. his growths suck but he makes up for it with his bases. also you cant give lackche the balmung
TheMoniker
This chapter seems really long, but also pretty cool. Chapters where you have to make it to a position defended by a smaller group of units are always interesting.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 6 part 4]Attempt #2Like I already told you, I did a mistake in Turn 13 by placing injured Fee in the attack range of the sage. So I had to replay this turn.Turn 13Player phaseIt starts with the same as in my first try: Patty kills this fighter and gets a good level up.However this time I must rescue her, because she's in two enemy attack ranges.Julia uses the forest to kill this soldier and gets a great level up for that. She'll deal with the archer and the couple of mages. This speed point allows her to kill all these enemies. Now, she's great... and I've almost written her off already!Turn 14Player phaseJulia will fight the sage too.Only her and the bosses of Alster and Melgen are left.Enemy phaseFrom a crappy to a godly unit!Turn 15Player phaseLakche gets another bosskill, but her level up is disappointing.poor levels atmI shouldn't complain about them, because most of them except for Seliph's were pretty good.Turn 16Player phaseA hint, I didn't understand in the beginning. However I think to know, what she's talking about. Will explain it later.Lester will deal with the boss.Enemy phasea little damage at leastTurn 17Player phaseShanan fails with my try to kill him in this turn. He gets rescued after that.Lakche can't survive two hits so she must wait. Maybe she'll get a lucky crit.Leaf's army moves southwards. There's still one more village to visit.Enemy phaseno crit :cTurn 19Player phasenoLarcei needs healing, if she misses.Another perfect level up for me. She'll get the masterseal first.Only Kempf is left (I don't care about the ballista archers). No more reinforcements will appear, so he's the last enemy on this map.Fin visits the eastern village:angelic robeYou see these walls? You can't pass them. This means you can't enter Alster without flyer.[spoiler=If you don't have Fee, you're completly screwed.]After reading the comments the walls come down, after you seized Melgen. I didn't, so the walls still stand upright. Furthermore I missed a recruitment by not bringing Arthur to this chapter. Since Fee is faster I use her to send Shanan (who will fight the boss) and Seliph (for seizing) to Alster.Leaf can talk to SeliphLeaf: Sir Seliph, it's an honor to make your acquaitance. I'm Prince Leaf of Leonester. Seliph: Prince Leaf! It's great to finally meet you. I'm glad to see you're not hurt.Leaf: I lost both of my parents in the Battle of Belhalla to Thracia. Following that Leonster was taken Blume's Imperial Guard. Fin kept me out of harm's way until we could rise up. Prince Seliph, please odd my troops to your army. I want to help restore Grannvale's glory.Seliph: Prince Leaf. People often say our fathers shared the same fate. Your mother was my aunt... They both gave their lives trying to help my father. Prince Leaf, I can't begin to express my sorrow to you.Leaf: I'm very proud of my parents. And I greatly admire your father for all he did. It's Emperor Arvis and King Travant I detest.Seliph: That's exactly how I feel. I want to respect our parents' last wish and restore peac. Do join us, Prince Leaf!Leaf: With all honor.Shanan can't take two hits by torando even with the relic sword. So he's going to use the killing edge to counterattack. Maybe he can ORKO him.Face mah killing edge!Goodbye! Two crits are enough. okay i have to object to you not using shanan because it is legitimately stupid. his growths suck but he makes up for it with his bases. also you cant give lackche the balmung I see. Well, balmung FTW!Seliph seizes.Support is coming. He found the prisoners.all together now again [spoiler=Chapter 7 part 1]Storysnow chaptersuspicionNo to that deal. It's obvious, what will happen.Thracia's reactionBattle preparationIn this chapter you've access to all the unit you've got. However you can only bring 14 units to this chapter. Seliph, Leaf and Fin are forced.I bring: Lakche Ulster Lana Julia Lester Nanna Asvel Patty Othin Havan Jules Fee I considered to bring Salem as a dark magic user instead of Jules, but the hitrate of dark magic is inaccurate. I need reliable units, so I dropped him. Othin and Havan are lower level than Johalva, but have already similar or better stats than him. Patty has is higher level than Lifis with according better stats. Arthur is my worst mage, so I kicked him out. And no to any prepromoted units.Fee gets the angelic robe and Julia gets the skill ring.MapChapter 7 is much smaller map compared to the last one, but not less interesting. It's a defend mission for 20 turns. There are three entrances to defend. The two doors in the north are unimportant so far. I don't know, if it'll change later. The enemies are pretty high level and have very good stats.EnemiesGenericsA few first tier enemies: All of them have about 15 speed so it's hard to double them. Furthermore they're powerful and tanky. There are a few prepromoted units. They're not so much better than the first tier enemies. Generals have almost as much speed as heros and mage knights have more defense than bow kinghts. 0_0 The hero drops a master seal.BossBoss is a great knight. He has similar stats and also a tomahawk like the miniboss from chapter 5. Sword users should be able to take him out. Alba can do nice damage too, but he can oneshot Julia. So only use it to give him the final blow. However easier said than done to reach him.GladeGlade is a great knight, who joins after the chapter has started. He has mediocre stats and weapons. The enemies, who are lower level than him, have similar or better stats than him. This chapter seems really long, but also pretty cool. Chapters where you have to make it to a position defended by a smaller group of units are always interesting. This map seize is based on FE4 one's.Each chapter has at least three foes, you must conquer their castles. It applies pretty much to this chapter, which features three different foes (Darna, Melgen, Alster).@SmugYes, I missed this sword. X-Naut
Actually, if you seize Melgen the walls come down... you'll miss out on Tinny and quite a bit of EXP for Jules by doing this.

MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 7 part 2]Since it's a snow chapter all the movement ranges are reduced. Flying units can move three spaces and non flying units only two spaces. In the beginning it only affects the foe, because my units are still in the castle. This will change in a few turns, when I'm going to press forward to the boss.Of course I try to beat him. Furthermore there are a couple of chests outside.Turn 1Player phaseStrength is nice. The south western entrance will be guarded by Othin, Havan, Fee and Lester. Lana is the healer here. Glade will support them later, because all my other units don't have a good defense at all. These thieves are going after the chests. Lakche can solo this area for a bit thanks to her high HP and defense. She'll be preomoted very soon anyway. She only need one more half level.Jules, Julia and Ulster will deal with the enemies from the east. However I'm considering to retreat and send them to the entrance (where Nanna is placed). So she could heal my units, who guard the southern and the eastern entrance. And all my units would be closer together.Enemy phaseNot so much is going on now. It'll change very soon, because almost everyone moved towards me.Turn 2Player phaseLakche can easily survive the two axe users.Jules' first kill. He won't do much in this chapter. He needs defense so badly. He can't even take two hits by a few enemies.a bit pokingPatty is only here to get the treasures.Enemy phaseUnfortunately a bad final level up as a myrmidon. It's ok, because she was fantastic so far.Turn 3Player phaseThese enemies are damn fast. A nomad trooper is my attack range. He has 17 speed, which means that even Fee can't double him. He'll be a toughie. Retreat is the consequence.Lakche's promotionNow she's even more awesome. Hopefully she'll keep her great level ups.Jules will deal with this cavalier. Everyone else retreats.Enemy phaseSomehow I miscalculated his attack range. Thankfully Lana had enough speed not to get doubled.Turn 4Player phaseThankfully Glade could reach this group in time and helped to defeat the nomad trooper.increases resistance Lakche goes back to the castle so Nanna can heal her.Enemy phaseEven my fast Fin with the hero lance (= brave lance) can't double him.16 damage by the longbow!!!Turn 5no reinforcements yetPlayer phaseepic critical out of nowhereMy second level 20 unit. Unlike Lakche he gets a great final level up. However must wait for his promotion. It'll last some turns till I can fight the hero with the droppable master seal. His last kill, because there aren't anymore enemies in the east. His level up isn't great either.Enemy phaseTurn 6still no reinforcementsPlayer phaseThe mage knight is gone. One nasty enemy less.alrightbleh... His current speed is very problematic, because some of the enemies can double him.I mean I can take it. Speed is already maxed and strength is the only stat I'm really looking for.Enemy phaseTurn 7announcement of reinforcements. I've the bad feeling that they won't appear from the south. Player phaseSlow but steady I can press towards south. The only problem is that I don't have a healer. Nanna doesn't have the rank yet to use physic. And her healing range is terrible anyway (10 magic = 5 range). So I can't attack blindly with Lakche and Fin all the time.OMG! 80% of the level ups are utterly garbage so far.Actually I'm really glad to have Glade. He can tank a lot.Enemy phaseFin, pls!another promotion item. I think I'll get this one for Fin earlier. He just must survive. Easier said than done, though.Turn 8Oh snap! These are Thracia's reinforcements: dracos. And one of them is a lord. On the one hand they're not as tanky as I expected, but on the other side they're not slow. Magic is the key to beat them.Player phasealready gambling time. I must take a few risks here to come through southwards quickly before more reinforcements will arrive. That's what I meant with his speed problem :/Idk, if Lester can use it. Don't have an archer yet.Enemy phaseThere he gets doubled. Wonderful! :/The dracos move towards the south western entrance. Actually good, because I've all my axe users there.Turn 9Player phaseanother little risk here: Damaged Lakche will get attacked by three enemies. She can die, if everyone hits her. This area is very deserted. However it'll change soon. The western group moves back inside the castle to wait for the dracos.Enemy phaseThe fighter couldn't reach her.grr... X-Naut
Hoo boy this chapter. This is one that's noticeably more difficult on Adult's mode; for one, there's an added Warrior on the left side of the map with 19 Str/18 Spd and he's a nightmare to deal with without Shanan. And he doesn't appear until after the prep screen. There might be additional enemies but that's the one that immediately stood out.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=chapter 7 part 3]Turn 10I knew it! Reinforcements from the north. A pack of cavaliers including one paladin. They have all three melee weapon types. A few of them have 2 range weapons. Don't get confused by the closed door. They have door keys to open them. They're not a huge problem. One unit just has to tank them. Leaf with his good defense is a good contender. Jules would get doubled by the paladin. Too bad Fin has the horseslayer and is way too far away of them.Ah... no strength or defense.Nanna heals Lakche so she can survive the upcoming enemy phase. She gets a pretty good level up for that. All the stats he needs.Asvel is a disappointment so far. Only his speed saves him. However Julia does with one attack as much damage as Asvel does with two.Seliph gets the master seal and a great level up.Speed is essential for survival. All the stats she needs.Jules will block the cavalier reinforcements.Enemy phaseHonestly I expected her evasion would be better. Over 60% by a mage isn't low at all.At least Othin can double the axe knights, who have a bit AS penalty with their steel axe.In the next turn the dracos can attack me.Turn 11no reinforcementsPlayer phaseI must kill the fighter instead of the mage. If I attacked the mage, Nanna or Asvel could get attacked and killed by two enemies (fighter and archer). Not bad at all, but it'd be a really good time for speed.Othin and Glade are my frontline.Enemy phaseGlade is actually pretty damn good as a wall against them. He can even double a few of them.He prefers to attack my high res. units for some reason.Turn 12second wave of dracoknights + one wyven lordPlayer phaseCan only promote him, when I don't need him for attacking. This area looks pretty good so far. There are only two enemies on the way to the boss. One of them is the hero with the master seal. Lakche will fight him in enemy phase. These guys will be busy for the next rounds. The enemies are an experience goldmine for my units.Changed my plan. Leaf will tank the cavaliers. He does more damage with his light sword and can counterattack against 2 range weapons very well.Enemy phaseShe's so awesome now aside of defense.Lakche gets the master seal. The dracos aren't too bad thanks to weapon advantage.Turn 13no reinforcementsPlayer phaseOthin, you disappoint me in this chapter!Onle three stats, but important ones. His levels are better than Othin's.Damn it, Leaf! You were so good as yet.Since I opened the entrance, Jules must block it. Otherwise Asvel would get a serious problem.Fin's promotionHe has the same promotion gains as Lakche (probably everyone has the same). He still can only use swords and lances.Enemy phaseTurn 14no reinforcementsPlayer phaseJules pokes and Leaf blocks. He can easily take two hits by the paladin. However he doesn't attack, because there's a troubadour among them.A few of the dracos decided to go after Lakche's and Fin's group. Fin with the killer lance will impale them hopefully. The first wave of dracos is eliminated. Now they can take a little breath.Enemy phasecrit #1 + crit #2ouchTurn 15no reinforcementsPlayer phaseSecond wave of dracos is on the way. However a less number this time, because a few of them found their death in Fin.Glade can poke one of them at least. He and the two fighters block them.Leaf killed the paladin. 15 defense! He's really good overall, though I helped him with his speed a little bit.The way to the boss is free now. Only reinforcements can foil me.Enemy phaseThe twinfighters become better and better at doging. Although I'm playing it only on "normal" mode, the stats of the enemies (except for the second tier units) almost remind me on FE6 HM. However the crucial difference is that the growths are much better than in mentioned game so my units can deal with them much easier. Honestly I didn't find chapter 7 too bad. If you only focus on defending, you should be fine. If you're going for the exp., chests and the boss, it'll become tricky in some points because of the large number of enemies and reinforcements. I took a few risks in this chapter to get the maximum. [spoiler=@ ] Too late! I know what will happen when he survives. After knowing it I didn't regret at all that I killed the boss. It was it more worth than to have a good weapon for an unit I don't want to train anyway. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 7 part 4]Turn 16Why now? Reinforcements from the south, who want to hinder me to pull out the boss in this turn.Idc. Fin will attract the boss. Maybe he won't even move. I also don't know, if this mission ends early when the boss is dead. The fighter can attack Seliph or Julia.2 range sword. Not very powerful, but still nice to have against range weapon users.at least speedtwo important stats - acceptableThe entrance is open now. The draco will attack Lana or Lester. So many stats, but still no magic. If Julia's speed will be maxed too in tier 1, Asvel will land on the bench. 10 magic isn't enough by far.Enemy phaseThe boss moves.Seliph has a serious problem now. He can't take one more hit and can't kill him in the next player phase. Of course I could use Lakche, Fin and Julia to kill him, but I need them to kill the boss.Lana dodges.Turn 17Player phasePoking the boss a little bit.I could solve this problem. Seliph uses the forest to get the defense boost. If he gets hit again, he'll survive with 1 HP. The boss can attack Lakche, Fin and Julia.Jules can kill sth. This area is cleared for now. Even if more reinforcements will appear from the south, they won't reach them in time anymore. Halvan moves southwards to attrack the nomad. Maybe I can even kill the thieves.niceEnemy phaseAAHHH... that was STUPID! I almost lost Julia. I forgot she took damage when she attacked the mage. I'm a lucky bastard again! She can barely take one shot by the tomahawk at full health.better that way than the other wayTurn 18Player phase[spoiler=first problem redressed]I've read that I shouldn't kill the boss to get the balmung (and a sidequest?). Honestly Idc for the balmung, because I don't use Shanan anyway and I like to kill as much as possible. Next problem: Seliph can kill the fighter, but he'd be in the attack range of the archer. Nanna can't reach him with her physic stave. So Fin has to rescue him.uselessEnemy phaseTurn 19more dracos: They don't bother me at all. A few could reach Lakche in the next turn, but she won't have any problems to deal with them. This chapter is almost done.Godthanks Nanna's physic can barely reach Seliph. He's safe now.So this archer won't be a problem for me anymore.two best statsEnemy phaseTurn 20 / final turnTwo more kills for Julia: The cavalier in the player and the draco knight in the enemy phase. Thanks to Ulster's miss even Patty can kill someone in this chapter.Pity! At least the thief didn't drop anything so it's not too bad.Enemy phase:( At least one more speed point till level 20, please!Chapter 7 is done! Not even survived for 20 turns, but also killed their leader. Although I was very lucky that no one bited the dust.[spoiler=Chapter 8 is done already.]Maybe I missed a recruitment. Not quite sure about that. [spoiler=Chapter 8 part 1][spoiler=Sounds scary]Actually there's no more fitting title name for this chapter. I must fight the mage queen herself.snowy conditions and FoW => reminds on chapter 19a from FE6Seliph is spotted.Map (you can only all these enemies with a thief)Chapter 8 is another snow chapter, which means reduced moving range for everyone. However this time you also have to deal with FoW. So bringing both thieves isn't a bad idea, because I don't have a torch. It's another surviving mission. This time only for 10 turns. The boss is Ishtar, who has mjolnir. I'm pretty sure she's not beatable.According to my units the enemies become tougher and tougher. A level 15 soldier with 16 speed is sth. you won't see in any other FE part, not even FE10.Turn 1Player phaseThe first target is to seize the two forts to get the boosts and to block any reinforcements. Fee will fight the soldier and mage.Patty can see more enemies. Another soldier and mage and an archer with very high strength.Enemy phasebetter not fighting herher spotTurn 2Player phase A couple of pegasus knights are in my field of sight. They're not too tough. Their speed is low compared to other classes. Skill is maxed. Also the other stats look good aside of defense. Fee only hits once. I can seize the forts in the next turn. Patty can find more enemies: mercenary, fighter and cavalier Enemy phase not quite enough 82% misses twice. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 8 part 2]Turn 3Player phaselots of enemies herePatty can be attacked by two enemies. But the forest should save her life.Fee pokes and gets healed after that. Othin and Lakche seize the forts.Enemy phaseHe's the physical version of Asvel. Great speed, but not that much else.Turn 4Lots of enemies including a fighter reinforcement from the fort. However you can turtle with only two units on each side.Player phasePatty gets a decent level up just for stealing. Fin's weapon is changed to a sword.no critLakche leaves the fort. Ulster takes her spot.My units are fine. No one can get attacked by more than two enemies. This chapter works very well so far.Apparently reinforcements arrived from this fort too.mehEnemy phasecritbaby damageThree physic stave users. One of them isn't in my field of sight yet.Turn 5Player phaseFin continues with his awesomeness and Patty gets another kill.Leaf is a speed knight.Lester sees a fighter. Hopefully the only enemy, who can attack him.The troubadours are down. At the top left is a mage knight: The third physic stave user. Can't kill him. Nanna uses physic on Lakche.Enemy phaseSeriously?! At least she continues leveling wella falcon knight from nowhereTurn 6Player phaseshitThe enemies hit me very well with their abysmal hitrates.I'd prefer strength over defense but I can take it, I guess. The level ups are as "great" as the hitrates of the enemies.Unfortunately Patty hasn't enough strength and speed to kill him. Therefore she uses a vulnerary.Fee can double him. She's the only one, who can reach him anyway. He's on a hill. Lakche puts him out. She can counterattack with the wind sword.Enemy phaseWasted two uses of the wind sword. At least she gets a level up for that, but leaves out strength and defense again.Turn 7This chapter isn't really exciting so far. Only three turns are left and nothing much exciting has happened yet.Player phaseexcellentThe western area is cleared except for the mage knight. Reinforcements appear from the southern fort. Now I can move towards east. But I must be careful about Ishtar. Idk, if she'll move. I think she'll destroy my units.Enemy phaseFour enemies could attack Leaf. He could ORKO two pegasus knights, who had massive as penalty. His level up was awesome.almost oneshottedShe needs healing, I guess,Turn 8Now, it becomes interesting: Tons of enemies including a great knight. Full healed Leaf with his high defense can tank all of them. Player phasenot goodnot enough - he might run awayOthin kills the mage knight. He's the ultimate axe myrmidon.Enemy phaseanother good level up - However his light sword is running out slow but steady.Turn 9Player phaseThe great knight is down. Leaf gets healed and will tank once more.really mediocre and really goodEnemy phase[spoiler=Oh... hello!]I didn't expect you here. It's only a little electro shock....WELP!!!That's the worst way to end an episode.Well, I must do it again next time. X-Naut
Yeah, that's the problem with Ishtar: you really need extended vision range if you're not going to turtle the eastern front. If you had Tinny you could talk to her and make her stop attacking...
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 8 part 3]Time to do it again...Turn 9I'll survive the final two turns somehow.Player phaseI must retreat! Leaf takes the forest above of Lana, who heals him and goes out of any enemy attack ranges. I must hope that Ishtar can't move so far.The punishment for my restart: by far worse level upsEnemy phaseGood, no Ishtar anymore.Turn 10 / final turnPlayer phaseLester can kill the great knight and gets a fantastic level up. Now everyone except for Glade must move back as far as they can. Maybe the enemies will block Ishtar. Too bad that I didn't get Tinny by my own fault and sent Patty to a wrong area.Enemy phaseTo the bench with you!Lucky! Ishtar can't reach Glade.Pointless level up for him. Tbh I didn't expect sth. better than that.Roasting one of my lords was already enough....delayed... at least for nowobviousHopefully same goes for her. She must pay for my Game Over. This chapter wasn't very exciting tbh. However I'm pretty sure that I left out some good stuff (again). It was probably only a test how to deal with snowy condtions and FoW at the same time. For a survive mission it wasn't too bad (except for the Ishtar part). [spoiler=Chapter 9 part 1]Meanwhile inBlume gets the "sad" news that Ishtar is gone alongside with mjolnir. Now I can kick his ass for real.MapChapter 9 is an indoor mission. There are two paths to go. The left one features lots of knights, so send mages and hammer after them. Also send a thief for the chest in the bottom left area. For the right path send fast units against the myrms. The enemies don't suck at all.Enemies First tier genericsSome of the enemies have maxed stats. Most of them have steel weapons. A very few of them (peg. knights and soldiers) have slim weapons or javelins.Second tier genericsThey have only slightly better stats then the first tier enemies. There are a few droppables: killer lance, killing edge, master sealBlumeBlume is heavily nerfed. He has still the same stats like he had in chapter 7, but he lost his mjolnir and has only a thunder tome now. Some units can take two hits from him. However he's still fast and has a high evasion. Patty with maxed speed could steal his elixir. Since he's a mounted unit the horseslayer, vitanova and alba can do effective damage to him. However alba isn't very useful because of the weapon disadvantage and Blume's high resistance. If Leaf or Seliph take his spot, you'll win this chapter.Turn 1Player phaseKilling the thief in the first turn gives you much more time to get after chests.Lakche must be sent to the east. She can ORKO all the enemy myrms with her high speed.my formationEnemy phaseAU!OUCH!!!This enemy phase hurt me quite a lot.Turn 2Player phaseYeah, I brought Salem to this chapter. I decided to train a dark mage. He's way more useful than Jules because of 2 range attacker and higher movement. First level ups shows me that he wants to stay in my team.Idk how many times he got this level up.betterFin can poke all these knights.Patty needs as many levels as possible.Seliph and Havan gets healed.Enemy phaseAll these knights move. 20 damage to a mercenary with a decent defense isn't bad at all. You must take care who to send on the frontline. He looks sort of familar.good boyBAD BOY! recruitment hint Faval Faval is a prepromoted sniper with non typical prepromoted stats. His strength, skill and speed have almost the highest possible stat for his level. A great offensive unit and I tend to use him in the longrun, because I don't have an archer anyway. He's recruitable with Patty, so you must bring her to this chapter. He'll appear as an enemy in turn 3 and will move towards you automatically in enemy phase. So hopefully he'll go for the path, Patty is placed. In my case the left path. Edited November 15, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
