Dark Holy Elf
Ten bucks says that Orochi's dialog is played for double meanings such that the player isn't sure if it's torture or sexual. Not sure what I think about that. Could be some good black comedy if done well, or could just be awkward.
Flying Shogi
Thanks for the translation! Such quickness. I could be reading it wrong but it seems like the more you forge your weapons, the less the side effects affect you. Don't know if anyone's mentioned this already or not but Pieri's description has a typo. "Where" is missing an "e" at the end. Or both, both is a very real possibility. Also do I need to break out my cheep trumpet 70's Porno music because I will.

I think it's suggesting by upgrading a weapon, you start to "balance" its weaknesses. Like a Steel Sword is harder to double attack with. OK. Just keep boosting its Might to make up for it. Flying Shogi
Makes sense. Since the weapons no loner break, the money spent on replenishing weapons in previous games can be spent forging. I just remembered but I don't see a limit to how much you can forge it. I assume it'll be in the bottom screen in the game Edited June 10, 2015 by Magician Lugh
Jotaro Kujo
Thanks for the translation! I was kinda hoping we couldn't pet our siblings but oh well, no use in crying about it now I want to know what Zero's methodology is gonna be. Since he's a sadistic dude I hope it's nothing short of Kamui hearing the pained/terrified screams of the inmates. I wonder if we can do more with Lilith outside of My Castle? I highly doubt it but it would be pretty cool to have that cute little thing following me around all the time.
Kirokan
Pieri's skill states that it gives +1 to Str, Spd and Skill. Wasn't it supposed to be +4? I thought the 1 in parenthesis referred to how many turns it lasts. Sorry I missed this! Thanks for pointing out the post, egobarrier. Fixed! Probably misread the 4 as a 1 due to the 1 turn thing : ) No, it's been further broken by changing "Nohr" to "Hoshido." I'm sorry please don't hate me. Though Black Mage's point about Pieri's skill is more important. xD Fixed that too! Don't feel that way! I appreciate all the time you take to point out mistakes : ) Thanks for the translation! Keymaker
I don't really understand the dialogue. Is it true that Oboro had sex to convince the generic dude to join the army?
Awakener_
I don't really understand the dialogue. Is it true that Oboro had sex to convince the generic dude to join the army? DualMix
I don't really understand the dialogue. Is it true that Oboro had sex to convince the generic dude to join the army? Depends on how you interpret it. Could be Orochi(Not Oboro) torturing him or it could be sex or perhaps something else entirely. I mean there are much more suggestive things then that, like in Conception 2 where you could preform this ritual and, basically it showed the naked female character for a few seconds. Reset
Seems like Zero is Nohr exclusive after all and a subordinate of Leon huh? I didn't think he'd be the sadist though.
Neoleo21
IS has quite the obsession with sexual innuendo. Fe: if is probably the most innuendo I've seen out of them in awhile though. And yes nintendo doesn't care unless the game isn't fun to play.
Keymaker
But I thought people are saying Hoshido is the traditional and conservative culture empire. Why would a women (orochi) of good standing casually offer sex to convince others to join army?
nordopolica
But I thought people are saying Hoshido is the traditional and conservative culture empire. Why would a women (orochi) of good standing casually offer sex to convince others to join army? Look, why are you expecting any of us to know? For all we know, it's just some fun implications like "oooh, is she - No, she wouldn't." She has been described as a playful woman, so she could just be teasing. We'll probably never find out. It's just a fun side-event like all those in Awakening which have no bearing on the overall tone of the actual story, nor her character. Kyza
Why are people immediately jumping to sex? My guess is she's simply teasing him, persuading him through use of her 'feminine charm', it's not that different from what Charlotte does, making her boobs pop out and being all polite/flirty in order to manipulate men. Edit: Also damn, not Owain is sexy as fuuuu- *ahem* he's very good looking. Edited June 11, 2015 by Kyza
BlueL
I noticed that myself. I think it's suggesting by upgrading a weapon, you start to "balance" its weaknesses. Like a Steel Sword is harder to double attack with. OK. Just keep boosting its Might to make up for it. I think it's kind of like they want you to be able to have custom weapons for as many units as you can afford. Kind of jibes with what they said about wanting us to focus more on what kind of weapons to chose. We've already seen a number of characters with special weapon (Rinka's fire axe/mace, Felicia's ice knives, Takumi's light bow & arrows), although who knows if they're character exclusive or just weapons with elemental magic attached. I don't really understand the dialogue. Is it true that Oboro had sex to convince the generic dude to join the army? .... All jokes aside, I think at worst she's just using her sultry outfit to capture the male unit's eyes while playing with her top. More than likely she's just doing some cute poses and seductive talk. I don't really think she'd be asking "where they're looking", let alone talking so much, if she was actually doing something physical with the prisoner. Not to mention all the health, moral, and social consequences of recruiting units with sex. Edited June 11, 2015 by BlueL

redtutel
I hope the connection between Lazward, Odin and Luna and Inigo, Owain and Severa will be explained. At least in support conversations or something. Maybe one of them could say "I come from somewhere...pretty far," or allude to their parents or something. Once again, Charlotte proves to be the bane of Tumblr. Orochi's persuasion methods might get a little awkward if she gets married (that is, assuming marriage in general comes back, and it's not just Kamui who can get married. Shipping Simulator > Waifu simulator).

IS said that this game had no connections whatsoever to the Awakening universe, dammit.... I mean I like their designs but if they start using Outrealms or something to explain it then I will be disappointed. EDIT:I'm just nitpicking though. If Orochi is married to Kamu or has a romantic relationshipi, then it'll suck cause Kamui watches them. Or at least hears it happen. That'll put a strain on the relationship. goodperson707
Hey using the word everything is kinda offensive in my opinion...I take everything literally and pretty much no one is actually referring to everything (as in everything ever) when they use the word. So i am offended by your mis-use of the word everything. ;)
