RandomSwordmaster
Moniker Sanity Index: Annoyed at Anna for making a 5% hit. With a devil axe. Also, you might need a GhebFE plague cure. Xtremekiwi
Oh you got hit by a 5? That's cute. I have no screenshots, but I had Guy miss a 96 on Lloyd in Light. It damn near killed me as I was only just able to finish off Lloyd afterwards before he started to massacre my squishier units with his swordmaster hax. Oh, right, the hack itself...erm...yay Glass for getting decent levels? Morva for being a beacon of (relative) sanity?
TheMoniker
Well, hopefully this update will entertain you all until later today. Happy New Years! Uh...naaaaah, no, they probably just...mis-person-gave the text, or something. Yeah, I just remembered now that Kiwi speaks in third person. Wow, a level sixteen pegasus knight with only 9 speed? Pathetic! Step up your game, Gheb FE! It's almost as the bad as the pegasus knights the game gave ME! You gotta get to a point in your life, if you're Moniker, at least, where you look at yourself in the mirror, and it hits you that you'd rather have a gigantic zombified dragon monstrosity around than Myrrh in this game. *Sigh* it's true... Morva will probably do far better in this thing's "story" than Myrrh. Was that movie even out yet? I mean, probably, but I don't know. Yeah, probably, but like the "Shoop Da Whoop" reference it is BEYOND antiquated. Time to do SOMETHING in... The CHAPTER 16 PRELUDE! After all this time, we're finally going back to the castle we started in. The story wasn't explicit, but remember what Gheb said back then? "My soldiers will handle it!" We'll see. First, though, the world-map shop version of the shop from the last chapter has some cool stuff. Oh, man. Looks like my stock is full. Now I have to sell all my old crap! But enough of that. I've decided we've waited long enough to do this, it's STATBOOSTER TIME! Selena needs this EXTREMELY badly, or she'll die to a swift breeze. Gerik has a good shot at maxing strength, but now it's a BETTER shot. To be honest, I might just drop Riev. Maybe this was a waste. The endgame approaches, and I can't have anyone but the best with me. I can't be carrying around a lord who dies to siege tomes! Sure, he'll be promoted soon, but still. 7-Mov generals are the best. And of course, there's always a few extras. N: Unbeknownst to them is what you can only call madness. But I thought we were ALREADY in madness? Glass: What happened here… Gheb: I thought my men would handle it. She did, too. Kiwi: Kiwi is so sad, this is the first time he’s seen his schmexyness’s HQ… and it’s in this condition… Gheb: Who fucking did this… will pay… dearly. It would be nice if we got a bit of "show not tell". All we know is that the HQ has been filled with red people. Glass: Surely Gleb’s work… Gheb: Graah!! That douchebag! That fucking douchebag! This is simply unacceptable. GHEB saying something is UNACCEPTABLE? What? L’arachel: I have to give him something… Gheb: Hmm? MORVA!! Gheb: The whore has to give you something. What is it whore? L’arachel: Yes… Here. Morva: !! This… This is… It better not be! Gheb: You whore!! L’arachel: Yes… You see… I knew there would be a time where it would become useful. I kept it cuz it was the nicest looking one. I then realized this is what powers the zombies… well, the powdered form of these rocks. I just don’t want to lose such cute creatures. Teehee. Gheb: What the fuck is wrong with you whore?! Morva: I understand… So... do we get a REAL one later? L’arachel: But it will restore some of your power. Morva: Yes… It is working. Gheb: This is fucking awesome whore! L’arachel: Maybe… Remember what we talked about, Morva. Teehee! Morva: Indeed. Gheb: Wut? What did you talk about? Raep? L’arachel: Teehee… no. Gheb: Wait! Without waiting, we cut straight to the inner chambers of Renais castle, or whatever this place was called. Seth! You guys remember him, don't you? He appeared in 2 scenes, one as a mindless extra, and the other where he got killed... by... Valter... WAIT A MINUTE. Lute: And how you got to even stand there? … Seth: Yes. I owe it all to you. Lute: Good. Now, I heard the glorious news that Valter was taken down. Doesn’t that make you ecstatic? Seth: Valter… I’ll have my revenge. Lute: Yes you will. But first things first. I need you to keep this place free from Gheb while I go look for those Sacred Pebbles. Enter Ephraim and... probably Natasha! White generic: You know… that purple haired girl? Whiter generic: Yeah? White generic: She’s a bitch. A huge bitch. The place to be saying this is of course RIGHT OUTSIDE the room that she's in. Whiter generic: I know. White generic: I heard, that she got a bad beating. They said she died. And look at her now. What the fuck, you know… Whiter generic: I know… Natasha: Neither of you should be alive… Seth: Hmm… Natasha: Nevertheless… you will both prove useful. Gleb is becoming tired of failure. Do not fail.. Being revived from the dead makes you jaded, I guess. Seth: I will not. Trust me. Natasha: Yes… Okay, let me explain. I'm not sure if this is EVER explained properly, but basically, Gleb's team has magic "revive killed dudes from the dead" abilities now. Yeah. Ephraim: No need, Natasha. Only 3 Sacred Stones remain, and once they’re all gone. Nothing will stop us. Neither Gheb nor any traitor. These are all just pawns. You and me are both pawns. I thought it was 2 sacred stones? Frelia's is gone, Jehanna's was destroyed on-screen, and Grado's... wouldn't that have been the FIRST gone? Natasha: True… Ephraim: Let us depart. We’ll get our chance at victory soon. Natasha: … END DIALOGUE Hopefully we get a lot of units! Nope. This is what we have to work with. (Notice that I totally forgot Morva. I'LL SHOW HIM OFF NEXT CHAPTER) Since we're on Gheb's second half of the story, we spawn here. If we had made Glass's half canon, we would be crazy far away from the castle at the start. Plenty of enemies around, but all in all they're pretty spread out and shouldn't be too big a problem. I guess now the Remnants are another name for Gleb's elite pawns? Wait... that name? Um... what? There are a LOT around the map. No really. A lot. One of which is using a monster weapon. I don't think they're any different from normal generics either. We don't really need any of this stuff. The Red Gem and Purge would be nice to have, though. See this guy? Hack-maker forgot to edit him. Poor little thing. Seth is not only no longer a Paladin, he actually looks TOUGH. Or he would, if it wasn't for the whole "19 speed and can be stolen from" thing. Will the hack-maker NEVER learn!? Ooh, I can't wait to take face up against this thing! NEXT TIME: Getting our castle back. (Yes, I KNOW I should have included Morva, but I forgot, okay!? I'll show him off next time!)
AnonymousSpeed
It would be nice if we got a bit of "show not tell". All we know is that the HQ has been filled with red people. GHEB saying something is UNACCEPTABLE? What? They probably did something pleasant, like put in potpourri, or get a black light and bleach everything, or something. Seth! You guys remember him, don't you? He appeared in 2 scenes, one as a mindless extra, and the other where he got killed... by... Valter... WAIT A MINUTE. Being revived from the dead makes you jaded, I guess. It's probably the dying part. Okay, let me explain. I'm not sure if this is EVER explained properly, but basically, Gleb's team has magic "revive killed dudes from the dead" abilities now. Yeah. That doesn't even fit in this game, since we're not fighting actual zombies, just walking metaphors. Hack-maker forgot to edit him. Poor little thing. I like this guy! You probably already killed him, but if not not, steal his spear and leave him alive!
TheMoniker
They probably did something pleasant, like put in potpourri, or get a black light and bleach everything, or something. Maybe they just scrubbed away all the crap around? That movie was great. I like this guy! You probably already killed him, but if not not, steal his spear and leave him alive! Aww, you're right, I should have done that! Next time I see a random weapon-less generic, I'll Spare him. Time for a LONG update in.... GhebFE: Episode 20: Chapter 16: Reinforcement Castle Kiwi goes at the front of the pack. First, we need to kill these losers. With the full might of our promoted army charging ahead, this shouldn't be a massive problem. Glen, why do you always focus on the top half of your stat screen? I guess it's okay, but you need skill and speed too! I thought Batta could defy the weapon triangle. I was wrong. Same level as Glen! Kiwi too needs speed! They were the only enemies who moved... Something's not right here. Colm! Take them out! I take a shot at this swordsmaster. What can she do about it? NOTHING. It's so quiet... No, I'm not going to pretend to be surprised. In the original FE8, the castle and the enemies in it were mostly motionless until you crossed a specific line. Then suddenly, reinforcements were coming and all the enemies charged right for you. Right now, we're in that initial easy phase. Selena has speed, but she actually needs to work on her defense and HP! We need to be careful crossing where the knights were. I forget exactly where that line was. Ewan will take care of the druids, and L'arachel will get max level, and Oh hey! Here they come! Hope we're ready! This was one of the weaker Amullas. A few managed to land Luna hits on Ewan. What? Of all the people to attack, why HER? Phantom barely avoids 43x overkill. Ewan is fast running out of stats to gain! Pace yourself, guy! No, don't do that. If you had paced yourself earlier, you wouldn't have survived. NONE of us would have survived without your strength! The thing is, the elite enemies are catching up now. Just look at this Amulla! What the heck!? Almost ALL of the enemies that spawned at the bottom are promoted! I mean, normal FE8 had half of them as cavaliers! Oh, we've also got an impossibly overspecialized assassin here to head for the treasures. Okay, new plan. Ewan needs to handle the top while everyone else handles the shamans! Riev, you are getting DROPPED when all is said and done. Colm has to push through, and reach the treasure before the assassin! He has no time for games! Ewan's doing okay on his end. CAN NO MAGIC UNIT HIT? They're approaching fast! What do I do? Maybe this won't help much with the problem, but this is the only turn where someone doesn't ABSOLUTELY NEED her healing. No promotion options. I guess my ONLY CHOICE was Great Bitch. If she gets more defense and I find a good tome for her, she'll have Denning-class levels of usefulness. Oh come on! Once I find an Orion's Seal, I suppose I could T3 him. Not yet, though. Selena clears the way, and gets something we will literally never need again, ever. No, I didn't upload the same screenshot twice. L'Arachel is NOT doing a good job with her new promoted powers! And... that's it? We've killed all the enemies attacking us? Yup! Now, to advance to Seth! See that Summoner in the top-left? Wait, what? That's not a Summoner! Weird. He's all ready for T3ing... I know he can't, but I have to try. Inside is... is... IS... Okay. Wow. No thief of the year awards for you, buddy. A massive charge of promoted enemies... who will handle them? WHO CAN SAVE US? KIWIIIII! They can barely poke him! Ah, my chapter-ly death by RNG! I was wondering when it would happen. Never mind. My SECOND chapter-ly death by RNG. Why does every single chapter have to have healers!? Okay, stuff! We don't need the Hero Crest, though. All right. Let's settle down. We've almost got the chapter finished. You know, despite promoting him to Rogue, Colm is actually a good combat unit. Kiwi is still winning. And here I was all worried about the massive horse army! Colm levels up further. He's really been having a good performance this chapter! Oh, great. Another Rogue. Now I have to go kill it! See enemies? I have Physic too! I should just sell these keys. All it takes is a bit of luring out for these enemies. They're too stupid to go all at once. Now Kiwi is ready for his T3! Once we have the items, we'll be able to attain the maximum power this hack allows! With the Rogue dead, actual Summoners start showing up. I don't remember them coming in the original game! Phew! We're almost done! Honestly, this has been almost a break from all the other stuff. Other than a few RNG-tastic moments, this has been okay. I'm guessing things will intensify again shortly. Nope. Not fighting this guy on equal ground. And here I was hoping for some unique dialogue. I have to try it! Please, please, please, PLEASE work! Nope. Nothing happened. Literally. NOTHING. Happened. The game didn't even bother taking away my Guiding Ring! It said I could use it, but... well, at least there wasn't some crazy side effect. GIVE ME YOUR STUFF Now lay down and die! Seth: We are all pawns… pieces in a game. …so sad… If there's some massive plot twist that causes everything to make sense and become meaningful, I'll just DIE. I give Riev the kill and 2 levels. Seth: A real death… Huh? TWO Opens? (One is for Colm's "Pick" skill, the other is to just use the key) Always helpful. For Cormag. For... well, a lot of people want for it. Sit! We are done here! NEXT TIME: We get tons of stuff!
NinjaMonkey
And the third unit? Denrei! Apparently, she did join after all! And she looks almost actually GOOD! Still, we have too many people already for me to train her. I'll show her growths, though. You forgot to do this.
SilverHairedFreak25
You forgot to do this. TheMoniker
You forgot to do this. As SilverHairedFreak said, I looked at Nightmare, but I couldn't find her growths. Her slot was taken by someone else. However he forgot Morva again... Or is it next time? It's next time since I forgot this was the chapter he joined in. Time to get something we've been needing for a while in... The CHAPTER 16 CONCLUSION! Wait, what? All of it? OH NO! THAT'S 80% OF OUR TEAM! Kiwi: Your home is clean schmexyness. Gheb: FUCK YEAH! I was starting to get homesick. Glass: Same here. But Gleb’s still out there. And we can't even get a bit of rest... Gheb: True. We can’t rest easy while that fail Gheb, wouldn't YOU be the guy to ask that? Gheb: Hmm… Gheb: Loli! What do you need? Amelia: … follow me. Gheb: Hmmmm? Assassinate him, Amelia! Unfortunately, no. She's taking us to- Lute!? What the heck? I didn't catch the map screen, but Lute didn't appear. This just... sort of happened. Gheb: YOU! Lute: Ah yes. Gheb. Gheb: But Glass said he took you down! Why is this whore still alive! Lute: Why make such a commotion. Gheb: Why are you here! Lute: I better go… All the ellipses go against established characterization! Clearly, THIS is the thing I should be complaining about! Please, please don't. Amelia: Sir… We’ll get here. Gheb: We won’t get her… Amelia: Let’s keep going… Gheb's sprite is moving up and down... Gheb: Grr… Where’s loli with our new weapons? I must have them to destroy everything NAO! Kiwi: Ya should look outside. Gheb: Lol, huh? And we head to the front of the castle, and receive... CHEERING!!!? They're CHEERING these guys! They're cheering Gheb! GHEB! Gheb: This almost makes me cry… Me too! Kiwi: What did you expect? You’re Gheb after all. Gheb: Indeed… Now I’m more motivated than ever to take down this Gleb fag! But I thought Gleb gave them more crops and money and income? Glass: FUCK YEAH! Amelia: With L’arachel’s help… I was able to get the code to unlock the, um… SS Cave. The secret weapons should be there. Amelia: You did, schmexyness. You just somehow forgot. Of course he did. Gheb: Sounds plausible. Glass: Let’s go already. Amelia: Allright, allright. And the way opens! Cheering aside, we're FINALLY going to get our lords promoted! Glass: look at this… Gheb: Whoah, shiny. Oh yeah, the Sacred Stone. I almost forgot how they related to the plot! I'm sure we all know what's going to happen to this one. L’arachel: Very cliché, teehee. Glass: Yeah, I saw this in Morva’s flashback. Gheb: Then I suppose we need to protect it? L’arachel: Of course, teehee. Glass: It also had a pair of bracelets lying near it. L’arachel: !! ...Begh's bracelets? Is this some new guy we don't know about? He's obviously related to Gheb somehow, but... L’arachel: They hold the key to this dimension’s power! You may wanna put them on, teehee! Gheb: WTF… that’s genius, whore! Glass: … Feel anything? Gheb: Let’s see… Gheb: There it is! Do you feel it too? Glass: Fuck… yeah! SLIGHTLY GLITCHY WHITE SCREEN GO! Promotion time! Except... no. For some reason, technical or otherwise, while in normal FE8 you have the option to promote right away from this screen, here you need to wait until the next map screen. Sorry. The moon and sun... at least we don't have weird incestuous mythology references?? Master Gheb and Master Glass. Quite the names. Glass: I know, rite? Amelia: Well, guys, time for the weapons. Glass: YAY! This is like some weird christmas thing. God Defiant! It's actually a nice name! ...Okay, I really don't think that's a lance. Amelia: It’s called the God Defiant. Glass: Perfect for me…! Amelia: It has your name on it too. Gheb: AIYEEEE! So fucking kewl! Really? I'm guessing Gheb named it himself at some point. At least we don't have a description to match. Gheb: It feels so orgasmic(IS THAT REALLY THE RIGHT ADJECTIVE FOR AN AXE)! They won’t know what hit em! Bwahahaha… LOL!! Gift-giving time is over, I'm sorry to say. Gheb: Nothing… we just got epic powah. Kiwi: That’s very nice. Glass: Heh, you have no idea, Kiwi. L’arachel: Well, teehee, shall we continue? Gheb: What would be our next destination? Kiwi: Kiwi suggests going towards the river. Denrei reported seeing Lute running that way. Gheb: Lute…! She’ll pay! Let’s-a-go! We're STILL running around after random villains? We couldn't at least try to structure our movements? NEXT TIME: Saving Helpless Greenies 2: Possible Edition ... JUST KIDDING! PROMOTION TIME! He promotes into EXACTLY THE SAME SPRITE AS BEFORE! His stats continue to be incredibly lopsided, favoring HP and strength a lot, but favoring CON even more. He also gets a Cyclops sprite, which is suitable considering his girth, personality, and CON rating. I mean. Just LOOK at it. Glass changes from a merc sprite to a hero sprite. Very nice. Very nice gains, but I would've liked at least some defense and resistance. His stats are lopsided, like Selena but with defense and resistance switched. Still, he can gain levels again! Alright, that's all for this time! See you guys at the river chapter! Edited January 5, 2016 by TheMoniker

Cyas
Huh, 39 Con is like 2.4375 Dozlas or 156% of a Draco Zombie. After seeing that stat, I expected that his personal Axe would have a ridiculous weight but it's just 9. The Overkill Con is apparently really only there to make rescue strategies impossible. TheMoniker
also glass has that peer map sprite. Yeah, I forgot to mention that. It;s a rather random sprite, really. Huh, 39 Con is like 2.4375 Dozlas or 156% of a Draco Zombie. After seeing that stat, I expected that his personal Axe would have a ridiculous weight but it's just 9. The Overkill Con is apparently really only there to make rescue strategies impossible. As we'll see next update, it makes rescue strategies impossible in more ways than one. Gleb's army fights itself in... The CHAPTER 17 PRELUDE! With our castle back, more and more of the map is opening up to us. Aside from our usual offscreen shopping, there's a few things we need to do before entering the chapter. For one, we have a KNIGHT CREST! Hmmm... Cormag really needs the defense. I'll say Great Knight. He's a bit toughter now, but those stats... they're pathetic! He was good early on, but now, is he even still usable? We'll find out... Also, as some of you pointed out I forgot to show Morva off last time. Well, we'll be using him this chapter, "Dope D.Stone" and all. Now, let's start! As usual, we begin with a text skip. N: With secret weapons in tow, N: This time the gang finds themselves in a river, where Gleb’s forces have planned a seemingly devastating attack. I HAVE EVERY REASON TO BE FALTERING. N: They will surely handle it. Everything is on the line now… Are any things more on the line than they were before. We start in a flashback on a really weird map. I feel like Gheb's world does flashbacks very differently than most fiction. Gheb: Why am I in a flashback again?! I know they’re pwnsome but seesh-OH! Lyon, baby! Lyon: Hehe, Gheb. I just need to talk. Gheb: How can you pull this taking me to a flashback stunt? Wow. What a wonderful, deep, well-explained world and plot mechanics. Lyon: I just wanted to tell you that… after doing some thinking… even if I find a cure to the curse I was put on. It's cute, except not really. At all. TAKE ANY ESCAPE POSSIBLE, LYON! SURELY DEATH IS BEST HERE! Gheb: Aww, that’s sweet, Lyon. As sweet as your ass, or any of my other whore’s ass for that matter. Wanna have a threesome later? Lyon: Sure, hehe. Now, let’s kick some ass, yes? I hate this hack. Gheb: FUCK YEAH! DISCLAIMER: This chapter isn't particularly difficult. Kiwi: Kiwi is actually worried for once. Gheb: Hmm… and I feel a strong sense of AIDS drilling into my nose and into my brain. THAT’S NOT RIGHT!! Glass: You’re right fat man. I smell it too. Gheb: Wait… I remember that smell… KIWI! Uh oh. It's Eghb, isn't it. I've said it once and I'll say it again, we have ENOUGH Ghebs as it is! Kiwi: Oh my, then… You mean it’s here? Gheb: I believe so. Kiwi: Kiwi will make them deeply penetrated with Kiwi’s lance, Bob of course. Gheb: Yes, that would satisfy me, Kiweh. Gheb: Oh, Dragon guy. Glass: What do you need? Morva: But only faintly. Glass: That’s pretty good news. Make sure to grab it. We do need to make sure to get this. As the game says, there is more than one dragonstone to get for this guy. Colm might even be able to lift even more for us later on. Morva: Of course. Kiwi: What does his schmexyness mean? Gheb: I dunno. Cut to a battle scene! Gleb’s soldier???: We need him! This fight scene bugged me in the original game, just because of how bad the greenies were. But here... these are Valter's guys, right? Why are Gleb's human troops killing them instead of just assimilating them? The massacre continues. Maybe Gleb's army is only "eliminating fail" but still! They would at least be useful as cannon fodder! Whatever, if they want to make them help us, they can go right ahead. But now... So. Guess who replaces Syrene. Somebody: What do we do? Valter: What are you asking me for? Somebody: Well, you’re our… boss? Valter: Not anymore. Somebody: But, but… Valter: Care to talk to the spearhead!? Somebody: No, no! These poor guys! I hereby resolve to save every last one, if only for the reward that was given in normal FE8. Valter: This is all pathetic. Valter: I’ll just kill myself. That’d probably not fail. Remember how, in the beginning, we were rooting for Valter when he went up against Amelia, if only because he was better than Gheb? No more. Gheb: so many people getting pwned. Glass: Gheb… those are the same forces we fought at the desert. Gheb: WTF… really? Glass: Rucking really. This confirms that Gleb is killing his own troops, but gives no further explanation. Gheb: Then… OMG WTF… Is that Valta?! What the hell is he doing here?! And alive! What the hell? Glass: That is fucked up… Suddenly, Eirika teleports in! But I though Glass took her out offscreen? Wait, WHAT? "!" and "!?" is right! That's LYN! What the heck is SHE doing here!? Gheb: You! Eirika: Yes, me! Hahaha! This time you won’t get away, Gheb… Glass: WTF … Is that… LYN! Eirika: Don’t be shy, Lyn. Talk… Lyn: It’s me… Lyn… And I’m here to kill you Glass: How are you… How is she…! Glass and Gheb are just as confused as I am. The story makes less sense by the sentence. Gheb: WTF!! Eirika: Hear that! Come! Try and kill us! Ahahaha!! Glass: How can this get any more fucked up! Gheb: I dunno… but it’s our duty to un-fuck it up! I think Gheb might be making it worse, but it's not like the game is giving us any choices here. END DIALOGUE I wish we could bring more people! This is what we've got. Hopefully it will be enough. Our position! The map! Just as in FE8, this battle revolves around lots of enemy units advancing on the center, where some allies are. Valter really DOES replace Syrene, for those wondering. We need to get Gheb to talk to him, but he's an enemy unit... which is a GOOD thing. He won't attack his green allies, or anyone at all, so it just makes it harder for the enemy to kill him before we get there. This also explains his low stats... sort of. The allies are level 20 unpromoted generics of varied classes-one is even a Mogall! No weapons, sadly. We want them alive, and keeping therm safe will require plenty of strategy! Amullas continue to populate the map, but they aren't the only special things around. Look at the map sprite carefully. It looks like a Wyvern Lord, but with some of the wing roughness removed... is this a T3!? His stats aren't that great though, thankfully. See this female sage who just happens to be able to fly? She is a Medium, and DEFINITELY a T3. She has an Orion's Seal we need to steal, and thankfully isn't that dangerous due to a pathetic MAG stat. The Dark Mamkute next to her has that Fire D.Stone that was mentioned! Thing is, it gives worse stat boosts than the Dope one. But we still want it! Over here are the Eghbs, with plenty of stats and appropriate weapons They have the "commander" icon, but it doesn't do much as far as I can tell. Oh, and those mercenaries next to them? Glass-related counterparts, also with appropriate weapons! They're toughter than the REAL Glass ever was, too! We also have a few stealables and other stuff floating around. Oh, and the main reason why saving the greenies is difficult? ALL the magic people below Eirika have siege tomes. They WILL rain them down upon the poor green army. Saving them will be luck-based, at least at first. Lyn is very strong, mostly due to combining good attack and an INSANE dodge rate. We do NOT want that Lightning Sword getting equipped! Oh, and there's something else too... she's the only boss so far to be fast enough that Colm can't steal from her. We actually have to FIGHT this thing! Eirika can be stolen from, but it doesn't really matter because she isn't that strong. The Epee is a Prf weapon, so even if we stole it we couldn't use it, I'm sorry to say. And that's all for this really long prelude! NEXT TIME: Probably the best level this hack has had so far GROWTHS: MORVA: HP: 150% Strength: 120% Skill: 60% Speed: 45% Luck: 20% Defense: 150% Resistance: 20% Total: 565% His growths are lopsided, but I see him becoming a nigh-invulerable tank. Particularly since his 30-use starting dragonstone isn't actually the only one we get. Definitely a keeper! VALTER: HP: 70% Strength: 40% Skill: 50% Speed: 60% Luck: 30% Defense: 20% Resistance: 50% Total: 320% His stats indicate that he's a prepromote, but taking T3ing into consideration, he isn't a bad unit. Glen's been working out for us, though. I think we'll just use him.
AnonymousSpeed
Morva's growth may be lopsided, but I wouldn't say they're lopsided in a way which is really bad. Resistance is something that's usually low, and luck...can be excused for the other stats he has, which are pretty good. Anyway...yeah. I don't think there's a whole lot I can add at this point. It kind of reaches a point where it all just...falls apart. I mean, it's always been bad, but it used to be solid bad. At this point its worn out so much it's weathered into fine dust. MrNight48
Remember how early this was when it came to hacking. Do you really think custom sprites were a thing? no idea, I know next to nothing about this hack or even if people even finished it back then. This doesn't seem like the kind of hack people would put up with.

Yeah, Morva is a great unit and I'm definitely using him. This hack... really, I think the gameplay is starting to improve, honestly. However, the story isn't really entertaining or shocking anymore. Particularly since someone we've been hearing a lot about is soon to get a speaking role, and ends up ruining himself a little. I forced you to play this game by voting just for the tier 3's and the hack just reuses the same classes. I don't know what I was expecting I'm so sorry buddy. FE7 Chaos Mode did T3s right. This one... well, they're a mix between OP and disappointing. It's weird how it manages to be BOTH. Time to be a heroic savior for four specific people and absolutely nobody else in... GhebFE: Episode 21: Chapter 18: Part 1: Villian in Submission Phantom here! His job was to lure out Valter, but it turned out to be unnecessary, so he'll be doing something else! Morva and Glen are heading over to stop the Gloss-es. Up we go! You're good to lead the charge, right, Cormag? Come enemy phase I'm really regretting letting him lead the charge. This is to show that Valter moved next to the mercenary, and didn't attack him. It's weird AI, but it beats the alternative! Phantom heroically attracts the fire of almost all the siege tome/staff users, saving the greenies! You go, buddy! And then Cormag dies. So, let me explain Cormag's problem. He had to wait a LONG TIME for that Knight Crest, and add that onto being an "only average" unit, he's lagging behind the rest of the team in a big way, and doesn't have any other type of utility to make up for it, like Glen does. Surely, we can find SOME use for him, right? I make Ewan go first instead, and he shows that the limited defense of a Druid cannot withstand the Amulla, no matter how many stats are capped. WHY? WHY didn't I promote him to Summoner? Grrrr! Phantom gets killed early on, forcing my other troops and a Pawn to pick up the slack. Everyone lives, thankfully! We successfully survived Turn 1! We've split into two main groups, one to take up a position in the center island and the other to hold off the massive army on the left side. Morva's animation and sprite is actually really cool! Death and destruction shall rain upon our foes! Stay alive! Stay alive, so I can get the reward at the end of the chapter! Even with some of his stats maxed, this is still disappointing. At the same time, I think Denning is ready for T3-ing, regardless of not being 20/20. Once we get an item for the job... Great! Batta overkills a Valkyrie, and absorbs some of her stats! And he overkills MORE! Looks like the wyvern unit is advancing, and of course they put themselves on the mountains. We have to stop that T3! Pfft, no... Is that... Is that staff gaining an effectiveness bonus? Uh... well, Morva will survive... Dangit! What the heck!? SERIOUSLY!? Yes, completely powerless in the face of that WTH RNG! I mean, REALLY? Colm's a great unit, but I overestimated him and put him in the line of fire. My fault. Annnnnd dead again, not my fault. And again. Maybe my fault?? I'm frustrated now. GO LEGENDARY TOMES! Morva made it out alive! And now the reinforcement start. They won't stop for a good, looooong while. Blah. The Medium and Dracozombie have remained weirdly still throughout all this. If they're operating on their FE8 AI, then they're waiting for a specific turn to smash the Snag and advance. The Summoner moved there of his own accord, which turned out to be bad for him! Siege tomes down: 1 Tomes remaining: 2 We made it! Will Valter be on the team? Gheb: Why the fuck are you here? How the fuck are you alive? Valter: Turd… … Gheb: … Valter: … Gheb: Answer meh! Valter: I am not useful anywhere anyway. Gheb: … After betraying my cause! Are you retarded! Valter: … do I have to beg? Gheb is... actually going to make him beg? Valter: … ... Some twisted part of me enjoys this, after Valter being so rapey in FE8. However, Gheb making this guy get on his knees and beg, even in a very out-of-character fashion... I wish we had people to root for. We're not rooting for Gleb, we're CERTAINLY not rooting for Gheb... couldn't we have someone genuinely heroic, and not sarcastic? Gheb: … pffft… Gheb: And you DID it! Okay, you’re in. Yes Valter. Yes you should have. Valter seems like a normal Wyvern knight with a very balanced stat setup, but he has a +1 move bonus for some reason. Well, I'm going to keep using Glen, he doesn't have enough defenses. I restore Phantom, just so he can be status-staffed again! Lyon is ALMOST THERE... Oh, of course. Well, L'arachel is nearby. Oh crap! Reset! Can't have the Pawns dropping on me! I want to do ONE good thing in this crapsack world! Valter, you are now our greenie mule. The Medium is moving! And... they attacked Glass for some reason! No, wait! That's not why I'm worried! She decided to go on a mountain, making her extremely hard to hit! Ow! But at least he's still alive! Oh, great. The cavaliers are meh, but the druids and Medium? REALLY BAD. We don't have too many high-RES guys over there! Well, we do have ONE person who can stop the druids, but they aren't a guy... This is Denning's second attack. Sadly, he failed to crit. We need to stop this dragon, or he'll start fighting back! I wanted a Sleep staff, but this was all I had on hand! But it was profitable??? This has 50 uses, but other than that it's actually weaker than the Dope D. Stone. Still, being able to get more than the one, single dragonstone for Mamkutes is nice! Wait... what? Why can't I rescue these greenies to protect them? Here's why: Gheb's CON is so INSANELY high, that his Aid is glitched, and he can't rescue ANYTHING! Despite being the beefiest guy out of most of the ROMhacks we've played, he can't bother to stop and carry anyone else! And his unpromoted form could! Dangit, Gheb! Fine! I'll have Glass do it instead, since HE'S not a lazy fat idiot! Wait, no... since HE'S not lazy and fat! Hey there, HP-Cap breaker! Ewan wants you out of the picture! Ewan's pretty much finished using his 80%-across-the-board growths. I love the guy, but... without a T3, he has nowhere left to GO! He's perfect, and despite his perfection, he isn't completely invincible! WHY, game? WHY won't you let me make him a Necromancer!? Selena, at least, can still get more powerful. I get Gheb some kills with the shamans. Still, doing so puts him in a lot of danger. I need to find someone better. Ow! Yes, of course! Perfect! Just what we needed! Woohoo! Well, the map is getting a bit more clear even if there are more reinforcements to go, and all the greenies are still alive... I guess we're doing okay so far. We just need to keep counting our blessings. I think this is a good note to end the update on. Item get! NEXT TIME: Remember, the Orion's Seal promotes archers and trainees... LIKE DENNING! I'm honestly not sure at this point whether I should do the Ruins/Tower when all is said and done, bonus characters or no. Even if the limited hints pointing to the ruins being the TRUE FINAL BATTLE are real, I'm not sure if it would even be worth it when so many people want me to do Requiem instead. So, I've got a new poll! Please, please don't make me continue with this hack beyond the end... Oh, and it seems that the winner of the previous poll is... Moniker is awesome! Thank you for the compliments, guys! Edited January 11, 2016 by TheMoniker

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for Requiem and all, but at that point you're passed all the terrible story and dialogue, so it's just slaughtering metaphors until you get to the end. ,..I actually had a hack idea that reminds me of, hopefully I wasn't subconsciously inspired by this...not that I was going to make it anyway. Darrman
GhebFE. I'm out of witty sanity comments. :( Manaketes becoming a drug dragon to kill things? Must explain their growths. There's probably zillions of Afa's Drops, star shards, crusader scrolls, and Metis's Tomes in there. - Only in GhebFE. *grumbles at dopestones*
TheMoniker
Sorry about the update slowdown. IRL stuff is catching up to me again. Soon I should open up a little, emphasis on the "little" part. That implies there was something to ruin in the first place. Do it. But only after you beat the main game, I'm not going to give you level grinding. The poll seems to be leaning very strongly towards "don't do the tower and ruins" which is good-for me! Also, just so you guys know, I was doing some off-screen level grinding at the start, but throughout most of Gheb's route and everything we've done so far, I've kept myself just focused on the story battles. I guess it might say something good about this hack that I'm not struggling more despite my lack of grinding, but I'm honestly wondering if the hack-maker expects you to grind for this crazy hack. GhebFE. I'm out of witty sanity comments. :( Manaketes becoming a drug dragon to kill things? Must explain their growths. There's probably zillions of Afa's Drops, star shards, crusader scrolls, and Metis's Tomes in there. - Only in GhebFE. *grumbles at dopestones* That... makes a lot of sense! In Fire Emblem, drugs are just Afa's drops, Speedwings, Dragonshields... that's why they cost so much, and why only secret shops sell them, while they're simultaneously owned by a lot of random people! GhebFE: Episode 21: Chapter 18: Part 2: The Epic Luck-Based Fight Against Lyn + SUPER DENNING Okay, so, situation reminder: We just stole an Orion's seal, have the greenies mostly safe, but the Eghbs are approaching us and there's still plenty of enemies left to fight. Oh yeah, and the *ahem* "SB" axe gives Gheb +1 CON. BECAUSE HE NEEDED MORE. I guess I can't complain... Okay, a bunch more cavaliers and druids came, but we've lured the enemies to us! Now, we POUNCE! Morva starts, but he doesn't get a great level. Eventually, I decide it would be a bad idea to move forward. Colm! At the front! Nope. Not regretting the decision. Ooh! Good job, Pawn! That was... very close. Glen OVERKILLS this stupid Eghb. Really, the Raep Her is a weak weapon at this point. With one down, I end up killing the other one with the POWERS OF FRUSTRATION. No, really, this was the only thing that could have this enemy dead by the end of the turn! Honestly, I guess I'm just happy I won't have to deal with them anymore. Now, who to stop the Druids... oh, I know! Go, L'Arachel! Really, her high resistance and magic make her the perfect candidate to help stop this aggravating eternal stream of magic users. You've been in my hair for a bit too long, or at least that's what Glass thinks. With the bishop out of the way, we can buy stuff! Do I even need to show the whole selection? There wasn't anything really interesting, but I take the opportunity to restock anyways. Come on, Batta! This is a golden opportunity to improve your weak areas, not fail more! Okay, Batta's handling the limited enemies on the left side, and there's still the magic users on the right side, but those are also being dealt with. Other than that, we have reinforcements and our two bosses. I think we'll be okay. Batta on a Peak is pretty much immune to these guys. There wasn't anything interesting inside. Just the standard selection of siege tomes, status staves, and vulneraries. Beautiful! Not even Ewan got +2s! Testing: Will Lyn move? Yup! But with most of the enemies around gone, now is a PERFECT opportunity to lure her in and take her out! On a date! OF DEATH! Oh, and of course reinforcements. Batta is forced deeper into the mountains since of the mounted enemy units has a sword, and the berserkers aren't a concern NOW, but soon... Oh, and about those berserkers... Poor phantom... resurrected an infinite amount of times, just to die again and fulfill his purpose of some small, pathetic pawn in my larger plan. Rarely does he live long enough to see me finish the chapter. Whoops! Let one get to the greenies. No matter, archer guy is still holding strong! Now that we've got Lyn near us, we can see perfectly clearly how there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY any one unit can take her out easily. This is the kind of boss that NEEDS legendary weapons. Just LOOK at it. It's helped by the Lightning S., but STILL. Nobody we have can muster much more than a 60, and that's a best-case scenario! Hey! Good job, Batta! What? The "SB" is a Swordreaver? Great! Go at it, Gheb! You can do it! This is your chance! You've been a load the entire time during the story despite your importance in it, but now... NOW... this a job that only you can do well! Gheb, now your time has come! PROVE YOURSELF TO NOT COMPLETELY SUCK! ... ... I hate you, Gheb. Glass, as usual, is forced to pick up the other lord's slack. This combat engagement caused me to spontaneously burst into tears. There's no hope for Cormag. After this chapter, he is DROPPED. And then she crits. And I thought she was going to do it again, but then Gheb turned out to have the General skill! He still missed his attack, though. He does it twice! I mean, tankiness is good and all, but Gheb is still deeply flawed as a unit. Why do I even TRY? Ultimately, Glass with the God Defiant proves to be the ONLY one who can hit or kill Lyn. Good job, I guess?? And we don't even get a death quote. Wow. While all that was happening, a few more berserkers came. Well... I guess now's as good a time as any. Once I get the chance, we'll be seeing another T3! I'm not regretting taking L'Arachel under my wing. Selena. however... I have my doubts. But as long as she has good offense, she isn't useless. It's time! Time to get a T3 on OUR side! Lyon promotes into, well... himself. I mean... the gains were good, I guess, but they didn't fix his crippling statistical problem. Not only that, as far as I can tell, he doesn't have stat caps above 30. If there was one thing I really wanted out of GhebFE's T3s, it was that. All in all, this is a very disappointing first T3. His phantoms are now back to level 1, too, right when they were almost useful for actual combat! Hmmm... Hey! It's all good stats! Wha-come ON! Level 7 and still 3 skill. Glass is attracting some phantoms over on the island, while Colm is (trying to) take care of the rest. As long as he gets speed, it's a good level. Really, everyone is putting in some good self-improvement effort this chapter. There's been a few duds, but overall we're coming out on top. So, you know how the last T3 was disappointing? Let's do it to an actually GOOD unit! Denning is now... SUPER DENNING! Unlike all the promotions we've had so far, this great unit is now AMAZING, rather than a bad unit becoming meh, or a meh unit becoming good! As a "musketeer", he gets lances, AND... ...Magic? Works for me! Look at it. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. I feel like we can win the game now! ... or not. Of course my hopes would be crushed immediately. Just keep cleaning them up... As benefits to being a Musketeer, Denning ALSO gets the ability to Play! ...And the ability to dance! ...Let's try them?? Denning prepares to lay down the sweet sniper moves on L'arachel! And... he's still preparing! Yeah, the game froze. Denning will forever be staring at the troubadour, to shy to begin playing... Maybe this will work? Nope. So, the game gives us no less than TWO refresh commands... and BOTH of them freeze the game. That just seems like something GhebFE would do. How did that even HAPPEN? Whatever, flirt instead! Do we get a special conversation? (Nope! She refers to Denning as "Innes" and that's when I skipped it) It's been a long, hard fight, but we've done it. The greenies are still alive, and Eirika is all that's left! ...Oh? Looking at the map, there's someone we've forgotten about! I was actually just waiting until I could do this. Colm was ALWAYS needed elsewhere until now! Okay, so, the "Epee" is a Prf weapon, meaning even if we took it, we couldn't use it! Might as well do this. Will Gheb hit NOW? Eirika: We met again. I’m delighted, really. Gheb: Demon-whore… watch my axe devour you in a single blow!! I do believe Gheb has made up for earlier. Eirika: Ugh… Please, please let's all hope she won't come back again. We don't need another one, but I guess they're good to have anyway! And that's all for now. NEXT TIME: Disappointment...
