L1ghtning
What's the second poll? My guess is "most spoused". Glad to see Oboro above Aqua. The bottom poll is who people married the most.
Thane
I'm almost as surprised by Joker, Elise and Camilla's high ranking as I am by the idea that anyone anywhere would like the General class.Hm...you could vote for Kamui as your favorite unit, right? I can't remember, but if you could, then Kamui really didn't do nearly as well as Robin. Edited September 9, 2015 by Thane

arvilino
The bottom poll is most married? I'm surprised Camilla isn't number one, let alone not in the top five... Maybe less guys go for boobs and panties than I thought... I think it's more a matter of gameplay, Camilla joins as one of your best units and Corrin is likely to be another one of your best units who can handle enemies even on Lunatic without having to be paired with each other(you'd just be wasting two powerful units) and have very different movement ranges/types. Pairing them up or even having them fight close together doesn't really make much sense unless you want to give yourself a harder time or really, really want to pair Corrin and Camilla. It's not much surprise the most married units are two also foot units with similar movement to Corrin who join relatively early and are also a support role. Jackob, Aqua and Felicia(although Aqua probably took a lot of her potential) are pretty much made to be the most suitable marriage choices for Corrin's default class et with Jackob's personal skill making him arguably the best possible unit to have adjacent or paired up with Corrin in the main story. Same with the overall popularity rankings, characters that were good to use in-game will probably factor into how much people like the character. Leif
From these results, I wouldn't be surprised if they sacked Phoenix Mode all together. Hardly anyone used it! They will most likely stick to Classic and Casual from now on. In terms of Nohr/Hoshido, the two are almost neck and neck. I guess players liked both somewhat equally. Well, I predict that a future game will have the option to choose what kind of campaign you want. Perhaps there will be one main story campaign, but you can have a setting for turning grinding on or off. Maybe, in future games, there could be an option to toggle harder map objectives too. Oopsie. Yeah some of the topics/posts on this board you'd think some people think it's a visual novel and forgot the gameplay portion of it . Though interestingly the reasons various players in the character poll suggest there's quite a lot of Japanese women who liked Camilla both immediately and even after playing the game. Considering the player split is actually very even between Male and Female(not sure about the age ranges) it's a nice brief look into what makes for a popular Fire Emblem character and how a character can appeal to a certain demographics or multiple ones simultaneously. Sunwoo
From Reddit. D-did Oboro just make number 7? I mean, I'm pleasantly surprised to see that my three favorite Fates characters (Takumi, Oboro, and Leon) placed on the list, but I'm REALLY surprised that she beat Aqua, Ryouma, and Sakura (the latter didn't even place). Water Mage
To be fair the child/parent supports in this game are really good and well-written, especially for characters that are supposed to be non-canon. And I'm sure there were a lot of people, a LOT, that didn't like the children, they probably didn't post the most negative responses. Fire Emblem Fan
Huh, those are some interesting results. I'm honestly not surprised at which characters were the most popular, but I am surprised at which classes were. I'm disappointed that it seems like people want second gen/children characters shoehorned into future games though, and that people didn't complain/probably liked all the fanservice. Leif
Ah, well, I hope you're right. I don't want to see children in every single game. I didn't expect them to even be in this one, but then nope, IS tacked them on! Hey, on a positive note it could open doors for more creativity regarding "children" units. Perhaps future "2nd generation" units could be orphans from ravaged, war-torn areas that couples take under their wings and train. The orphans' appearances would differ depending on the couple. Again, I'm just trying to come up with a more realistic justification for a second generation. I've grown ambivalent about 2nd generations, but I just hope they don't employ ridiculous circumstances like alternate dimensions or time-travel to justify it.
