As ruler, my first act would be to abdicate, because I'd hate to be burdened with so much responsibility. 8. Forgiveness. Retribution just leads to more suffering. 9. Medieval and Victorian-to-Present-Day history. 10. It wasn't half as good as the British Empire was. They made some good advances in technology, some of which are still used today.
