MisterIceTeaPeach
I like almost everything, which includes a piano, a synthesizer or a bowed instrument. Many classic music, rock and pop from the late 70s and 80s and videogame music interest me. In general I never pay attention on vocals. I only need a good melody for a good song. - what is love (haddaway) This would be more a contender for my list "most annoying songs". - lucifer, games people play, you don't believe, damned if I do (alan parsons) Turn of a friendly card was one of my most listened albums in my childhood, because my mother was a huge fan of their music.[spoiler=I love especially the last song from this album, which is about 15 minutes long.] [spoiler=My favorite song of all time.] The strange thing: I came to this song by watching a Mario Party LP by the RunawayGuys. NintendoCapriSun did an awesome Mario Paint version of this song, which only brought me to this song. eclipse
I like almost everything, which includes a piano, a synthesizer or a bowed instrument. How 'bout all of them at once? Work out to the first song at your own risk - it's 200 BPM. Edited January 10, 2016 by eclipse
euklyd
This would be more a contender for my list "most annoying songs". Turn of a friendly card was one of my most listened albums in my childhood, because my mother was a huge fan of their music. [spoiler=I love especially the last song from this album, which is about 15 minutes long.]turn of a friendly card honestly I'm not sure how many songs I put on there because they're a good idea and how many songs I put on there "just because" also YES I love that album my dad is also a huge fan In general I never pay attention on vocals. I only need a good melody for a good song.vocals or lyrics? because tbh I'd say Alan Parsons has some of the most interesting lyrics in that sort of dadrock-y era (although I'm not a huge expert) also what you linked is like, the last 5? songs. I didn't know they were all supposed to be played together... I think my personal favorite Parsons song is probably You Don't Believe, in large part due to the strong sense of ambivalence expressed, but I like basically everything he's done also if you don't care for lyrics then definitely give kpop a try imo [spoiler=My favorite song of all time.]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjPqsDU0j2I The strange thing: I came to this song by watching a Mario Party LP by the RunawayGuys. NintendoCapriSun did an awesome Mario Paint version of this song, which only brought me to this song. ok I almost missed this but yesssssss it is so gooooooood as well that being said I prefer [spoiler=this mv of it] it's just so trippy ELO has some amazing gems (besides mr. blue sky, I'm especially fond of Prologue / Twilight and Yours Truly, 2095, the last one probably in large part due to [spoiler=this Metropolis AMV (Metropolis spoilers, obviously)] it's probably one of the best put-together AMVs I've seen, although again, not a huge expert. shout-outs to Makaze for showing it to me. I feel like basically none of this is good workout music but whatever
MisterIceTeaPeach
How 'bout all of them at once? For the first moment I thought it was from a videogame, but it doesn't seem to. Anyway all my expectations for a good song are more than satisfied. :) honestly I'm not sure how many songs I put on there because they're a good idea and how many songs I put on there "just because" also YES I love that album my dad is also a huge fan vocals or lyrics? because tbh I'd say Alan Parsons has some of the most interesting lyrics in that sort of dadrock-y era (although I'm not a huge expert) also what you linked is like, the last 5? songs. I feel like basically none of this is good workout music but whatever For some reason I've problems to memorize the lyrics of a song. Honestly I don't know the content of about 75% of the songs I listen to, which is quite a shame. Especially in long songs like Bohemian Rhapsody or November Rain I never pay attention to the vocals, only to the melody. Yeah, the song title The turn of a friendly card consists of five different songs. Honestly the same-titled album is the only one I really can memorize their songs. Songs like Lucifer went out of my head already, because too much time is passed since I've listened to it for the last time. My parents have more of albums of this band, which I'll check out soon. I love E.L.O., because they sound so nostalgic by adding classical music with their piano parts.

Wayward Winds
I don't exactly work out in the gym (preferring to get my exercise in the great outdoors), but there's quite a few different styles of music here so I've got a few suggestions to add on. First, pretty much anything that shows up on this YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3zwjSYv4k5HKGXCHMpjVRg ...Particularly the selection in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WU7SGn0MeP0&list=PL4adbQCQMmoat1N7v0v8sja4nd0RoRGNX&index=3 A bit more traditional, there's the version of Chariots of Fire performed by the London Symphony Orchestra during the 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB0L89zZqog (And if you like Mr. Bean, this is how it originally showed up on screen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwzjlmBLfrQ. Heck, even if you think his antics are too over the top as I generally do, it's still worth a watch!) If you work out to military style tracks, then the Ace Combat OSTs have a heck of a lot of good tunes. Here's a couple that sound like they might work for the gym: Ace Combat 5 - Four Horsemen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfcGsiD1QcA Ace Combat Assault Horizon - White Devil: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLqhF2wswYk Ace Combat 6 - Liberation of Gracemeria: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhdNjzX4waA (Not so sure about this one, but it's one of the best tracks in the series and it gets very inspiring later on). One of my favourite internet musicians would be Gavin Dunne, otherwise going by the handle Miracle of Sound. His songs are mostly (but not entirely) inspired by games or movies, he does a good variety of styles, and most of it's worth listening to. For the purposes of working out though, here's a couple with good beats: London Town (Inspired by Assassin's Creed Syndicate): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6hF3EaICxk Breaking Down the Borders (Inspired by Borderlands 2): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81aQuoM_Y90 His Father's Son (Inspired by Assassin's Creed 3): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbkBEWh5PIs I'd recommend others by him like Nord Mead, or Beneath the Black Flag, but those don't really have the regular rhythm I'd expect you to need in the gym. ingram25
I like kpop music and my favorite kpop band is BTS (cozy bts sweatshirt). I recommended First Love - Sung by SUGA and even though it talks about his love for the piano and boy do the lyrics cut deep. The music is pretty minimal so it allows for the focus on the lyrics.
