Avalanche
Exactly what it says on the tin. I'm curious what difficulty people here want to start Fates on. Personally, I'm pretty set on Hoshido Hard/Classic, but I'm not entirely sure about Nohr and Revelation.
Tolvir
Since I am doing Nohr I will likely go Normal first so I can see the maps, get used to all the new features, etc. Second play through will be hard, and then the last being lunatic. Though I will probably have at least 6 playthroughs on each version. This game is going to provide me with a solid 2 years worth of entertainment or more. One of the reasons I am looking so forward to this.
Dai
Same thing (that I intended to do) with Awakening. Normal across the board, then hard across the board, and finally, Lunatic across the board.
Thor Odinson
I heard Hoshido Lunatic to be more or less on the same scale as EphHM So probably that Edit: strictly classic Edited January 26, 2016 by Thor Odinson
SoupyGhost
Both Nohr and Hoshido on Classic Hard, permadeath on.
eclipse
Hard/Classic for everything first, then I'll sweat the details later.
Hunter Nightblood
Despite being very familiar with Awakening, I'm going for Birthright Normal Classic first, just to get a feel for the new mechanics. From there I'll advance to Hard and Lunatic. Edited January 26, 2016 by Hunter Nightblood
stahl_gaius_fan
An unpopular decision but I'm going to do Normal/Casual like I did with Awakening. I like to enjoy the story and all the new characters first without having to reset all the time to save characters from permadeath. I might switch to something harder later. wvype
I want to try one playthrough of each on Normal/Casual and then Hard/Classic, and after that I will probably be support grinding to fill out the support log so a lot of Revelations playthroughs on Normal/Phoenix for that. Possibly Lunatic at some point? I'm not sure, I never managed to get past Awakening chapter 4 on Lunatic, so if I feel up for the challenge, sure. Namarid
Normal classic all routes. Then hard classic, then lunatic classic all routes if I feel up to it( more like if I'm not terrified at the idea of it.)
Griffonite
Hard/Classic for all three and maybe Lunatic afterward. Edited January 26, 2016 by Griffonite
Chloe Neo
Im starting with nohr so ill probably do hard-classic, when I do hoshido hard-classic or lunatic-classic, revelations either normal-classic or hard-classic depending on whether it is too hard or not. SniperGYS
Hoshido Hard/Classic will be the first... Revelations same maybe, and I'm not sure for Nohr, maybe Normal-Classic? I don't know how difficult is Nohr Hard, so... IDK for it, but Hoshido is 100% to be in hard mode
KP Joey
Already have played through most of the game on Rev Hard/Classic, Hoshido Lunatic/Classic, and Nohr Hard/Classic. That's what I plan on starting with for english release.
CaitlynMellark
I haven't played Fates yet (actually waited :c ) But I kinda just kept the difficulty around Hard. Couple normal & 1 or 2 Lunatic. But Hard is my range. It was when I started Fire Emblem with Awakening, & I will stay that way.
Midori Mage
I'm probably gonna do Hard/Classic for Hoshido and IK, and maybe Normal/Classic for Nohr if I decide to get it.
Flying Shogi
Hard/Classic across all three routes. I'll get to Lunatic eventually.
Shadowess
On all routes, probably Normal/Casual. That's what I did with Awakening, so I'll probably follow up on that. If I work up the nerve, though, I may try Normal/Classic ouo
The DanMan
Hard Mode/Casual Challenge (pop off the occasional mid-battle save, still reset when a unit dies).
CaitlynMellark
On all routes, probably Normal/Casual. That's what I did with Awakening, so I'll probably follow up on that. If I work up the nerve, though, I may try Normal/Classic ouo I have never done Classic (except for when my mom bought me some of the previous games after I enjoyed Awakening so much) But for one of my Nohr routes (My Lucy(fer) one) she will be Classic. But she'll probably be Normal; Hard at most. If I went Lunatic/Classic, it'd be suicide for me.
Carnation
Normal/Classic for all routes, then Hard/Casual. It would be tempting to try Hard immediately, but I have no idea how challenging Conquest is going to be. I'd like to get used to new mechanics and maps first. Meouko
Lunatic/Casual for my first Hoshido run, hearing that it is somewhat similar to Hard in Awakening, then Hard/Casual for both Nohr and Revelations.
PKL
Im going to do lunatic first run of all 3.
Dai
Should mention it's Classic all the way for me, too. XD
Cyas
Nohr Lunatic/Classic I'll switch the difficulty to Hard if/when I get stuck. Edited January 26, 2016 by Cyas
