Knight Falchion
I'm going to try Nohr Lunatic Classic first, and if I hit a major roadblock I'll drop to Hard. I don't know if I'll even get the other routes, but if I do I'll do the same thing.
Solkia
Normal to get myself used to the new battle system, hard next.
Shadow Mir
Probably Hard first. Might go down to Normal if I struggle enough.
Kurrin
Normal/Casual for Birthright, Nohrmal/Casual for Conquest and Normal/Casual for Revelation. I don't want difficulty to get in the way of my first time experience. I want to be able to take the whole story in without having to worry about screwing up and getting someone killed off. Nobody
Norh Hard/Classic
Symphony
I'm still pretty new to Fire Emblem (having played most of Awakening twice and the few chapters of Shadow Dragon), so I'm going to start with Hard on Birthright, probably. I plan to eventually get all three versions once I have some income, so that would be Normal on Conquest and Hard on Revelations. Casual all the way. Permadeath is one of my least-favorite features in games. It's why I had so much trouble with Shadow Dragon (newb + permadeath = failing not to kill the princess, resetting endlessly, and eventually just giving up). TheBakonBitz
Hard/Classic, Conquest, Final Destination, 1v1 me. Seriously though, Hard/Classic without same turn reinforcements is literally a dream come true.
Sarthanta
Nohr Normal/Classic. I'm a bit rusty at FE so I'll start small.
PuffPuff
Normal/Conquest. Want to enjoy the story first before I start anything harder.
Avalanche
Wow, I really didn't expect this many responses. Keep'em coming guys! I'm really surprised at how differently people want to tackle a first playthrough of the game.
MagicIsOP
Probably Normal/Casual for Revelation and Nohr. Not doing Hoshido cuz **** hoshido.
Soonaynay
Normal/Casual for Nohr, and then Hard/Casual for Hoshido. I feel like people need to justify playing casual for whatever reason, but anyway I just want to experience the gameplay and story first without stressing over permadeath. AegisBreak
I'll start all versions on hard and then move up to lunatic on my second playthrough. Nohr first, all classic Fire Emblem! :D Edited January 26, 2016 by AegisBreak
JasonMendez
Nohr Hard/Classic first and then Hoshido followed by Revelation. Hopefully Lunatic soon after I at least know my preference for characters. Oboro and Hana just might convince me to play Hoshido first but we'll see. nyainou
Nohr, normal/casual, Hoshido, hard/casual, then probably normal/casual again for Revelations. ..Yep, I'm a casual.
MCProductions
Nohr Normal Classic Hoshido Normal classic Revelations Normal Classic If you could use Phoenix mode on Lunatic, Phoenix Lunatic would be my difficulty of choice
A creative name
Hoshido: Normal/Casual first to get a feel of the game, then Hard/Casual for subsequent runs. Will probably do a Lunatic at some point, which may or may not be classic mode. Nohr: Normal/Casual for all runs since I'm not confident with Nohr's apparent difficulty. Revelations/IK/3rd Path: Normal/Classic so I can grind with little difficulty but going Classic for some main game difficulty.
Zerosabers
I'm starting on probably hard classic and I'll take the route with the people I care about more. I don't know exactly who that is yet though.
Loki Laufeyson
Im gonna be a total Weenie Hut Jr and pick Normal Casual for my first Nohr run.
Tsunami922
Hard/Classic, most likely.
nordopolica
Conquest: Hard/Casual or Normal/Classic Birthright: Hard/Classic Revelation: Hard/Casual or Normal/Classic
CocoaGalaxy
Lunatic/Classic for everything. I'll probably be beaten up quite badly on Nohr though, but what can be said
luis_lara12345
Hoshido and Revelations Hard/Causal it will be my first Hard mode game:) Edited January 27, 2016 by luis_lara12345
ladyfoster
I almost want to be a lunatic and start on lunatic. At least for Birthright anyway. Considering that the game will let you lower the difficulty once I'm genuinely tempted to just go full lunatic. ...But that's probably a bad idea and I'll probably end up doing Hard/Classic for all 3 at first. I'll also being doing all 3 at once because SE allows me to play that way. Edited January 27, 2016 by ladyfoster
Tsuky
Probably just the same as Awakening: Hard/Classic across the board, and then Lunatic/Classic across the board.
