I Thought Hoshido Was Supposed to Be the Good Side (Spoilers)

I beat Conquests and started Birthright. Conquests has its flaws, but was portrayed as the side of gray morality, and anything you did that was morally questionable was pretty much forced on you by Garon.

Now in Birthright, I get to Chapter 12 with the Opera House at Cyrkensia. So as the good guys, our plan is to attack a foreign leader in a neutral country, violating their neutrality and causing untold destruction on the citizens of the this neutral country that has nothing to do with our war? I thought I was supposed to be the good guy now. Thanks Azura.

Here you go Thane:

Shots

-Take a shot every time a topic about Conquest's story gets a new post

-Take a shot every time Conquest's story gets brought up in a topic not necessarily about Conquest's story

Sips:

Take a sip every time one of these arguments hows up:
-The Nohrian siblings are dumb and/or stubborn (two if it's about a sibling that isn't Xander)

-Corrin is said to be cowardly

-Corrin is said to be weak-willed and/or unwilling to act

-Corrin should've rebelled

-The siblings should've rebelled (two if Xander is mentioned specifically)

-Complaints about Corrin and co. never killing the enemy

-The story is said to make Corrin look good despite doing horrible things

-Anything and everything to do with Chapter 15

-Anything and everything to do with Garon

-Anything and everything to do with Iago and Hans

Finish your drink:

-Comparison to a past FE game

-The phrase Mary Sue/Marty Stu is mentioned

-Complaints about fanservice

-Complaints that Corrin is an idiot for not siding with Glorious Nippon Hoshido

(long list)

I. . .got it!

IAGO AND HANS HAVE FOUR LETTERS EACH! Does that qualify for a shot?

On a more serious note. . .

By killing Garon outside of Nohr, it would end the war, and save the most lives. Furthermore, that territory wouldn't be pressured into joining Nohr. So from that PoV, Corrin's right.

Hoshido is supposed to be the straightforward option, not the good one.

Gee, I wonder what's Garon up to?

"Hah! I kicked that puppy three meters! Try beating that, Iago!"

"Bah, you may have won this time, but I still won our last moustache-twirling contest!"

"True, true...want to go and torment my kids?"

Please stop it.

I laughed way too hard at this, it actually hurt.

No more. Just...no more. I won't be able to handle another laughing fit.

Maybe this was Garon's plan all long.

*Sips drink*

[spoiler=Alcohol poisoning]The coward Corrin refused to act as he watched Xander heroically cut down the defenseless peasants, shouting that there was no other way and that justice didn't exist.

"This wouldn't have happened in the Tellius series" Leo said with a pained expression on his face. "Maybe we should rebel or something".

"No! If we do that we'll die! Father would kill us all!" Corrin burst out as he polished Iago's boots. "Don't worry! I will find another way to peace if my name isn't Gary Stu!"

"We love you, Corrin!" said Elise and Camila in unison as they dropped to their knees to "worship" him, and by extension, YOU! The player! You're awesome! See? Those girls are totally into you! What do you mean they're your sisters? Just shut up and enjoy your popularity!

How many sips are that?

One shot, three finished drinks and five sips by my calculations.

Honestly if any of my friends actually played this bloody game I'd definitely suggest doing this the next time we went out; the one who could come up with the funniest, most coherent short story with the highest number of Fates story discussion clichés would win.

In before "what, Thane has friends?!"
