Without philosophy people would just think inside their own cloud but not embrace other clouds; Philosophy introduces ideas everyone has a common ground on, since everone can relate. This creates an open and diverse platform on ideas that strife for a common end that could be the meaning of life, justice and other things one person alone cannot define. Physics, our constitution and Psychology for example used to be just philospohical topics, which nowadays are an important part of life. With abolishing Philosophy we abolish common sense.
