No they didn't (at least i don't think they did but idk, i've only ever seen like one episode of Naruto) but the German Naruto OP ended up becoming a meme because of it's "so bad it's good" status. Ah, I see. I wasn't aware that the song was actually widespread enough to be a meme. XD At least the German dub itself is pretty good. You'd think I'd put it up in my native tongue... but this was one opening they didn't dub over here, actually. If they did... wasn't ever aired on TV, best I know.
