The only catch with it, is it doesn't work so well in Golden Deer due to Claude/Ignatz and Leonie not getting Deadeye. But Ashe or Bernadetta can both do it with ease.

Holy shit, that's so contrived. The poor girl.

To be honest, her second death was one of the worst written stories I've seen. But then again... it's not doing them any favors when they bring her back in a way that basically makes her guilty of genocide.

That sounds hilarious.

Sankuro's needless aggression to everyone is funnier than it should be just because it reminds me of the "I'll kill you" threats here. Shame he's kind of a scumbag.

This is not reassuring. You're the guy who always knows everything about the most unlikely topics.

Plot twist being that I made up Shokkoth for the context of the comment... using the name of a Golem from an old Conan story because believable demon name. All because I wanted to play off the "sin" in the butterman comments. Remarkable how close he came to the truth.

I think this is the first time I'm not deploying Axel in a main mission. All the searchable houses are in the same place, none of them require winning the fight to get the stuff, and Thaddy is required for one of them. Also, no water, so might as well let the man rest.

"No water" I know what you mean, but the picture makes it funnier than it should be.

We came out of that all right, but as you can see, that could've ended far, far more tragically. Not sure if the game rounds up or down, but either way, we were looking at a 20~% chance of losing Percy already. Oh, fuck me...

Problem being you have to master Barbarossa.

The Crossbow guy can actually be provoked from below the hill. Not sure if he actually comes down there since I usually just Rossweisse him from 3 range.
The archer doesn't seem to move at all. The rest I guess has the usual "stay on territory" behavior and won't cross the cliffs. Even though Ward has Climber and could do it just fine.

Scimitars won't ever show up in the shop in Navaron.

I also generally like buying the Saber here, since it's a weapon that's pretty much equal to the Longsword, and I find the supply of Longswords and Broadswords can easily run out.

Are we going to find Reese with a bandana on the enemy side? Owen with a hood? ...Derrick?

Evil Derrick would have been in Christine's sidequest, so we are not going to see that one.

I think that's about everything. Now, only question is: we know from chapter 3 that Mordias had the Apostle, her husband and the order of knights he led murdered and blamed it on Raze, which started the whole war. Why would he do that, if the one who killed the old king was a Razite to begin with? And Roswick did say that the Eight Years of Blood were Mordias's fault...

It could be that Mordias' thought it was too late to accuse the empire of the murder. Revealing the true cause after years of civil war might cause the whole mess to start all over again, considering it meant admitting that the rebels were correct about Arless' innocence the whole time.

Especially since his gear and skills are set up to waste your turns. Shieldfaire ensures he blocks virtually every hit. And the Iron Shield has B durability, so it takes a while to break through that. He's a nasty reminder that in the future you can't expect to beat these guys by just hitting them with physical attacks.

With the way posting on SF works sometimes I wonder.

I mean, I've been writing stuff in spoilers for a couple years now.

Yeesh it wasn't. True though it may be, it really wasn't.

Why, you...! That's the most backhanded agreeance I have ever seen!

It is one of those things to consider, hence why I'd be slow to do it while the console's relevant.

As to version updates, those who are involved in CFW tend to be pretty quick at getting updates for updates to the console. I'm not sure what the current situation is on that, I'd recommend confirming that's the case before starting regardless.

Heck, the optimal thing is to have two consoles, one for modding and one for legit purposes. So inconvenient...

I'm really not remembering it being that bad for combat arts anyways.

Gambits on the other hand....... hoo wee.

Gambits were also bad, and they had the added perk that battalions are extremely wonky visually.

I guess I just got too wound up in trying to respond to your love for it by going "BuT WhAT AboOt dIS BaD ThiNG?" forgetting that 1. it was just rude, 2. maybe that was just being a bit bitter because at least you're not still on the fence

Hey, don't beat yourself up over it. I'd be lying if I said I don't understand, I mean, I feel the exact same way about Three Houses. I see everyone worshipping the ground that game walks on, and all I can think of is how much I'd like to love it so much, but I can't because of the myriad flaws it has. In this case, I'm the worshipper that drives others up a wall!

(keeping in mind I don't count Berwick as an explicit FE game because of all the things Berwick does differently)?

I hear you. This game has enough differences that it can't really be called "bootleg FE" like TRS. But where else am I going to talk about it?

Dammit, I wasn't hoping you wouldn't but I picked too obvious a line.

To be fair, I didn't know that one either. This one was just specific enough that a quick google search led me to the fight.

The movie it's a part of is still a funny watch though.

Oh yeah, it's plenty famous. As with most movies, I've heard of it, I've watched clips and enjoyed them, but I never had the time to sit down and watch it.

Aka reason 1 Berwick's fucked.

Yes.

Oh boy, it's fog of war!

Even if it's clever fog of war, I still predict this won't end well.

Well... Could've ended pretty awfully there, with Sherlock and Lebrus...

(Speaking of, does 3H have enemies?

I... I would imagine so? I mean, I know over half the playtime is spent playing minigames and partaking in VN-styled dates, but there are still some battles here and there that have enemies in 'em...

I suppose you'll confirm no and I don't think so either but I have to ask something to myself: How would they go about fixing enemy AI behaviour so that they didn't have to cheat?)

If you meant to say if 3H has clever FoW like this game, the answer is nope. It's as bad as everywhere else in the FE series.

And I mean, the enemy following the same rules as the player sounds like a start. That shouldn't be so difficult. It's a wonder they haven't ripped it off BWS in the 15 years this game has existed for.

Generic unaware enemy generals.

The stuff midgame's made of.

Eyup.

I mean, that's something that could be cool to see expanded on. Shame this is all we'll get I suppose.

Well, it was a neat bit of worldbuilding, but the game has other priorities.

I mean considering he's fictional that's obvious.

I know you don't mean that, but still.

Come now... ahahahah...

Seriously, where was skill in this?

It meant weapon skill didn't it?

Yes.

Dammit I am still not over it.

No? I found it remarkably easy to get over.

RLqT4D9D_o.pngI've had worse.

Now that I've finally found the source, I can't understand why you keep giving Marcel his lines. They can't scratch Marcel most of the time, much less cut off one of his limbs.

STRONKBOW

STRONKWAIFU-- Ahem, I mean... Yes!

I mean, it can be nice in say, a fog of war map where it'll prevent an enemy from hitting you from behind if they can see you and and you can't.

Unless that's not possible.

But as he can move from place to place faster than Sylvis he could be good to temporarily set them up for cavs or units falling behind as well. A second overwatch is nice.

Hey, I said it isn't "that good", not that it's useless or bad. Overwatch always has its uses, and Sherlock can definitely get some shit done with it, he's just not as good at it as Sylvis.

To use a name like Gilgamesh for this disappoints me.

Agreed. It's like they went out of their way to find the most boring, bland, unimportant, useless miniboss just so they could give him the best name in the entire game.

At least he doesn't really have to be caught.

He doesn't even have a general shield. There's virtually no reason to try it.

Turns out Kaga decided to actually use the fourth faction that first came in Genealogy.

Once.

Not really, we've seen it before. For example, the bandits from that one map where we were recapturing Imperial prisoners were yellow. The Imperials from Thaddy's first map were yellow.

Man Golden Deer getting shafted here and in Heroes? Shocker /s

They were doomed from the start.

Perceval.jpg.

Yes. Sadly, yes.

RULES OF NATURE INTENSIFIES

Ahahahah... All of MGR's music is amazing, but I am fonder of A Stranger I Remain. And, of course, NANOMACHINES: The Theme.

That is one way to just insult him.

Not even an actual mage for it.

Not that there was one in range. Owen was too far away, and he'd have been unreliable anyway.

I did miss the not Rules of Nature one.

That much is true.

Still no ideas for Nanomachines though.

In retrospect, I realized Nielsen surviving Reese's ripper mode was the perfect opportunity for...

I remember it too.

Having two faces is a new one though.

Xane, is that you?

Narcus, maybe?

The horse looks like it's coughing from the poison.

Call up BSPCA now, this monster has to be arrested.

He will get arrested all right. Unless the RNG doesn't cooperate. Then he'll die.

Completely irrelevant that he got hit again.

I mean, it's Arturo. Who cares?

...I care, he's a good unit. Please don't die...!

Truthfully, I might one day.

It's better than FE7. In my opinion, of course. It's a bit of a mixed bag, with high highs and low lows, but I believe the good in it is enough to compensate for the garbage. That's just me, though.

Yeah I probably am, it's just your LPs are so thorough and long that IDK, it gave me that impression of being high-quality. Which it may still be, I mean you do put more effort into your LPs than most people, not that that's a bad thing for other people to not spend 3 hours with every update.

Hey, I put effort into my LPs because I have the time for it. Others aren't so fortunate.

I just hope I one day get to try one.

Come to Spain. Big chunk of land at the end of Europe, you can't miss it.

Heh, I predicted the in America reference.

This is the FE fandom. You cannot say the word "trap" in this place without somebody following suit with "in America!"

I will still chastise people for wasting their money, free to play is one thing but it's so stupidly retarded to pay for them. Specially when they are on the internet and if you really want to honk the horn, you've got the internet for that for better stuff I imagine.

Eh, people can do whatever they want with their money. I don't approve, but it's not my place to force people to do what I say.

Still an incel trait to be so shy around girls but who am I to judge? Many people are shy without being incels. But coupled with what he said, maybe he's just a well-intended dummy, I shouldn't judge.

He does save her whenever he dies, so that's good, at least.

Lol.
inb4 Ruben says I can't boss him around to laugh out loud and instead laughs in softly. Which is not necessarily part of my trap but not because I was trying.

Why do you make me out to be a stuck-up jerk every time?

I may not be Gandhi with his 1-2=9 nuking love. But I have a 10 for nuking and conquering anyways mwahahaha!

Too late, I just got a culture victory. Now you can't nuke me, I have the power of tourism.

Yeah sth like "Pengaius, St. Rubenio and Benice commented on "The league shall fall if I'm in control"" blah blah, I guess it's more when someone replies to a previous update and I ignore them, and then you post the next update which is the coupled together if I got no new notifications and so your pfp doesn't appear.

That's a bit wonky.

Engaging commentary from me ha!

Of course? Of course.

How so? Wouldn't Sienna just be smacked in the head under the guise of "be quiet, woman"?

Given her way with words, I imagine she'd be more likely to send Volcens crying to his room than anything else.

"Volcens! It's simple history! Pay closer attention to your own family's legacy!"
-"I'll have you executed for speaking up against me"
"It's common sense... well, bye bye!"
*teleports away*

Uh... Yes. I can totally see this. Volcens would definitely react like that.

Lol, that's so stupid, what a cry baby.

You're only realizing now?

Well duh lol. I want shit-eating boomer to save the Berwick League.

Sadly, the one chapter where the portrait is actually used requires Christine to be alive, and well, if you take a look at the death counter...

...On second thought, he's a creep who comments on Christine's "child-birthing hips", so perhaps it's best that she won't have to sit through that.

Yay, I achieved comedy!

Very conglaturation !!!

I realized that since he first opened his damn mouth.

It's really not difficult to notice.

Small pp? I mean maybe that's why he seethes so hard.

I mean, all that armor has to be compensating for something.

Oh right, god damn it.

Yeah... We're kinda fucked now. Bernstol's still there, tho, so that's great! Bernstol is Reese's father, if you don't know. People like calling him Bernstool for some reason.

Figured as much, that they were durable that is. +2 speed is epic.

Not as epic as you'd think. Speed is kinda bad in this game. But it has its uses.

Ah of course, this simple trick will make you millions of dollars. It's so dumb.

We call it the "onii-chan" trick.

*Sad boi noises*

*Sadder boi noises* Why holy-bearded man?

Sorry. I couldn't resist.

Pretty much. It's so stupid, but the sheer amount that this mental health problem around the world gets ignored due to other idiotic shit like Trump's newest tweet he took while taking a dump receives is just sad.

No man, just boys being boys. Never mind the fact that they can't even tell anyone because then nobody does anything and the bullies beat the crap out of them. Absolutely wonderful.

Pretty neat, but not as good as Knight's Pride!

I can respect that sentiment.

He's searching for Excalibur, he thought he would find it here.

Ahahahahahahah...

His sprite does look very cool. It reminds me of Harken's official art.

I just love the idle stance. So unnecessary, but so cool.

Imagine getting a waifu with good stats... damn it Rebecca!

You can't really compare Sylvis to Rebecca. Sylvis could have Rebecca's base stats and she'd still be 10 times better simply because of all the other stuff she can do.

I mean how hard is it? Don't you have a special key attached to screenshots?

Yes, but there's a reason I've considered multiple times changing the thread title to "Ruben's Grandpa Reflexes"

Oof, well something is better than nothing,

Yes, that's true.

"Wanna know why I keep blocking? Nanomachines son!" ... yeah ok maybe not.

Yeah, that would've worked with a bit of tweaking.

Oh no how terrifying..? It's just butterflies leaving some powder thing.

And then Arturo loses a third of his health and gains poison. It's pretty damn scary, all right. Especially since poison in this game can take 10 HP in a single turn. Not sure what the exact limit is, but the pace at which poisoned units lose health is awful.

The only catch with it, is it doesn't work so well in Golden Deer due to Claude/Ignatz and Leonie not getting Deadeye. But Ashe or Bernadetta can both do it with ease.

Ignatz is better off as a mage, anyway. I know, it's not his most optimal path, but look at him! He looks like he was born to be a mage! He even has dorky glasses! How can that be an archer? He can't even see properly!

Kefka intensifies.

Turns out he was dancing mad because he had sand in his boots and couldn't get them off.

To be honest, her second death was one of the worst written stories I've seen. But then again... it's not doing them any favors when they bring her back in a way that basically makes her guilty of genocide.

Goodness...

Sankuro's needless aggression to everyone is funnier than it should be just because it reminds me of the "I'll kill you" threats here. Shame he's kind of a scumbag.

...Should I be worried a scumbag reminds you of me?

I didn't mean the face. Not that anyone could tell with all the hair on it.

Well, you should try the face too. It's a fun face to make. No, I'm not insane, why?

12 seconds.

That's... longer than I would've expected from you.

Why does Marth have Squidward's nose?

Because my artistic talent is, uh... subpar.

Yeah. All I'd need to do is take the quote, put it with another quote from the TRS LP.... and it's done.
Shame I'm too lazy.

But you aren't spanish! You don't have paella to eat and bullfighting to watch! You've no excuses, none at all!

It's just they're both morons with a warped/paranoid worldview that resulted in needless deaths. I know that could be applied to a lot of people/characters. But in this case I think it's justified.

To be honest, I'd hesitate to compare them. Much as Volcens is a horrendous person, he hasn't murdered anyone with his own hands. Yet. Not to mention, he seems willing to listen to Roswick on occassion. It's just, well, Herman's quick to intercede.

Plot twist being that I made up Shokkoth for the context of the comment... using the name of a Golem from an old Conan story because believable demon name. All because I wanted to play off the "sin" in the butterman comments. Remarkable how close he came to the truth.

Oh wow. You are devious!

"No water" I know what you mean, but the picture makes it funnier than it should be.

I mean, I guess there technically is water in the map, but I don't think Axel would get much out of swimming into the ocean.

Not to be confused with Vesteria Saga.

Pffffft... That should've been Vester's portrait filename.

Today on funny out of context quotes. Amazing the difference a qualifier or two make.

Poor, poor Owen... As if his life wasn't shit enough as it is.

Rub it in why don't you.

I will. Heheheheh...

I should hope not. It'd be weird him talking to himself in the third person. (Can I ever resist)

I like how I made a simple comment sharing a small bit of trivia with you all, and everyone's first instinct is to rife on my wording.

Adrenalin is a hell of a drug.

Quite amazing, what it can do.

The bane of LP'ing. Unexpected potentially fatal situations.

Not fun. No, actually, it is fun, otherwise I wouldn't do it. But still, I can tell you my heart pounds hard when I'm playing Berwick for the LP.

Maybe he heard tales of Axel... and fled assuming anyone checking houses with Sinon must be him?

To be fair, this is the first time since chapter 3 that anyone other than Axel has checked a house.

If I learn from your example I'll get even more undeserved praise than I already do. Brilliant.

Follow my lead. I know what I'm doing. Believe me!

Shocking.

If only he hadn't ruined it afterwards...

Nielsen's about to be blown away.

Hah!

Not to forget the power of the elements. Also, it obviously was surprising for him if you had the element of surprise. Or else you wouldn't have.

He had the element of surprise and the element of the elements against him. He was doomed from the start.

I know that feeling. Everyone else living on cliffhangers that are set in stone to you.

To be honest, I do feel great satisfaction when people expect the worst from me, yet I know that quite the opposite actually happened.

Chapter 5 intensifies

Ah crap.

Oh goody, you're back! You also missed the announcement that warnings will be handed out to people who reply with long posts and don't put them in spoilers. If it's not too late, please keep in mind that you have to do that now.

I missed the "Beard of Betrayal" sidequest. Or "Beardtrayal". I don't remember the exact title.

Don't worry, I made sure that nobody missed the fact that Ward was with an Imperial squad that time.

A bit late for that considering they already took the ground from underneath you all the way from Leia to the Lowlands. Not to mention Bornia.
This whole conversation sounds all kinds of strange. Treating basic strategies like they are some sort of rare superpower.

It's like Ace Attorney. Edgeworth's lawyer superpower: BASIC LOGIC

And she has such a good strength growth too. Well, by the standards of this game at least.

RNG-screwed Sylvis sounds like a cruel joke. But I'm used to those by now.

I can confirm that he comes down.

...Wait, what? You can have the Rossweisse already? I've been waiting on it for ages! What happened, did I miss the material!?

I'm on my 3rd run and I never even noticed there were throwing axes with build in crit in this game.

Right? It's just fascinating, the little things in this game.

Why not throw away the Imperial Axe? You can throw away personal possessions, you just can't trade or sell them.

...Aaahhh, yes. I missed being rightfully criticized for my every small blunder, and offering lame jokes as a poor attempt to reflect them, because I can never come up with a defense, given that you're almost always right.

Owen is good, though. I'll die on this hill if I have to.

Because of course there are enemies with Deathmatch and a Miracle Charm. Don't want players to think they found a clever exploit by giving a Miracle Charm to Volo.

Kaga is always one step ahead when it comes to being a dickhead.

Good luck with that. You can't Deathmatch someone who can't counter. So unless Sylvis switches to a Crossbow, you have to dish out medium sized beat downs like the rest.

And, well, there's also the fact he couldn't reach her.

Says the guy who bought the Zanbato with it's even worse accuracy and durability.
Also 40 accuracy is the same as the Longspear that you love so much.

...Okay, I may've made a mistake or two. But when I kill a horse with it and save someone from getting lanced, you'll be eating those words!

......

...don't count on it, though. Don't want you starving to death waiting for the word meal.

The Scimitar is a crafting material for the Harperion. Pretty nifty sword. Hits twice with great power, accuracy and a ton of crit.
Scimitars won't ever show up in the shop in Navaron.

Okay, I fucked up! I get it!

I also generally like buying the Saber here, since it's a weapon that's pretty much equal to the Longsword, and I find the supply of Longswords and Broadswords can easily run out.

Oh, please... I made all the wrong choices, didn't I? Unsurprisingly, but...

The accuracy might be trash, but he does have Supporter.

Sheesh...

Evil Derrick would have been in Christine's sidequest, so we are not going to see that one.

Dang it, that's true! Oh, well. We did see Goebbels, at least. He was just Derrick with his head tilted to the side. And, y'know, called Goebbels.

Now you know it's not actually Ward. Ward can't be injured.

The fact that we beat him is proof enough that it couldn't be Ward.

Famous last words.

Bernard should've known better than to expect anything from Volcens.

We do super meet him next chapter.
Those crazy eyes are interesting, though. Maybe he is Webber's son?
 Stx9k60n o

I really do have to wonder why Kaga was so fond of the "psychotic old fart" design.

Hxq4hdqj oYou don't think it's your place to speak on such issues? Weren't you the one who pushed his majesty to summon...

Jhvoux35 o I AM JUST A HUMBLE SERVANT OF HIS MAJESTY.

Honestly though, I remember there being a moment that's almost exactly this. It's hilarious.

It could be that Mordias' thought it was too late to accuse the empire of the murder. Revealing the true cause after years of civil war might cause the whole mess to start all over again, considering it meant admitting that the rebels were correct about Arless' innocence the whole time.

That much is true... So instead, he murdered the Apostle, her husband, his whole cadre of knights, and indirectly himself by starting the war with Raze that eventually took his life.

...Mordias really was the worst, huh...

Maybe should have asked Warrenheit about the limits of Volcens' stupidity or lack thereof.

I just like how you reacted to this line twice.

4trohhnq o  I am quite impressed by your sense of dramatic timing.

H3clkvy8 o Thank you, Lord Bernard. We have been waiting in front of the door for 20 minutes to get our entrance just right.

Pffffff... The image of this is just hilarious.

H3clkvy8 oAny second now... Any second now, men... He's gonna drop the red flag any second now...

Zig1fg6v o...but my home is still occupied by the empire...

Being Sienna is suffering.

Zig1fg6v o You do realize we can't possible win this war if you remove every person who is more competent then you are? I love you, dear brother, but you must accept that this is a very low bar that a LOT of people pass.

2xdxkwpj o I am very secure in myself.

These two together are berwicksaga.txt in its purest form.

2xdxkwpj o ...VERY secure in myself.

Ahahahahahahah... Ahhh, I still despise that line. I swear, Sienna's biggest mistake in this game was not pushing him off the balcony when he was standing so close to the border.

Yeah. That one is pretty strange considering how far away from Navaron the Sinnon Knights can operate within a mere month.
Maybe Aethin mistook 6 weeks for 6 months or something.

Could be. The 6 months thing always sounded a bit sketchy. Well, no matter. Perhaps Bernard just had a better horse than Reese.

Ps4nmuuw o Performers? The kind of people who drug young girls and train them as dancers?

Xhqpmjzv o What? No.

Emkzrccq o We haven't been doing that for years. Turns out offering to pay people makes them want to work for you without any need for abduction, intimidation or torture. It's even cheaper then bribing tavern owners to drug their customers for you.

Xhqpmjzv o Indeed. Because of that I'm still sitting on dozens of bottles that I have no idea what to do with.

Bwahahahahahahahahah... Ahh, I'm glad they've learned, after all these years since TRS.

I mean, that's literally why she is in the library right now.

She better put that training to good use and start getting magic, then, if she doesn't want to die.

It's a really nice hill for story events. Sure would be a shame if something were to happen to it.

Heheheheheh... Ahhh...

I guess that's why Aethin referred to Maris as female in the mission description.

In the knit cap's description too, I just stealthily corrected it.

Actually Thaddy takes priority for this one. So you can simply chose who gets the quest by hiring Thaddy before or after accepting it.

Oh.

Shows how much I've used Thaddy, hahah.

The happiness needed for being recruited in chapter 8 is merely 1. You only need 10 happiness to recruit him earlier then that.

I was wondering if I could recruit him before then by any chance.

That's a nice line. Too bad you have to die.

He's not the most forgettable dude, that much is true.

Not to mention the archer with Battle Cry hiding in the dark.
Yeah, I... I discovered that one the hard way.

Love that smear during his attack. Looks fantastic in motion.
Agreed. It's a great animation.

With how much she is showing off, you'd think she would actually be good at using crossbows.

Well--

Well, she is most certainly the best living Crossbow user of this party, at least.

Why, you piece of...! Stop it! Let her rest already!

Sending Sherpa all alone into an enemy fort while his avoid is reduced to 0 by his Greatsword.

Yeah, uh... thanks for the reminder.

And then he just got Percy'd in one turn.

2 minutes ago, Benice said:

Am I the only one having issues with quoting in a spoiler?

Yeah, it sucks. What I do when I reply to other LPs is I do everything normally without spoilers, then at the very end I copypaste the stuff into a spoiler. Far more convenient.

  Hide contents

UGH, LET'S TRY SOMETHING ELSE.

Now watch, and learn, here's the deal

Huh, who knew that everyone in my army other than Reese and Ward had weakness?

Ahahahah... Well, not weakness, but cripplings are more likely on player units. For... some reason. Kaga loves the player, is the reason.

See?!

I think I do, yes!

That moment when you think I'm normal and then I mention a band named Barenaked Ladies. (They're the ones who sing the big bang theory theme song, by the way.)

My guy, if that is your one call to weirdness, then I think I have you beat.

I REFUSE! I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL FAYE HAS BEEN DEEMED AS NOT A TRAP!

You bastard! Why must the "drop the links in a completely random fashion" trick work every time!?

...Now excuse me while I chill listening to that.

Perceval.png

The crit nonwithstanding.

This guy is really annoying. I was still trying to take him down until turn 19. Of course, I wasn't able to escape in time.

And then I brought him down in one turn. Turns out Perceval is good for something after all.

The second time, I just Faye + Levin sword astra'd him. Toasted in one round.

I wish I had Astra already. But I am not nearly as fond of her as you are.

...I just realized, while writing this line, that there isn't a "aren't / isn't" equivalent for "am". Come now, english language, what's so wrong with "amn't"?

I REFUSE!

Okay, then hope for the worst, then! I would do the same with you, but it's difficult for your thing to sink any lower.

...I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, seriously! Please forgive me...!

Still misses everything:

Spoiler
Hxclqnbs o

The other day, we had freed Vester. It has taken him and his cronies three days to notice that the door is now open and Nielsen lies in a pool of his own blood.

8avaxokx oThey have? I didn't expect Vanmilion to be so thoughtful...

Lv5cqlf7 oActually, milord, their messenger

Lgjkwhcy o ...Messenger? What? You're stuck in this fort! What, do they allow you to receive mail in here? Wow, they were more considerate than I thought...

Lv5cqlf7 osaid they were the Knights of Sinon.

8avaxokx oThe Knights of Sinon?! Who's commanding them?

Lv5cqlf7 oLord Reese of Sinon, it seems.

8avaxokx oOh? Margrave Bernstol's son, then? I'll have to thank him properly once this is all over. All units, prepare to escape! Head west out of town, and then we'll take the northern road to Narvia!

Suhrazk1 o

Lgjkwhcy oAnd how do you plan to do that? You, as well as every one of them, are at half your health at best. You are also all unarmed. It's me that's going to ensure nobody dies, don't steal the credit from me, y'hear?! I'll kill you!

Lv5cqlf7 oYes, Lord Vester!

Ijldi1df o

Ah! Under attack already!

Ddxjrnvc o

Hah! Yeah, as if. Oh wow, I caught a cool frame even among all of Marcel's cool frames.

Nllpbnbp oBvztrbft o

I know, weird that Sherlock Jeiganed a kill for Sylvis, but I really really want her to reach level 10 today. The sooner she's in our team forever, the better for us all.

Excellent.

O2jg5ldg o

Uhhh, Perceval one-rounds with the Dire Thunder!

7p0rbwz1 oF9nfznv9 o

You can't be serious. You can't be fuckin' serious! Percevaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal!!

5jhd2edn o

Nice! Excellent! Perfect! Now you only need 19 points to promote to get +1 to your stats! Wonderful! Totally worth missing for this!

Bfyw4u6d oSzltxgdi o

Ward dismounts to avoid horse damage and picks up the spare shield I had him grab from Clifford.

9p8vrgie o

Ohhhh, Jesus, that's bad...

Htbx3jei o

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA this guy's gotta die.

5ytt2cmv o

Gotta keep this in mind, too. It could prove to be a troublesome surprise.

Yytxdb7r o

Reese, go and support Ward! Did you know there are actually Thracia-styled supports in this game when the right characters are within 2 hexes of one another? Yeah! A whopping 4 hit for Ward. Other bonuses include... Arthur to Ruby, 1 hit. Yeah. Don't really matter much. There are a couple of cool ones, but that's it.

Ziewstor o

Sigh... Perceval, I swear... His accuracy isn't even that bad! I don't understand how he can do this every time for three runs!

Ynf4rdr5 o

All right... it's about time, I suppose. Gilgamesh moves last, so I can move Arthur later. I also double-checked to make sure he can't kill any of Vester's knights.

Rdhsmy06 o

I just need to get lucky... If he hits and doesn't injure, I'm pretty screwed. If we can get an injury with this first blow, he'll be left with 2 HP from lightning. With a x2 cripple rate, that's more or less a guaranteed capture. I just need this to work...!

Bqcmceuc oY8ylfl1k o

Yes! Awesome! It actually worked, I can't believe it! Hahah! You're the best, Owen.

M3gie0cx o

Oh, this dude moves.

Fbvwe8f4 o4kqapxmf o

For all the good it did him.

Danyio8h oRbqzrivm o

All right, time for Arthur to run the hell away from there.

3psaw2rl o

This guy is the most hurt out of Vester's units. Let's guard him.

Dwqopgzp o

Oh. Gilgamesh completely ignored the two knights in his range and aimed for Sherpa. Sure, whatever rocks your boat, mate.

Bizmvkhi oOcgp3pqn oQgktzyxg o

Paaaaah... more poison.

T7sza5r7 o

Thaddy continues to run towards the town. He'll be selling that treasure he got to purchase things at the shops.

Gkfpb9jw oPcy2kfpk o

Marcel will help fight off this dude, and next turn he'll trigger the Overwatch.

Chfurw8l oBeoq9m12 o

Damnit, die already!

0zqiqa3l oVn3m5oon oV690q9gp oNf51vbb7 o

See, Marcel? That's how it's done. Learn from your fellow blond.

Kbdghfmq o

Ward continues to move forward. There is one last boss in the map, guarding the exit, and I'd rather fight him with Ward than anyone else.

Ljple0qp o

Hmmm... That might work, if I'm lucky.

Nsjqbw10 oCw5gzgag o

Of course not.

Im0v3keh o

That's something, at least. One perk Sherlock has that I don't think I've pointed out before is that his promotion is pretty painless to get. Beyond feeding him 11 levels, his bow threshold of 30 is really easy to reach.

S70a1tgb o

Half the town is ours.

Kjn8g5rs o

Jesus! Gaah! 9 HP...!

Wx2n2ljf o9hsrc64v o

Oh, shoot! Gilgamesh caught one of the knights as he fled!

Nbniv30o oDoz1pnfr o

Pfhahah! Ahahah! Hwahahah! Good job, Gilga. Your last chance to accomplish something, and you failed miserably.

Gufmwj4r oEhmiqjns o

Goodbye!

N6w687i3 o

You can't hear it, but there's an ear-piercing sound accompanying the spell.

Ocb6n6wa o

He's ours! Might as well let Owen have him. I don't really want anyone else to retreat again.

Whuvvhir oU1wqemhg o

As Thaddy runs to catch up, Marcel equips one of his good shields and braces for impact.

P4padlz5 oQeu3hbwl o

Good lucky getting through that, stinky archer!

Yiojadkg o

Oi, that's not the right amount of bolts!

M2lcfygd oHkdxsoch o

Hah! He didn't even flinch!

Pwrniwv7 o

And he got a point on top of that. Amazing.

Kgbhyblv oI7rjdrfk o

And now, for the counter-attack!

Xg8o9owb o

Oki-dokie, let's try this again.

Godq5mil o5l4xxfox o

Thank you. Thank you for wasting 4 uses of Dire Thunder on this one asshole, but... Sigh, I'll take it for what it's worth.

Well.

Mvdxrize o

Oh, dear. Another one.

Not nearly as dangerous, but that could be trouble nonetheless.

Pf3xjbqv oCkgkzctt o

Great, thanks. It was about time.

J8op5y2v oTsv6swna o

At this point I remembered that reinforcements will appear from behind. The knights can take a hit or two, but best be safe than sorry. Ward is going to cover the rear.

Qzijmc2t oScsytiet oCg7yrh35 o

Being able to enemy phase is another of the Gram's perks, although it's better suited for a powerful offense.

Vdru1hwl o6fcx0uvy o

And that'll be another kill for Sylvis.

Bnrum0qg o39zuy3aj o

Getting there...

Xbl23jqk oTyyoej1h o

Gwaaaah...! Berwick poison! Jesus, he's in legitimate danger of dying!

Uiaxnisr o7xcy7uzp o

We'll deal with that in a moment. For now, Reese advances. If you're wondering why him instead of Marcel, it's because this boss has a magical weapon. In retrospect, that... Didn't really make a difference at all, but eh.

Dwx7ogss o

There he is! Qadi!

7uuoos41 o

Yet another weapon boss.

Dlftdezn o8dbklp9f o

Hoo... oof! 9 damage...!

We got a Gilgamesh. Man, imagine if this game had Fates-styled capture. We could play as Gilgamesh! No joke, that'd actually be legitimately cool. Dark magic in this game is awesome. Starting with darkmend. It's about as powerful as physic, but it has 5 hexes of range instead of 3. It's great. A shame that dark magic is only good for Erzheimer.

K3b4zedn o9umjwuhl o

Might as well toss a 2 use heal.

Wspp67lc o

Now... Qadi is a knight, so he can't traverse cliffs well. That's handy.

8st6jm5q o

Arthur hurries into the church to heal up.

Eq64hf7d oU7ve82wt o

Nice. Sherpa will probably follow suit.

6vikzaqa o

You've done enough. Let Marcel handle this.

Enho3yl7 oIrldmrmv o

Aaaand more healing.

Uwbfkdfj oRgl7nk5v o

Gwaaah! Damn, he's good!

J8ow3v3v oXdwa48qo o

So many vulneraries down the drain... These don't come cheap, you know!

W4vte4zp o

Percy. Seriously. I need you to hit this. You miss and we're kinda screwed. Actually, not really, I mean, he's just one guy, but... Please.

Bvkmf3pa oMeoh8mee o

Ah, flashbang!

Zli4i3ao o

Good! Surprisingly enough!

Svjbura8 o6qsdcy50 o

Using one-two, Sherlock fires two arrows at Qadi, dealing 2 damage. Yeah. This guy.

Kawaarvf o

Sylvis time. If she can get through the shield, it's over.

Fvimgsqt o

If not, it'll be over next turn.

Wexzmewv o

Never mind! Turns out we're fucked, because she missed and now we can't finish him reliably before he moves.

Jq8f1jgc oSduj2hgk o

The knights have reached the town. Well, except for that one that's lagging behind. Get a move on, man! We don't have all night!

Aecdoyfo o

If nothing else, might as well try to cover Sylvis with Arthur. But then there's Perceval...

4l4qgcnp o

Dang it, reinforcements from the south!

Sytfwcu1 o

It can't be helped. Rapid crossbow, it's showtime!

21snkapg o3q4deeyy o

Shoot!

Gkkbbtvw o

Phew... She managed to hit him with the exact amount of damage she needed!

4jizeuxd o

What a story, Mark!

Cxznydtr o

What? For real? 90 EXP? Well, that's just not how it's going to go.

Lqyhcdxw o

Everyone is hidden!

Aiuets0u oVmhsplys o

I'm going to send Arthur to retrieve the costume.

Xpzhwtnl oY49ymwlb o

Or, y'know, I'm gonna send him to get speared.

Eeufwwoc oTgqcybno o2apmteez o

He succeeded. I am proud of you, Arturo.

Kmchpcis o

Reese and Sherlock, with nothing better to do, advance cautiously.

Tgvxj65l o

Thaddy has made it to the shops! Let's inspect them all first and choose second.

Mn9d7hgj oMinsnahv oWftsf66s o

Materials, a bag, good weapons, a statbooster... Those are all cool things, but I only have so much budget

48f5qwez oTe99xaky o

For the time being, let's buy the materials, because you can never go wrong with materials.

Td119tlb o

Now, Percev-- Ohhh, goddamnit! I hate it when enemies randomly have 1 magic!

Hsmhpbb9 o

Go run, then.

P4dsxi4x o

Horseman can only reach Marcel or Arthur, so it's a matter of picking his poison.

Popehzw1 o

Holy shit, dude, how did you manage to lag behind so much? They're a good two turns ahead of you! How'd you do it? You were the one closest to the gate at the start!

Jphbkiic o

Also, the camera focused on the fog for a moment after ending the turn. Thus, enemies have appeared around here.

L3d0mwef o

Warm will give them a ward welcome. I mean... Well, you know what I mean. For now, Sherpa's healed up a bit.

0o8clufm o

I think it'll be up to Sylvis to get this kill. There'll be more reinforcements, but I'd rather have her safely at level 10 without having to risk getting her captured.

Gfzuxfac o

Next turn will be it.

0bcibmzh o

The knights might move in front of him, but with Overwatch gone, he'll have to pick between shooting one of them or setting up another Overwatch. Either way, it's only one bolt they're gonna eat, and I checked - they all survive the damage.

Dphku33d oMvgrmnnf oHnlmjf6n oUxdnq2oj o

I love Arthur's sword swings. Look at that, he looks like he broke his spine in three different spots just to slash that guy open.

Y6wgosoz o

Spine or no, he made it.

Yjntyaiq o

Mx3eqvmw o...You're here for the theater troupe? Ah, you must be here about the costume that they left! I was wondering when they were going to come and get it. Here you go!

Elttapex o9wavydyb o

Here we go, sidequest nº 2 is done.

Avxzxspj o7hqpp9sd o

Okay, so it's 22 HP plus some defense against 22 attack. Easily survived. By the way, there's one example of the very in-depth ingame tutorials that I haven't been showing. The game does a good job explaining itself... If you actually give it the chance to.

16fze2li oW0s9d0lb o

Yeah, thought so. Even if he's crippled, he's next to the escape point, so he's good to go.

5qbcahax o

Thaddy purchased an apollyon and iron arrows with increased accuracy. Everything else was good too, but this bow is great, and Sylvis's own copy is already yellow.

Wqcrvtk1 o

Getting a bit crowded there. Imagine living in one of those homes. Just waking up in the middle of the night to the sound of heavy armor and screams, coming down to see what's going on and finding some guy with a crossbow standing in your living room firing arrows at knights through the window. At least I'm assuming that's what's supposed to be happening here. Really doubt that guy's literally standing on the house. Or, you know, that the units are the same size as the houses. Though the idea of Sylvis being as big as a house is certainly--

Okay, I think that's enough commentary on this one image.

Ub9c33sf o

There, see? I think I've a most fabulous idea.

6ltamlpe oWc7km0r0 o

First step, Ward rekts him.

Ygzvdtwt oWamfsexj o

And now, he retreats just barely out of sight onto this chokepoint for cavs. He's definitely going to have to cross that hex if he wants to advance, and then... Hehehehe...

P8qluxds oDovjuuoy o

There, this guy's down.

Tmgronp6 o

Get something good again?

02h9qhgu o

Yes! More power, more! As if you weren't godly enough already!

6ythgssg o

Ahahah! He fell right into my trap, and you know the rest.

Lb0ygvga o

Ahh, the wonders of Berwick Saga fog. You actually get to troll the enemy just like they would!

Xk3zrk1p o9ipdgmvx o

...You... You...!

Very well, RNGoddess! You win this round. But this isn't over!

Alpkaem8 o

...Oh, what? Seriously?!

In5gvisc o

Here, have this piece of crap.

Rvnlvcq7 o

Thanks. This has Ruby's name all over it.

Pzkjwolm o

Before I forget, let's do sidequest nº 3.

Unkobvjz o

Euilmzmc oHm...? It doesn't look like anyone's been here for weeks... What's this on the table...?

By1bv42o oMwbczzzd o

A shame he can't just fire the arrowheads. But nah, we have to get them to Bluck first.

Vzsk213b o

Eyy, first knight is out!

Gnt0rxvx oGk3oqwxc o

You! I must erase you so as to quash the memory of that embarrassment!

Hfpyewgo o

Sigh... About time I missed a pop-up, no?

Dbmruhi1 o

Owen could probably catch up to the team, but by then it'll be turn 20, and with all those enemies approaching, I think...

Oy3tmrmf o

Yeah, screw it. He's leaving already. His job is mostly done, anyhow.

Aghm0zpr o

One more and we'll begin to profit in tactics points.

Gsjr7vbt o8uxqjm98 o

I do need to get rid of you-- uhhh, a free horse! Gimme gimme gimme!

7cp89bdm oEw6zenbu o

Sorry, pal. But you're in the way, and you have a free horse! That's one grand I'll be saving!

Wtbgz1sc o

First tactics point is got!

3gqpoq6c oZtvmb1a1 o

More enemies...

Ujnktwbd oG6b4qrma o

Oh, goddamnit, Marcel!

Utn3jacp oFpsncojd o

Hah! At least he couldn't do anything with his second chance at life.

29hmzz9y o

For some reason, instead of hiding back in the fog, he just... sort of walked his horse into the forest. Fine by me, just means I get to...

Sjvlr99m oNxdarhxu o

Take it for myself!

Xqmiwwet o

Good, good. That'll do in a pinch.

Xibegptj oY41lqhim o

And now... well, there's not much to do but wait for the final knight to escape, and then do it ourselves.

Ghmgur7b o

That's it.

Efavpztu o

Ah, an enemy.

Niufpjzz o21twxdi5 o

He goes boom.

Jdeftrgu oUnmqvjcx o

I'd like to give Marcel another level today.

1uja0rti oUafhjymo oD1wewtl7 o

Hmm... He's a bit far from 100, but... Maybe.

Qbtuigyl oKbiabro4 o

Ward advances to reveal another guy. He's much like the last heavy knight with Counter.

Lsicmoow o99qkmxws oXra0oks2 oBnv5zaac o

Ward has pilums, though, so no need to eat a counter.

Mwqg1vtu o

Hah! He even walked himself to us, even though he couldn't see! How brave... And how foolish!

Jrxtu7b5 o

Might as well try a capture. That's some nice gear he's got.

1hizq4mp oRroxp5km o

Nope.

Hpioh3o2 o

Why do I always forget about these things... Gah!

Evgzbrxi o

That's good, at least. He's gotten a fair big of progress with his levels today. He just needs to reach that happiness threshold to be permanently recruited, and then we can work on his promotion. Yes, that's the order in which it's going to happen. I think I've mentioned it before, but Arthur and Ruby both need to level up once after being permanently recruited before they have a chance to promote.

Zib6frsn oOe9rgq6e o9jy5flq6 o

Great. One more kill will be it.

Mmi0y7uh o

Yeah, yeah, calm down, will you, Reese? I know what I'm doing. I, I think.

Jz2qlv07 o

Oh boy, another enemy! Just what I needed! Wait, what does he have...?

Uk2s1p9h o

Pilums, eh? Well, that's just awfully convenient, isn't it?

Hxilh42z o

...okay, so I made two different blunders here. First, I meant to Guard Thaddy so he could remain exposed after stealing the unequipped pack of pilums. However, I completely forgot that Guard stops working when the receiver does any action other than wait, so this pre-emptive guarding would've been useless.

Of course, none of this mattered because I missclicked and Guarded Perceval instead. Sigh...

Vw0nnvlr o

Well, fuck it. Let's just do this. Recklessly endanger Thaddy's life in a FoW map for a pack of fucking pilums.

5tqhyint oVeemq6el oNujyknns oNrmwmul7 o

Sherlock kneels to aim his first Double-Shot when he's dismounted. As with most cool things, I was too slow to catch it.

P1ewgdbc oDnqi5hj1 o

Anyway, there we go. Marcel pointed his sword slightly towards the sky and that killed the enemy.

Intf4cbx o3vurjdwf o

Pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffhwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah... Yes! Speed on my knights, yes! That's exactly what I want for them!

Ahahahah... Hoo... Well, that's level 9, at any rate. 6 more, and he's good to go. Literally, as he'll get more movement to, y'know, go.

5dmfc54j o

Well, that was a victory.

Grmvqlht o

Oh boy. A miniboss two turns from the end. Thanks, Berwick Saga.

Nw9iuiai o

Marcel has to haul ass to the escape point right now. If he doesn't, he's getting captured.

3rtucg0y o

This guy popped out of the fog and ran into Ward.

Qyz41o0o oKblnr7ds o

More!? More fuckin' WpSkill!? What sort of joke is this?! A twisted one?! You don't need these! I mean, fine by me, but this is so stupid!

Y2jyspuh oFks7q7dk o

While Thaddy runs toward the escape point, Arthur Desperates the dude.

Sxjst1vq oAi0tg3vi o

Dang it!

Gsuyrjel o

Oh wow, another level? Goodness, I really have been using Arthur a ton today, haven't I? Consider this compensation for all the verbal abuse, friend.

Hg49lsum o

...Ergh... Do you want more verbal abuse, Arturo? Is that it? I mean, not judging, it's just, uh... This isn't really the best way to go about it? You could just... ask?

S1jxvrjf o

Neat.

Tnwnqmw3 o

Ah! Martin!

Cyjs4awl o7q17qz9t o

That's a neat shield. Increases defense against wind magic. I want it.

7ijhfu0h o

If you could not harm it too much, Reese, it'd be wonderful.

Eyujrhkc o

Handle what? You cannot counterattack with that thing!

Fxvzkdsy o7ercx2ho o

Fss.

Nqharmln o

FSSSSSSSSSS! FSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

9n1vflo8 o

DISAPPOINTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!

Ogspjxdr o

Well, guess that's where the next repairstone's going. Urrrgggh...

Ivdnm3h6 oVt1fkrfa o

Ah, Ward!

Yiveugqf o

Okay, not too bad.

Kmj23rlp o

Well, fuck me... I don't think I'll be able to kill him now.

Ma5t4lds o

First off, Marcel has to leave, or else.

Utqkjbgu oSmi5bude o

Here's the idea: I'll...

...To be honest, I don't know what I was thinking. At this point it was obvious that I wasn't going to kill Martin.

Mqrpu5vn o90iuuk28 o

And I mean, at this point he's tanked so many hits that the shield's probably not looking so good anymore.

Gsktgh7r o

Well, everyone who can withdraw has.

J0y92grj o

The next turn, everyone else withdrew.

0thxtlru oIwmehloy o

I mean, I could probably kill Martin right now, but then Arthur will be captured. The shield is at yellow durability and it's not even an Erzheimer item or anything...

Wjnk1ns6 oJcficmph o

Yeah, fuck it. This is a waste, but at least I had the foresight to make sure Arthur would have a way out.

Zet6iv84 oY82ot0xw o

And it's over! Wow... That went really well! I botched up the end a bit, but at least we didn't waste anything more than an escapestone. And other than that, everything went perfectly! Amazing! Congratulations, me!

Next time, we speak with Vester and find out what kind of person he is when he's not in prison. Look forward to it, expect great things, and above all, farewell!

Heck, the optimal thing is to have two consoles, one for modding and one for legit purposes. So inconvenient...

True fact: That's my 3DS situation.

Gambits were also bad, and they had the added perk that battalions are extremely wonky visually.

Bad?

There's still a bug in the game where it straight up crashes! Nearly a year later!

I'm okay about hearing about more DLC just so that they'd also bother to fix that crap.

53 minutes ago, Saint Rubenio said:

Hey, don't beat yourself up over it. I'd be lying if I said I don't understand, I mean, I feel the exact same way about Three Houses. I see everyone worshipping the ground that game walks on, and all I can think of is how much I'd like to love it so much, but I can't because of the myriad flaws it has. In this case, I'm the worshipper that drives others up a wall!

When was I particularly worshipping though?

That aside, I failed to apologise for two to three parts worth of bitching. So sorry for that.

54 minutes ago, Saint Rubenio said:

If you meant to say if 3H has clever FoW like this game, the answer is nope. It's as bad as everywhere else in the FE series.

And I mean, the enemy following the same rules as the player sounds like a start. That shouldn't be so difficult. It's a wonder they haven't ripped it off BWS in the 15 years this game has existed for.

I mean, IS did make AW: Days of Ruin, so they should at least be able to rip off themselves?

Also, D'oh on the typo in the previous line I chose not to quote..

56 minutes ago, Saint Rubenio said:

Now that I've finally found the source, I can't understand why you keep giving Marcel his lines. They can't scratch Marcel most of the time, much less cut off one of his limbs.

Because he matches the personality.

King Arthur might just be too OP anyways, maybe everyone else would have been like twigs on BK's armour.

56 minutes ago, Saint Rubenio said:

Agreed. It's like they went out of their way to find the most boring, bland, unimportant, useless miniboss just so they could give him the best name in the entire game.

As someone who's played FF5 I am particularly disappointed.

57 minutes ago, Saint Rubenio said:

Not really, we've seen it before. For example, the bandits from that one map where we were recapturing Imperial prisoners were yellow. The Imperials from Thaddy's first map were yellow.

Slipped my mind.

Come to Spain. Big chunk of land at the end of Europe, you can't miss it.

Yes Ruben I know my geography. Going off of memory, to the east you have France but along the border Andorra is encircled between these two, going northeast from France you find Belgium and continuing there's the Netherlands. Go south east of the Netherlands to get to Germany and then between Germany and France there's Luxembourg. However as Luxembourg is completely surrounded by France and Germany, Switzerland is also connected to both but it is not only rapped between them, it also is between Italy to the south and Austria to the west. Monaco is also surrounded by France but not Landlocked. To not go on for longer, Vatican City and St. Marino are landlocked and fully inside of Italy.

This would be more impressive if not for the fact I enjoy History and that makes Geography fall into place. Plus it's Europe, ask me about Africa and it's harder.

Wait why did we never make this connection? Volcens, is just a... Volcel! Well not really but also yes. Incels are involuntary celebates, so they want to not be virgins but they are virgins and that pisses them off. Volcels are virgins voluntarily but usually also do it because they find women yucky or disguting/inferior to spend time on.

And then Arturo loses a third of his health and gains poison. It's pretty damn scary, all right. Especially since poison in this game can take 10 HP in a single turn. Not sure what the exact limit is, but the pace at which poisoned units lose health is awful.

Is the 1/3 of health lost a scripted thing?

Yeah, it sucks. What I do when I reply to other LPs is I do everything normally without spoilers, then at the very end I copypaste the stuff into a spoiler. Far more convenient.

Unbolded is Benice, Bolded is St. Rubenio.

I sometimes do have trouble with that but it's happened to me always before. Like sometimes selecting things and the quote button doesn't appear. I just copy paste them into a quote box anyways though.

So, blocking with shield doesn't nullify damage it just adds defense? I always thought the number just displayed there to show you how much he gained, not the damage taken with or without blocking.

I mean, he constantly says "I'll kill you" and his ending involves him shooting Genjuro (the biggest edgelord in the franchise) in the back and leaving him with the scar that he'd carry until his death later in the series. If he didn't work for a warlord as his enforcer and attempt to sell women into slavery to get money to pay for his hired mercenaries, then he'd just be a nice comedy character. Hell actually, if he didn't attempt to sell women into slavery, as to me that's a lot more evil than being on the wrong army. I mean, you'd not do that... well if Kaga wasn't making you.

Oh wow. You are devious!

The funny thing being, that particular Conan story was an adaption of Gardner Fox's Novel Kothar the Barbarian (a pastiche of the Conan series from the days when it was not being produced due to Robert E. Howard's suicide and the fact that L. Sprague De Camp was yet to get permission from his estate to revive it)  into comic form... except with Conan for real this time (Fox was an old friend of the writer of the Conan comic).  Gardner's notable for a few things. For one he invented the Flash, and wrote the first version of Batman's origin. But what's funny is that Gardner was a big H.P. Lovecraft fan, and named the Golem in the story Shokkoth, a slight change from Shoggoth... a demon from H.P. Lovecraft's works. So the big part of the gag is I've just taken an ancient joke and helped it finally reach full circle in a second aspect, after it had already in the first in the 1970s. Why do I know all this? Roy Thomas, the writer of the Conan comic at the time has some rather extensive notes on his run that were published when they were reprinted in the early 2000s. Shokkoth's appearance happened to be the first Conan tale I read, over a decade ago in said reprints. As it goes my father had the originals... but I ended up collecting the reprints because I liked the format, and the notes were rather entertaining.

Fates style capture is unironically the best thing about Fates. Being able to recruit and use so many enemy units? Hilarious. Also great for Iron Man runs (as long as you don't lose Orochi/Niles) because replaceable generics.

Personally, I figure lying on the roof of a house between shots of a bow or crossbow would be good cover (if the roof was flat enough). Obviously you'd have to stand up to shoot, because you can't aim downwards through the roof. Or if there's a chimney you could use that as cover. Either way it takes you out of range of most physical attacks and makes it somewhat harder to hit you from the ground. Only problem is you'd have a damn hard time doing that if you didn't in advance, so I figure it's not what's going on here.

I wonder if Vestaria Saga was referencing this guy specifically when one of the villagers would tell you of a guy who recently ran into the dessert yelling "The wrath of Zephir's blade!" and probably died there because he seemed to be all bluster.
The Zephir Sword is that game's electric magic sword, btw. Same as the one this guy has.

Anyway, Qadi here also has the hidden Weakness skill, so he can be fairly easily captured. So he is most certainly not meant to be as intimidating as he tries to make himself out to be.

I keep forgetting to bring this up...

I tested out what happens if you capture Minas but don't kill Theodore. There is an additional scene after the map where Ward explains to Reese that they were pursued by a lone, persistent knight. Ward took it upon himself to put that knight six feet under. And while he was at it, he also took that strange box with him that the knight was clutching close to him.
So yeah, either way Reese ends up with the Decorative Box, so the way Theodore is dealt with probably has no effect on how this event plays out.

Ward can be quite the busy bee after this map, between saving Esteban and killing Theodore. Guy deserves a raise.

Well, it shouldn't have to be.

Bad?

There's still a bug in the game where it straight up crashes! Nearly a year later!

Oh, I didn't know that! Thanks! Now I hate it just a smidgen more.

I'm okay about hearing about more DLC just so that they'd also bother to fix that crap.

Assuming they do. They might just add more fanservice outfits and call it a day.

When was I particularly worshipping though?

Not you in particular. I did say "everyone", no?

That aside, I failed to apologise for two to three parts worth of bitching. So sorry for that.

Bah, don't worry about it. It's what most of my updates consist of, anyway.

I mean, IS did make AW: Days of Ruin, so they should at least be able to rip off themselves?

Oh, right. I'd almost forgotten. They learned, and then they unlearned the lesson.

Also, D'oh on the typo in the previous line I chose not to quote..

It was a hilarious typo, don't worry. I don't hold it against you, it gave me a good laugh.

Because he matches the personality.

I suppose so...

King Arthur might just be too OP anyways, maybe everyone else would have been like twigs on BK's armour.

But Arthur misses everything! He can't be that OP!

As someone who's played FF5 I am particularly disappointed.

I haven't, but I have played Civilization.

Slipped my mind.

(Support with Sothis went down.)

Good. She's useless anyway. Disappears one third into the game and only comes back for two completely stupid scenes that serve no purpose. I mean, why couldn't Byleth just... Wake up from his coma? It'd be contrived, but a bit less so than "dragon loli who died comes back to wake Byleth conveniently in time for the worst chapter in FE history"

Holy crap Narcus is actually generic enough that I completely forgot.

I forgot he did that too.

Don't worry. Narcus's biggest call to fame is giving Eugen some of his best scenes. And even then, Holmes and Arkis of all people beat him at that.

I mean, Reese could have sent them a messenger because he was too busy to talk right now.

But... they're in jail! When did they get mail!? Unless they mean the guy who broke the cell door down. That... makes a bit more sense, I guess.

I want to imagine him sliding away there.

That does look like the perfect thing to happen.

Press F for in game supports.

F

Again.

I guess his journey comes to a chilling end?

Ahahahahahahah...

I'm trying to think which FE spell has this look. Thoron's right in the modern games, but I'm not so sure about early on.

FE5 thoron is similar. Not nearly as fast, but it's... close enough.

RLqT4D9D_o.pngI move for no man.

Sure you don't. Or woman, as we'll soon discover.

That description of these kinds of bosses is more interesting than this guy.

Hahah, I'll take that as a compliment.

So Owen will never use it?

Damm shame.

Well, I didn't say that. I guess you'll just have to stay tuned and find out?

"I'm about to fall ooooooof!"

*lands head first.

Honestly, if that happened Arthur would be the best unit in the game.

You at this moment.

Yes. That is me, indeed.

(Trying to find a better clip dredged up so much irrelevant shit I stopped trying.

Hey, it was a good clip. It looped for no reason, but it was good.

Risking low HP and Def units.

As is tradition.

Sorry...

RLqT4D9D_o.pngJust a flesh wound.

That's all they are until he dies. Or, well, until he's crippled, but surely that won't ever happen to me. I'm too lucky.

I'm telling you, he's gotta go fast.

6 more levels...

And his name's Martin.

In this fantasy setting, his name's Martin.

I don't know what to say.

To be honest, I don't think it's that bad. Heck, this is the same game that has a Jonathan! How can anything beat fucking Jonathan?

Really.png.069d524055d01bc45043756e319c5038.png

That. That is the face I made when it happened.

What colour was it?

Yellow, thankfully. It wasn't quite as bad as a green break. Still pretty damn atrocious, but... Could've been green. Could've been worse.

Not his name, but with having the name Arthur and the other stuff that's come up, this works too well.

Ahahahah... Yeah, yeah it does.

Impressive.

This would be more impressive if not for the fact I enjoy History and that makes Geography fall into place. Plus it's Europe, ask me about Africa and it's harder.

Well, it's pretty good nonetheless. You probably know more geography than I do. I can defend myself when it comes to Europe, but ask me the American states and I'm just completely lost. I know California's to the west coast and New York and Washington are probably to the east? I think? Maybe? Also, Texas is in the south. But that's about it.

Trap can also be followed by someone calling you gay for liking them.

That's more of a generic thing, though. I was talking about things in the FE community.

I just want this thing to catch on, since you did say once I shouldn't boss you around.

Well, you failed.

Inb4 Ruben... I I have got nothing

Yes, yes you failed. Repent at once.

That's dumb. Conquer through war instead puss :Nino:

SO NUKE! NUKE EVERYTHING! :kefka:

That's what my friend says as well. But making an army is such a hassle...

Or IDK how it happens, specially since this time my notifications showed me both. I guess it was just a weird product of that day, or that person commented and then you posted something pretty soon after. Idk.

Notifications have always been a bit of a mystery in this site.

I'm the one teleporting away lol, not Volcens.

Well, and? I never said anything about the teleporting!

You know, the fact that this is the tiniest, most insignificant part of Volcens's character is quite alarming. Like, being an asshole to Sienna is probably the most harmless flaw of his. And his dad was even worse! With leaders like this, who needs warmongering empires?

Yeah lol. Bulge-armor in history is sorta common, Henry the VIII (in any portrait you search of him) has like some metal thing down there. Apparently it's some sort of decoration so he didn't just use it because he was horny but well, I wouldn't be surprised if it's use was to hide whenever the king was thirsty.

I've heard as much, yes, in a different thread.

Epic. I mean this is a videogame, we are supposed to win right? :Kappa: so everythign will be fine.

Hah, yes. That is the word I'd use, "fine".

"You should have asked the professors for help before taking action yourself" No it never works like that. Professors are human and most of them are clueless on how to handle any of it. But whatever, this is dumb and I never will understand why people like to be bullies.

I was pretty lucky, actually. I always had people around me who actually bothered to help. Though for the longest time breaks were my least favorite part of school.

And I'm not. That's why I said "Imagine having a waifu with good stats". Sylvis has higher stats and more usability.

She's just sweet overall.

So you're telling me the pop-up appears for like a full second and you just stare at the screen before deciding "oh right the screenshot!"

Yeah. Exactly.

Is the 1/3 of health lost a scripted thing?

No, not really. The spell just happened to deal damage roughly equivalent to 1/3rd of Arthur's health.

Unbolded is Benice, Bolded is St. Rubenio.

I sometimes do have trouble with that but it's happened to me always before. Like sometimes selecting things and the quote button doesn't appear. I just copy paste them into a quote box anyways though.

Yeah, quoting things is a bit weird. The problem is that if you don't quote someone directly, they don't get a notification.

Like other spell animations, this looks pretty awesome.

I mean, few spells in this game don't look awesome. Basic wind, maybe? But that's about it.

It's also good for getting... Alzheimers! Well atleast in GBA FE, and I know this is a shit joke my great grandma has Alzheimers

Oh, goodness... Poor Erzheimer!

So, blocking with shield doesn't nullify damage it just adds defense? I always thought the number just displayed there to show you how much he gained, not the damage taken with or without blocking.

Yeah, shields add defense when they're used. That's what the green number next to the defense is for, in the battle forecast. It's possible to nullify damage with a shield if the defense bonus is high enough, but the number displayed below is always the damage taken. If it's none it just says "no damage taken!"

Well you do have the entire night, but not once the sun rises... that's what I remember atleast but 24 turns is 12 hours so, actually you have a little bit after the sun rises if this battle starts at 12 AM.

Well, details, meh.

... Well to each their own, if you like fat then-

That is not what I meant, and you know that as well as I.

nah I'm joking, I know what it is.

That's better.

No relation to slow cav?

The hair color is the same, when you think about it...

Given we meet Kefka in a seen where he's got sand in his boots... and he's nuts all game. Checks out. Everyone thought the process they put him through made him crazy. The sand made him crazy.

He doesn't like sand. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere.

I mean, he constantly says "I'll kill you" and his ending involves him shooting Genjuro (the biggest edgelord in the franchise) in the back and leaving him with the scar that he'd carry until his death later in the series.

Hah! He sounds pretty hilarious.

If he didn't work for a warlord as his enforcer and attempt to sell women into slavery to get money to pay for his hired mercenaries, then he'd just be a nice comedy character.

...Okay, maybe not that hilarious.

Hell actually, if he didn't attempt to sell women into slavery, as to me that's a lot more evil than being on the wrong army. I mean, you'd not do that... well if Kaga wasn't making you.

Turns out, Kaga was the mastermind behind Genjuro's evil deeds. He didn't want to do it, but he had to, because Kaga locked a very important thing behind selling women to slavery again. Genjuro's bravado was an attempt to provoke somebody to kill him, thus freeing him from his Kaga-induced misery.

At the very least, I can repost it in other threads with utterly wicked things. Like Wraith's punishment in the crime and punishment thread.

Goodness, what have I created...?

It's also untrue. But it's funnier than "I didn't".

Ahahahaha... There it is, that's what I had expected. I knew it made no sense for you to falter!

If you go by that episode of Spongebob with Squidward's art class, Squidward would disagree. Mind the art critic wouldn't. Critics right?

Squidward is the best Spongebob character, anyway. Who cares about some generic critic who never appeared again.

I'd come up with a stereotypical excuse based on my country, but then I'd have to reveal it.

Yeah, that's a bit of a problem, isn't it.

Always impresses me the extent of your knowledge when it comes to comics.

I find it amazing I found a line to cross which got you to defend Volcens.

I find it more worrying that you have to go that far for Volcens to be defensible.

But you're right. Volcens isn't quite that bad. I'd be better comparing him to Caligula... actually no I wouldn't. He's not that bad either. DAMN IT REAL WORLD.

Reality often surpasses fiction. Volcens wouldn't be that terrible compared to some of the jewels we call "leaders" today.

There was no water of any tactical value.

This line is absolutely hilarious. Not sure why, it just is.

When you say that I feel like a real scumbag.

Please don't, the responses were pretty funny.

See what I mean? They were wise to flee. If it were Axel they'd have been dead.

Axel's already good now, imagine when I get him a forged axe.

I wish I could say that I knew that feeling, but my cliffhangers have been decided by the RNG. Can I really take credit for anything the RNG does?

Hey, I can't take credit for chapter 5 either. It's just the fact that everyone is expecting total doom, and then it turns out that's not the case. It's such a nice feeling.

See? That could literally be a Sankuro quote. Now you just need to shoot Volo in the back in your ending sequence and we're set.

With pleasure!

...Damnit, I don't have a gun! Foiled again...!

Did Kaga spend his time on Tear Ring and Berwick apologizing to archers by doing things like this? I mean Sylvis alone.

I mean, I think in all of his games the only archers that come close to sucking as hard as almost every post-Kaga archer are Luca, Tanya and Ronan. And even then, there are ways to make Tanya and Ronan work, so it's really only Luca that the likes of Wolt, Rebecca, Wil, Neimi, Rolf, etc. have a chance against.

So yeah. Kaga's been apolozing for Luca by making every archer that came after him godly. Starting with his sister. I could never decide which one's better out of Raquel and Sylvis. They're both just... so good...!

The epic of Gilgamesh ends here. He just got Ow(e)ned.

I dare you to pun Gilgamesh. I double dare you! And no, making a pun with "mess" based on "mesh" alone doesn't work. Pun the whooooooooole thing.

Fates style capture is unironically the best thing about Fates. Being able to recruit and use so many enemy units? Hilarious. Also great for Iron Man runs (as long as you don't lose Orochi/Niles) because replaceable generics.

It really does sound cool.

Doesn't he know what happens to slow units?

...They get memed into MVP'ness? I mean, that's what happened to Derrick and Norton...

I think I got the General idea.

Ahahahahaha... Good, very good.

I like how you strategically ommited the last part of my comment in your quote.

Well... I half expected Daoud 2.0 at the end... but guess not. Though it's Gram shame that sword broke.

The Gram breaking always sucks.

Or a reference to Merlinus.

Grrrr...

Ahhhh... All right, I'll talk to Palizsch as soon as I'm able.

Yeah. I thought I deleted that earlier one at some point.

Well, it doesn't really matter.

I don't think so. It was probably just an unrelated joke. Kaga most likely forgot about this man right after he created him.

Anyway, Qadi here also has the hidden Weakness skill, so he can be fairly easily captured. So he is most certainly not meant to be as intimidating as he tries to make himself out to be.

I've captured him in the past, actually. So that's why he was so easy... A shame I couldn't do it this time.

Hey, Owen can use it after turn 20. :KnollRoll:

Heheh, you cheeky bastard, you.

Well, he can use Dark Heal and Nosferatu at least.

Enough to be a dick! But so long as I always remember to have him retreat, all is well.

I mean, they are specifically just arrowheads. Not actual arrows.

Well, if Sherlock wasn't such a weakling, he could throw them hard enough for them to work! I'm sure Sylvis could pull it off.

But those Raze priests only ever use dark magic.

Well, what can I say? I see loot, I want loot.

Woah! Did this thing break on green durability? That sucks.

Nah, thankfully. It was yellow. Yellow... still sucks, but at least it's not green. Anything but green, please.

8avaxokx o And how come you are blond in your portrait but have grey hair on your map sprites while I have brown hair in my portrait but blond hair on my map sprites?

Ahahahah... Yeah, the color discrepancies in this game are weird.

That might be true in FE, and only when attacking at range, but in BWS magic weapons just do additional magic damage on top of the standard phisical one (kinda like enchanted weapons in "Oblivion")

Yeah, I was told later that magic doesn't add anything to magical swords.

Oh, a new one! Average design, I guess. The extremely short skirt is very Japan, but the rest is okay.

I always make sure not to botch them. The happiness loss really isn't worth it for a joke.

I might have mentioned this already, but somehow many of BWS's maps make me think of "MechCommander 2" missions.

(MechCommander 2 is definitely one of my favorites PC games despite some flaws that kinda make it inferior to its prequel: wish they made a game combining "MechCommander" gameplay, "Front Mission" mech customization (which makes more sense than MC's) and "Goddess kiss" characters and graphics)

Ergh... Yeah, let's go with that.

That too.

That is a reason I can get behind.

Why is so much of this applicable to TF2?

THAT's the part that got you impressed?!?!

Yeah. I don't understand why the animal ears were necessary. Is the reason Japan?

Sienna who? You don't want to know.

Oh wow, she's tall and buff.

...Never mind. Ingame she's generic anime physique. Pah...

Err... pretty sure that's only a curse for FE & co. characters though? (And only with healing staves, as vulneraries/herbs/potions works fine anyway)

Not really. I've seen it in plenty of other games.  It's not that common, but it's not exclusive to FE either.

Grrr... You know, to this day I still don't know what this character's actual name is. I just call her Martel and hate her. I'll make her a shopkeep like I did the other Martel!

Horsewomen, technically (pretty sure there isn't a single male kuranta in the game yet, not even in the CN server)

I mean, why would there be? Fanservice with females sells more, and that's all they care about. Or so I'd imagine, given how little male fanservice there is in games of this kind. Personally, I could do without fanservice of any kind. But that's just me being stuck up, I guess.

As far as i remember it only happened twice in 12 episodes+specials and you already saw both of them.

Pah. Weakling.

Sheesh...

Nope, but this might be.

Ahahah! Okay, that one's funny.

Again: who?

Some character from a game I don't really like. People say he's brilliantly written, like every other character in the game. I think every character in the game is overrated. Except Hanneman. Of course the best character in the game is the one that nobody cares about.

Ah, I see. Good measures, yes.

31Go3Od.png

Why'd you have to go and try to ruin her for me?

Now that you mention it...

Ah, gachas. How fascinating you are.

Ah, language differences. Always lovely. Ostia, anyone?

The messenger probably told Gilgamesh they know where to find the Excalibur.

Hah! But... Wait, we don't have the Excalibur! The messenger lied!

Why bother hoping he will...

See? My Perceval would probably proc Adept and miss again just to laugh at me as well.

I really don't understand what's up with Perceval. His hitrate isn't even that bad, but he just seems to love missing!

Don't be so negative now! He managed to get 30 skills on my run...

At the 2nd last turn of the final chapter.

In my second run I actively RNG-abused levels for him and Aegina every chance I got.

Aegina promoted at the end of chapter 12-1. Perceval? Chapter 12-2. Literally the last point in the game where he could've promoted. Suffice to say, those awful promotions of theirs were extremely unsatisfying to see after the trouble I went through to get 'em.

That 0 avoid is too attractive I guess.

His hitrate against Sherpa still sucked, though... I wonder how it looked against the knights, considering one got targeted and just dodged.

Fun fact, my Reese killed him in one round thanks to crit and Adept.

Lucky you!

Hahahahahah... I swear, if this ends up being a run where my two knights compete to see who can become the fastest, I'll die a happy man.

Have to say it is surprising to see him getting weapon skill only level, since my Arthur was pretty much a monster. Will post my endgame team after you get a bit far in the story. If I don't forget, like I did with TRS...

Arthur's a pretty good unit, but bad levels are bound to happen with this game's growths.

See, you couldn't handle him.

Paahhh...

And the Gram, since you couldn't even kill him in the end.

Eh, I mean, details...

Cool! I heard of that scene's existence, but I was unsure if it was actually used or it was just in the game's code.

Ward can be quite the busy bee after this map, between saving Esteban and killing Theodore. Guy deserves a raise.

...Though it does screw with the timeline of events even more.

Ahahahahahahah! Well, whatever the history between those two is, it appears Tianna does not approve.

3cxl4xfi o......

Meoilxpy o......

Okdq4zou o

Tmitcvmt o

Vxqntpa3 oIt says that today is her mother's birthday, so she'd like to take some time off to pay her a visit...

Meoilxpy oDo you know when she will be returning?

Vxqntpa3 oI'm sorry, I don't... She seemed to be in a hurry...

Lcs7tvej o

8avaxokx oLord Reese! I've come to visit, as promised. We've got lots to talk about, and drinks are on me tonight! Ward, you come, too!

3cxl4xfi oHah, that sounds like a good time! We will have to take you up on-- Lord Vester, why are you carrying a bouquet of roses?

8avaxokx oOh, these? They're for Tianna, of course. Where is my darling, anyway? I haven't seen her in more than half a year.

Vr5q6ggi o

3cxl4xfi oI-It can't be...

Vxqntpa3 oUm... Were the two of you not aware...?

3cxl4xfi oAre you saying you were, Rosalie?

Vxqntpa3 oI thought everyone knew that she was engaged...

3cxl4xfi oThen the two of you have discussed this?

Vxqntpa3 oWell, no... But when a lady wears a diamond ring on her finger, it seems pretty clear she's taken...

Xtuo6k83 o

Pwyhidfr o

3cxl4xfi oNo, I didn't...

Txzubig9 o Bwahahahahahahah! Excellent! I can understand this coming from Ward, but Reese too? Also, apparently Reese has never had an idle chat with Tianna in the months he's been here. He really has no emotions...! He lives for duty and battle, and nothing else! He's an empty husk in times of peace! How did Lynette ever fall for this doofus...?

3cxl4xfi oThough I suppose I shouldn't be so surprised. A beautiful woman like her must have more than a few gentleman callers vying for her hand...

Vxqntpa3 o("More than a few"?)

8avaxokx oI'm glad you're both so interested, but where has Tianna gone to? I still haven't seen her yet...

Meoilxpy oOh, I'm sorry. Unfortunately, Tianna had some urgent business to attend to. I imagine she will return tomorrow, although...

9qk5ifz8 o Oh, and after this absolutely unbelievable turn of events, Reese fails to see through Tianna's blatantly obvious bullshit excuse to disappear just in time to avoid Vester. Though, in all fairness, I could totally believe that Reese has no idea when Tianna's mom's birthday really takes place. Or that she has a mother. Sheesh... No wonder he so easily fell for Barselphon's crap.

8avaxokx oOh... Guess it can't be helped. I can wait another day, I suppose. Well, Lord Reese, when the two of you are ready, find me at my house. You'll always be welcome there!

Sfd4oahj o

Tphtndiw o

Meoilxpy oYou can say that again. Tianna and Lord Vester... engaged?

3cxl4xfi oTo think that she will one day be the Duchess of Bornia, but she hid something so important from us?

Meoilxpy oWait, what are you talking about, Ward? How will she become the Duchess of Bornia?

Vxqntpa3 o...L-Lord Reese, you said it yourself, they're engaged...

Meoilxpy oAnd yet, Tianna always claimed to be a non-combatant. She never spoke of any bouts between her and Lord Vester.

Vxqntpa3 o...Do... Do you not know what it means to be "engaged"?

3cxl4xfi oNo, he doesn't.

Vxqntpa3 oB-But how do you not know something like that!? Are you dumb, Lord Ree--

Bs8nwu8m oI'LL BE YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE IF YOU CONTINUE BEING SUCH AN INSOLENT, WORTHLESS MAGGOT.

Vxqntpa3 oE-Eeeeek!

3cxl4xfi oSigh... I'll explain later, Lord Reese...

Meoilxpy o...?

3cxl4xfi oThat lady Tianna certainly likes to keep us in the dark...

Vxqntpa3 oGeneral Ward, please don't speak ill of Lady Tianna like that! You have no right to judge her for having her own private life!

3cxl4xfi oY-Yes, you're right... I spoke rather rashly... I did not truly mean any slight against Lady Tianna, but it was a rather rude thing to say nonetheless...

Vxqntpa3 oHonestly, you should be more careful! You're a good man, General Ward, but you can be so insensitive!

3cxl4xfi oY-Yes... I apologize...

Meoilxpy o...So what does being "engaged" mean, then? Do you know, tactician?

Lgjkwhcy o I know the basic concept, anyway...

Ypssdgv6 o

For now, Rosalie will replace Tianna in the office. Nice attention to detail, right there.

Wr3wj5c3 oMjainltf o

Yeah, they can have Gilgamesh. I can only hope he found what he came for...

43bihplm o

The thunder god

W7otxkly o

Euilmzmc oI brought the Raijin Arrowheads.

Phrbyqeh oThanks for your trouble. How was Columban?

Euilmzmc o......

Phrbyqeh oWell, how was he, Sherlock?

Euilmzmc o...The house was empty. The only things left were the arrowheads and this letter.

Phrbyqeh o......

T9yiltwf o

19gazxsi oHow many decades has it been? I was an alchemist's assistant, and you were starting as an apprentice bowyer.

19gazxsi oRemember what we used to do? You made the bows and arrow stocks while I made the heads, and together, we made the arrows of the Thunder God.

19gazxsi oWe were quite the team way back then, weren't we? Now, I leave behind my last present to you. Show the world that we old folks have still got it!

19gazxsi oYour friend, Columban.

Elsvirmg o

Euilmzmc oBluck, I...

Phrbyqeh oY'know, it was thanks to Columban that I managed to become a bowyer in the first place. We had different goals, but we still helped each other, and we understood each other... Most of the time, anyway. More than once, we argued from sundown to sunup... Heh... I'd probably get sick if I tried to do that today...

Euilmzmc oSounds like he has a good friend.

Phrbyqeh oYeah, he was... Well, I'll be damned if I don't fulfill his last request!

H7gbfiek o

And a cut to black later...

Jf3ay9is o

Phrbyqeh o(How's that, Columban? Think I did a good job?)

Euilmzmc oI can see why they're called the thunder god's arrows... Look how they shine...!

Phrbyqeh oOur last collaboration... Sherlock, I want you to have them. You made it possible, after all.

Euilmzmc oI can't take something so precious from you...

8hanmfpa o

Euilmzmc oThank you... I'll use them well.

Oiwz9gqq o

If I let you use them, Sherlock, you'll miss with them all. They're going to Sylvis, no questions asked.

R5adgbzf o

That was sad. I hope this'll be less sad. I always say that and it never happens...

Srviltp8 o

Emkzrccq oHm? What happened to Lady Tianna?

Vxqntpa3 oSomething came up, so I'm here in her place.

Emkzrccq oOh, I see. Well, thank you all the same! Please take this as repayment for your generosity.

Vxqntpa3 oI'm sorry, I can't take that... If I do, Lady Tianna will scold me.

Emkzrccq oNo, no, I can't simply leave you unrewarded for your efforts! Take it, I insist!

Cpr2uckp o

Money!

Emkzrccq oBy the way, I have good news. We've already been contracted for our next job.

Lozy9aft o

Uedfz3v4 o WHAT

Vxqntpa3 oI see. Break a leg, I suppose!

Uedfz3v4 oBreak his leg, if anything! Are you telling me Kaga put this sidequest in this particular chapter just so Tianna wouldn't hear about Barselphony from Karmell? Kaga, you evil dastard...!

Vxqntpa3 o(Barselphon... Have I heard that name before...?)

Lgjkwhcy o Oh, please... I at least hope you don't take too long to remember.

Wwxfniqz oM-Mmph... I... Oh, thank you, kind souls... M-My career is saved! You're the champions of the Berwick League!!

Uv714man oThey're up there, yeah... Lisa'll be glad to hear about this. When I told her we might be forced to disband, she was so sad... I'll go home as soon as Karmell's done here.

B9hpkntq oCould I come with you? It's been a while since I last visited. I'd like to see how your horse's doing.

Uv714man oWell, he's hanging in there, even without a leg... He's brave, that one.

Wwxfniqz oAnd you're the most wonderful of people to have given it a proper home! A beautiful friendship between man and horse, born from turmoil and remorse... Truly, it does warm this heart of mine...! Boo hoo hoo...!

Uv714man oAhahah... Well, I do owe it my life. Would be mighty selfish of me to leave it alone and helpless.

P7zedxd8 oI've had plenty of soldiers under my command who wouldn't have hesitated before leaving their steeds behind and running for it. I would've been proud to have you as my subordinate, Vincent.

Uv714man oThank you, sir. That means a lot.

Z2hvx99u oWell, guys, what are we waiting for? We've wasted enough time! We have to practice! If we forget our lines, that costume won't save us! C'mon, c'mon, on the double! Let's go!

P7zedxd8 oAll right, all right! Calm down! Goodness... I can never keep up with you.

Z2hvx99u oToo bad, 'cause I'm waiting for noone! I'll be the greatest actor this continent has ever seen! Hahah!

P7zedxd8 oComing from you... I believe it. Well, then! Let us go.

Ggpndkoz o

Well, that was infuriating.

Ynld5vaa o

Nnd6gnyf oYeah...! My sister's hat... Thank you so much!

Bda25u8h o(It was a bit tough, but it was well worth the effort.)

Jmz4camm o

Xjnip8mz o

Nnd6gnyf oL-Liz?!

9qk5ifz8 o Oh, boy. Well, looks like there'll be at least one happy ending today.

Bda25u8h oHuh...?

Lygudazb oMaris! Thank the Goddess you're alive!

Nnd6gnyf oThe same to you! You were bleeding so badly... I thought the soldiers had killed you!

Lygudazb oI only escaped by playing dead. After they left, I tried to get away... But I couldn't catch up to you with my hurt leg. Luckily, the Narvian Army saved me.

Askl7tq5 o

Nnd6gnyf oAll this time, we've been so close...

Lygudazb oThe sisters who live and work there are all amazing people. Even though I had no money, they cared for me just the same. I wanted to repay them somehow, so I started helping out, too. During my time off, I've been looking around the city for you... And now, here you are...!

Nnd6gnyf oLiz... I'm so happy you're alive! I-I've been so alone...

Lygudazb oI'm sorry, Maris... It must have been awful...

Icc9bt8g o

Lygudazb oMaris, who is this?

Nnd6gnyf oWell... When I thought you'd died, I was going to go back to Turon to get the hat you made for me...

Lygudazb oYou were going to go back?!

Nnd6gnyf oYeah... But this nice guy went all the way and got it for me.

Lygudazb oHe did all that...?

Skpubngw o8j6e4fmw o

Bda25u8h oIt's no big deal. I'm just glad you found him.

Lygudazb oMy brother and I are deeply indebted to you. I wish I could thank you somehow...

Bda25u8h oNo, don't worry about it.

Nnd6gnyf oHere, this is for you, Sir.

Bda25u8h oReally? A pretty jewel like this?

2anm0dxb o

Nnd6gnyf oI was gonna keep it, but I want you to have it instead.

Bda25u8h oYou sure?

Nnd6gnyf oI've got my big sis back. I don't need anything else.

Bda25u8h oAll right, then. I'll take it.

Nnd6gnyf oThanks again, Sir.

Lygudazb oYes! Thank you very much!

Bda25u8h oDon't mention it. Take care, you two!

Sxdoijge o

Materials are good. I think this makes orbs?

Tcjflq94 o

Next up, Erzheimer.

Rx6c5by1 oLsfdrmv8 o

You know the drill, Erzie. I give you items, you give me money, the readers misspell your name.

Driwkvxe o6y0n82y5 o

Okay.

Nko8pjcr o

Ahh, there we go, first Erzheimer scene! You get scenes when you reach a certain amount of items, and when you complete a certain set of deliveries. This is one of the former, though we'll probably start getting the others soon. We only need to get a sleep orb for the "dark magic set" scene, for instance.

Rbclvnd4 oOho! Yet another of my dreams come true! This is simply magnificent!

3cxl4xfi oI am glad you like it.

Rbclvnd4 oIt's all thanks to you, Sir Ward! As a personal show of thanks, let me show you one of my treasures... Clara, if you would, please.

Z1vpznqw oYes, Master.

3cxl4xfi oYou really don't need to...

E9udsimn o

3cxl4xfi o......

3cxl4xfi o(I suppose there's no stopping him once he gets like this...)

9qk5ifz8 o I just love how Ward lets Erzheimer strong-arm him into looking at art. He just doesn't know how to refuse people who aren't young girls.

Ul36axmq o

Rbclvnd4 oIt may perhaps be the greatest work in my entire collection! It must be kept clean of fingerprints, so please do not touch. Aside from Clara, you are the first I have ever shown it to, Sir Ward. What do you think?

3cxl4xfi oWell...

Y8jdvlnh o

Txzubig9 o Hwahahahahahahahah... Man, I love these two, seriously. And this isn't even their best scene. Far from it.

3cxl4xfi oThis statue, well... It seems to remind me somewhat of my own daughter...

Uedfz3v4 o ...Noo... I don't need depression at this point in time, Ward...!

Rbclvnd4 oRemarkable!

3cxl4xfi o...It is?

Rbclvnd4 oYes, Sir Ward! Truly remarkable! For you see, Sergei crafted this work with his own daughter as the model... and it is said that his wife was a woman of Sinon! I expected no less of a fine man of the arts such as yourself, Sir Ward!

3cxl4xfi oWhat...?

Mjryuxwm o

Rbclvnd4 oAh, I have a wonderful idea! I'll show you that one next...!

Rcsuardf o

3cxl4xfi o...Damn it...

Z1vpznqw oSir Ward...

3cxl4xfi oHm?

0mkhkraf o

Rbclvnd4 oClara! Come here, Clara!

Z1vpznqw oAh! Yes, Master! I am coming!

Zfa6610c o

Omvpuxzv o

10/10 would capture people for their items again.

Db227pvx o

That's... not the title I would expect next to the name "Marcel".

Zql6bf9h o

2wzfebz7 oOoooh! Who's that letter to that you're writing so passionately?

Oxm8ceei oAah, Teresa! Don't look!

2wzfebz7 oOh...? Could it be...

Oxm8ceei o......

2wzfebz7 oYou're writing a love letter to that handsome young knight, aren't you? Oh, Cecily, Cecily... I can't watch you keep getting your heart broken like this! You know he'll just leave you high and dry when he gets bored of you, just like all the others!

Bn0w22qq o

Oxm8ceei oAh... Every time he looks at me, it's like my body's about to melt...

Lgjkwhcy o He looks like a 12 year old in heavy armor contemplating the meaning of life.

2wzfebz7 oLet's hope you don't actually melt, or else you'd be in a bad way...

Oxm8ceei oOh, Sir Marcel...

2wzfebz7 oEarth to Cecily! You're at work! You have a job to do for the people who come in your shop!

Oxm8ceei oSir Marcel comes here so often... He always speaks so kindly and politely to me... Every word he says is so honest and dignified, like a true knight!

Ip4bo344 o

Txzubig9 o Bwahahahahahah! This whole scene's just Cecily fantasizing while Teresa roasts her.

Oxm8ceei oBut every time he does, I feel faint, and I've had trouble plucking up the courage to talk to him... But earlier, when he came in here, I had this big surge of bravery! I called out to him, "You can do it, Sir Marcel!"

2wzfebz7 oUh-huh... So, what did he say then?

Lnmfzlnf o

Oxm8ceei oThen, I didn't know what to say... I completely blew it...

2wzfebz7 o(Oh, Cecily...)

Nozgqoib oNwflc3km o

Oh boy, there's the man himself.

Sr4jrxlq o

Rlqt4d9d oYes, Miss Cecily?

Oxm8ceei oP-Please read this!

Rlqt4d9d oOh? Could this perhaps be...

Autjjqhg o

9qk5ifz8 o Brilliant. Off to a wonderful start.

Oxm8ceei oN-No, it's not an invoice! These are my feelings?

Rlqt4d9d oYour... feelings?

Oxm8ceei oY-Yes... Please, do read it...

Rlqt4d9d o...I'm afraid I cannot. I must return this to you.

Oy3dmlxc o

Rlqt4d9d oI cannot let other matters of life distract me at this time. My apologies, Miss Cecily...

Oxm8ceei oB-But...

Lgjkwhcy o Awwwww... Don't be too heartbroken, Cecily... At least you didn't fall for Reese. If it was Reese, he would've carefully read the letter from start to finish, and he'd still be convinced that it was an invoice.

Ida90xjy o

I like how it started to rain just in time for her to sink even deeper into a depression.

2le43tv7 oLaraiae0 o

Eh? Elbert...?

Csgyihgk o

...Oh, God, this guy looks like a serial rapist...

Oxm8ceei oHuh...?

Jmas5mny o

Uedfz3v4 o ...You know, I considered editing his face here. Then I realized his standard portrait looks awful enough for this... ahem, this line. Incidentally, OH MY GOD HE REALLY IS A SERIAL RAPIST, RUN

Oxm8ceei oAh, thank you... But what about you, sir?

Rnwsddzf oI will endure... It is far better that you be spared from the dangerous elements than I. But I fear rain is not what has dampened your spirits... Does something ail you, fair maiden?

Oxm8ceei oYou're too kind... But yes, there has been something on my mind as of late.

C1x2b88y o

Rnwsddzf oImpossible... A beautiful and charming woman such as yourself, spurned?! What has this world come to...

Oxm8ceei oHuh...?

Uedfz3v4 oCome on now...! Cecily can't possibly be falling for this! He's so obvious, look at him! He looks like he's permanently staring at her b--

Lugkax9m o

Oh, and the scene just ends there. Formidable. Well, let's watch Sherlock's little romance with Ophelia blossom.

Pkocy3zl o

Yeah, there we are... Nothing depressing happening this time--

Pa6nsifl oMze9uu9l o

Oh.

Wwgeaxno o

G7jy5qyy oBut I've finally found you, Witch of Soleil!

Gmqr9vox o...!

G7jy5qyy oMy good people, you mustn't trust anything this woman has told you! The melodies that come from her lyre are meant to bewitch and befuddle, that she might steal your life-force!

Lgjkwhcy o Berwick Saga: The game where for every uplifting scene, there are at least three involving murder, rape and other really nice things like that.

Gmqr9vox oAh...! I-I...

G7jy5qyy oNone must ever forget what you did to the people of Soleil! Are you planning to drain the life of the people here, too?! My good people, do not let this woman deceive you!

Oa9a4ocd o

G7jy5qyy oI will not allow you to consume the lives of our citizens!

Veduqiw5 o

Well shit, she's gone.

Euilmzmc oWhat is wrong with you?! Why would you say something so ridiculous and hurtful? One more word, and I'll knock some sense into you personally! I don't care if you are a priest!

G7jy5qyy oHm... Has she beguiled you with her looks and her charms? Then let me make this quite clear: That woman is a witch who stole the lives of many people in Soleil!

31ar9qhl o

Euilmzmc o...Get out of my way.

Szbq0ele o

S558dp4x o

Bdumentc o

Gmqr9vox o......

Euilmzmc oOphelia, I'm here. Please answer me!

Gmqr9vox oI'm sorry... I'm sorry...!

Euilmzmc oOphelia, please! Just come outside!

Hlezbafz o

Euilmzmc oWhat?! I won't believe it... That's a lie, Ophelia...!

Gmqr9vox oSherlock... Please, go home... Otherwise, I don't know what will happen to you...

Euilmzmc oO-Ophelia...

Lgjkwhcy oProbably not a good time for this, but I just realized her neck is... extremely long. Look at that! You could fit a second head between her head and her shoulders!

Grgewgjv o

G7jy5qyy oOh? It's you again...

Euilmzmc o......

G7jy5qyy oJudging by your face, it seems you've realized it. Everything I said was the truth.

Euilmzmc oExplain something to me. How exactly can she be a witch?

Pt0s8cch o

G7jy5qyy oPitiable fool...

Euilmzmc oAnswer my question.

G7jy5qyy oI have no reason to respond to the vulgar words of a man like yourself.

Lgjkwhcy oOh, okay. Just... throw wild accusations at a person and then make no effort to explain yourself. Yeah, that works.

G7jy5qyy oI will say only this: That woman, like her father, is a filthy apostate.

Euilmzmc o(...Her father?)

Npk1fwkj o

Can this please, please not be terrible!?

Wait... who the hell is Burroughs?

Rokmfw3v o

Eog0zxel o

Ah, there he is. I like his design.

Kb5y8iga o

Glgmh2q9 o

Jnyzls3c oThe heck was that for? You scared the living daylights out of me!

Stqgibtb oI got tired of waiting for you. C'mon, let's go get a drink.

Jnyzls3c oI can't. Bianca's already making dinner back at the house.

Fz4wsvms o

Lgjkwhcy o This guy's gonna be a piece of work, isn't he?

Jnyzls3c o......

Stqgibtb o...Sorry, that was out of line.

H3t4mayj oMr. Klamp... If that's all, I think I'll be off for today.

Jnyzls3c oYeah, see you. Good work today.

Zxnjvzfa o

Stqgibtb oWho's he?

Jnyzls3c oA coworker.

Stqgibtb oHuh...

Naa4pqtz o

Stqgibtb oIf you don't stop babyin' her, she's gonna wind up messed up, y'know? Can't go through life countin' on her cute face to take care of her...

Vpsrgsio o

9qk5ifz8 o Ahahahah... Perfect introduction to these characters, I'd say.

Jnyzls3c oNah, that's the thing!

Stqgibtb oEh?

Jnyzls3c oBianca... She's pretty, she's smart, she's cheerful, she's... uh... (Hic!)

Stqgibtb o(Not this again...)

Jnyzls3c oTha'sss why I'm worried 'bout her, y'know? I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if she wound up married to some no-good sleazeball...

Mgwr8w80 o

Stqgibtb oMe?!

Jnyzls3c oOur dad... Boy, what a loser he was... He was never around, so I had to be the man of the house... And I'm the only one who can do it right, you got that!?

Stqgibtb oYeah, yeah, I got it...

Jnyzls3c oGood! ......

Jnyzls3c o...(Hic!)

Y8ehlrs5 o

Lgjkwhcy oHe who is the only one who can do it right, ladies and gentlemen. Getting drunk off his ass.

Xhqpmjzv oYou sure? You've already had plenty.

Jnyzls3c oWhassat...? You got a lotta nerve talkin' back to your best customers...

Stqgibtb oHey now, relax...

L0yab2xr o

Oh hey, there's Ward in the background!

P8zyaula o

Stqgibtb oHey, Bianca.

5dudyczy oBurroughs! You know my brother is hopeless about his drinking! Why would you bring him to an awful place like this?!

Afswurzg o

9qk5ifz8 o Hahahahahah... It does seem to be a bit of a running gag, doesn't it?

5dudyczy oCome on, Klamp! We're going home!

Jnyzls3c o...Sure...

Stqgibtb o(I suppose she's not always as cheerful as you say, eh, Klamp?)

Kgvivqie o

She tries to pull him away from the bar.

Jnyzls3c o......

Jnyzls3c oHey, Burroughs...

Stqgibtb oYeah?

Jnyzls3c oYou might be no good... But you're good in my book.

8ped7g3f o

Jnyzls3c oBut no gettin' too friendly! No gettin' hitched or anythin', you got that?!

5dudyczy oI think I'm going to be sick...

Stqgibtb oI got it, Klamp. Just go home and get some sleep now, all right?

Jnyzls3c oYeah...

Stqgibtb oSorry about all this, Bianca.

5dudyczy oHonestly, do you ever do anything besides cause trouble? Why do you have to associate yourself with my brother? You should just leave him alone!

Uyigaowg o

9qk5ifz8 oPffft... Yeah, that's totally what you should be saying right now.

5dudyczy oDid you say something?

Stqgibtb oI said, you're a good sister, taking your brother home like this.

5dudyczy o...Right. Shouldn't you be going home, too?

Udmva8t0 oDa2gzhja o

Oki-dokie, you know the drill. We've got two secondary missions to choose from. Ancient Treasure is an interesting chapter, but we'll deal with the Visitor first. I mean, it'd be rude to just leave them waiting, no?

Xlybnann o

Meoilxpy oI was curious what could be so urgent that someone would seek me out even on a stormy night like this.

Qjeu6ugy oI apologize for the trouble... As you have surmised, Lord Reese, I have an urgent request of you. But first, let me introduce myself. I am Ellis, knight of Angul.

Meoilxpy oAngul... In the western Lowlands, if I'm not mistaken?

Qjeu6ugy oYes, you are correct, I was previously stationed at Fort Ziredd there. Although now that the Lowlands have fallen, the fort has been occupied by Imperial forces...

Meoilxpy oYes, the loss of the Lowlands has affected us all terribly... But well met, Dame Ellis. Please, tell me your story.

M1ydjwys o

Qjeu6ugy oSoon after, the Empire cut off our supply route, and we were isolated. Thanks to General Abus, we were able to hold out for three months. But with no relief from our allies in sight, the end was inevitable...

Xgyfomeg o

Ycqowhmi o

Vxqntpa3 oPlease, use this towel to dry your hair and clothes!

Qjeu6ugy oHm? Oh, no thank you. I'm all right.

Jy537o5l o

Qjeu6ugy o...Ah, forgive me.

9qk5ifz8 o Not sure what the point of that bit was, but eh. Some fluff's all right here and there.

X2sno4q0 o

Qjeu6ugy oI was able to live on... But not a day passes that I am not ashamed... But now, I think I can repay my debt to General Abus.

Meoilxpy oDo you mean... The general did not die in battle?

Qjeu6ugy oYes, he still lives. After fighting personally on the front lines to help us escape, he was taken captive by the Imperial Army. Now, he is being held in a prison camp called Calvaria.

Meoilxpy oA letter?!

Lgjkwhcy o Yes, Reese, a letter. It's really not that shocking, I mean, apparently you got a whole messenger through to Vester while he was in the middle of that fort crawling with Bornians.

Qjeu6ugy oHe asked me to plead with you to rescue him and his suffering companions from the camp.

Meoilxpy oDoes it say anything else?

Qjeu6ugy oIt seems that on the night of the next new moon, they will be moved to another camp. Calvaria is a natural fortress with many guards and lookouts. It is well-protected. However, the roads leading to it pass through a thick forest. He drew up this map for us, as well.

Meoilxpy oHe drew this in such detail, even though he was imprisoned...

O8iyryu0 o

Qjeu6ugy oYes... Please help me, Lord Reese! This may be the only chance we have to rescue General Abus!

Meoilxpy oOf course, I understand. General Ward and I will make due preparations and send a small team to rescue General Abus.

Qjeu6ugy oThank you so much, Lord Reese!

I'm guessing this is the famous camp?

Bbv67qc2 oTsk, tsk. Should you really be taking that tone with me? Who was it whom you begged with tearful eyes to let him rest in bed in the first place?

Qit4sktl o

Lgjkwhcy oThis isn't going to end well, is it...?

Bbv67qc2 oNow, on to the matter at hand. Yesterday evening, a group of men attempted to escape. Needless to say, they have been punished for their crimes. Those who do not obey the rules must face the consequences. However...

Bbv67qc2 o...Do it.

E7cceiah oKtzbc7ac o

Goodness gracious!

Nkdfseng o

6bs9lbij oStop it! You're killing him!

Bbv67qc2 o...Ah, my apologies. Allowing guests like yourselves to die is the last thing I want. And yet... Even though I allow soldiers like you to live, there are those who take advantage of my kindness. ...Like one who assisted the others in their attempt to escape.

Hbtho1yb o

9qk5ifz8 o Oh wow, that man's beard is magnificent. We must save him. We need all the beards we can get.

Bbv67qc2 oNow, I wonder... Who was it? Who would do such a thing? Who on earth could it have been?

6bs9lbij o...Yeah, it was me. It was me, all right?! So leave my brother out of it! He's got nothing to do with this!

Bbv67qc2 oAh, what a wonderful thing brotherly love is...

Qcvred5o o

Knfwgkln oTpf0w7vk o

Uedfz3v4 o Oh dear

6bs9lbij oNo...

Bbv67qc2 oDo you understand your position now, "Big Brother"?

8fyw9usu o I always go overboard with these faces...

Dfehasf0 oStop, Fyodor!

Bbv67qc2 oWhat hateful eyes you have... Fyodor, have you forgotten where it is you are? In this prison, I am king. I can do with you what I please. If you want to hate someone, hate your incompetent General Abus for letting this happen to you.

Uedfz3v4 o Well. This guy's sure made a solid case for himself.

Pg5hhmhg oKctnajin o

Bbv67qc2 oWhat does she care if they're here or there? Seems awfully unnecessary... Well, orders are orders... Start the preparations.

Suddenly, Derrick! I also recruited Faye, Kramer and Ruby.

No9unygr o

First off, following Brightbow's counsel, I buy a sapphire and craft the Rossweisse.

Tuj5vzdu o

I'm doing this entirely because you told me to, Brightbow. I'm going to hold you accountable every time Sylvis misses with this thing.

Bawpgrw6 o

Okay, Sylvis. The bow is yours. The name probably gives you good memories.

Fhc27gfu o

...Have Sherlock's thunder god arrows too. No biases here. None.

Fun9y2ap o

Arthur won't be coming next time, so Faye takes some of his gear.

Drxqz5bz o

I'll also use our repairstone to fix the cutlass. I could use it on the Gram, but...

T5tzgyq9 o

That thing needs more than a 4 use repairstone. Green is good, but that's just asking for the thing to break immediately, wasting the four uses.

Lkoxvtha o

There we go, wonderful.

Uf8cbx97 o

The amber we got earlier is a fortify ingredient. Keep it safe, Lumiere.

Znjdc942 o

Elbert picks up a bag. I like how half his inventory are half-broken shields.

Bgiixv2g oQreqstwk o

Ruby drinks this thing down. I hope it tastes good. Come to think about it, I'm not sure how literal energy in liquid form would taste like. At any rate, 27 HP is a bit better for a person who's going to take a couple of hits eventually.

Tlqxwop3 o

And... I might regret this, but Owen is going to give Enid his miracle charm. He mostly keeps to the rear and has holy for those situations where he cannot escape. Meanwhile, Enid needs to throw herself at enemies to level up, so... Yeah. Honestly, I'm just scared off my ass after William's mission.

Amqs7jn4 o91j21gll o

Well, at any rate, that's our next assignment. Abus, Fyodor and the other two green units that we saw in the background at the camp will be transfered to a different location. That's when we come in. Too late for Freyr, sadly, but perhaps we can save his brother, at least. We'll find out next time. See you then! Buh-byeeeee~!

Spoiler

Jeez, I use that as a joke line and trigger you? Boy, when was Sothis Mongolian?

1. She disappears near halfway map wise and in terms of months passed.

2. The idea that she was dead forever didn't seem to be the case, though I will agree that she should have been gone longer.

3. I mean, I do think a scene could have been made that could express Byleth waking up alone. But I'd rather do that with a rewritten Byleth thank you.

4. That S support was made to try and break me.

He will get arrested all right. Unless the RNG doesn't cooperate. Then he'll die.

Completely irrelevant that he got hit again.

And then he just got Percy'd in one turn.

Well, it's pretty good nonetheless. You probably know more geography than I do. I can defend myself when it comes to Europe, but ask me the American states and I'm just completely lost. I know California's to the west coast and New York and Washington are probably to the east? I think? Maybe? Also, Texas is in the south. But that's about it.

I could manage when it comes to Africa... but I think I can't visualize it without a map, I can do Europe without looking at a map, but with Africa I would fare better if I see a blank map of Africa with borders.

Let's see (without using a map), to the south of Spain is Morocco and to it's right there's Libya and then Tunisia, there/s two countries betwen it and Egypt then which is to the most north-west... let's just go all the way down because this isn't very good. Where South Africa is, a bit to it's right there's a coral reef looking country called Mozambique and I can't without a map...

I do need to practice more when it comes to other continents, the United States' states is a dumb thing to learn anyway, because I'm not learning the states of Italy either so why should I for the US? But yes California to the west, NY and Washington to the east and Texas to the south.

Central america is also confusing.

Well this is just awkward and I agree, how is Reese so dumb? Lynette must have fell for him because srpg romance.

Roy momento.

Barselwho? Oh wait no you mean the guy that asked for that girl to be captured with a net?

This is about the one art I don't like too much from Berwick, the hair looks weird, every other character looks good but in this case the hair seems to just be superimposed.

You know the drill, Erzie. I give you items, you give me money, the readers misspell your name.

I mean not that I don't know how to spell it.

I feel bad for Cecily now, but on Reese... yeah lol "love? how much does this cost? There's no price to the side..."

Oh, and the scene just ends there. Formidable. Well, let's watch Sherlock's little romance with Ophelia blossom.

This is not going to end well.

Lgjkwhcy oOh, okay. Just... throw wild accusations at a person and then make no effort to explain yourself. Yeah, that works.

Sounds exactly like what Monica did to Chaz, you'll know what I mean if you've been following the FEtuber drama.

By the way, on what chapter are you? Are you anywhere near the end of the game?

Oxm8ceei oHuh...?

Aww, isn't that sweet? One day, when they have kids, I hope they name their daughter Penny so her name can be Penny Lane.

G7jy5qyy oI will say only this: That woman, like her father, is a filthy apostate.

When I saw this event, I misread the preist as saying "That woman, like her father, has a filthy prostate" and I was deeply concerned.

Rbclvnd4 oYes, Sir Ward! Truly remarkable! For you see, Sergei crafted this work with his own daughter as the model... and it is said that his wife was a woman of Sinon! I expected no less of a fine man of the arts such as yourself, Sir Ward!

Hold up. I never saw this scene! Urgh! Kaga, how dare you and your RNG-based capture system ruin your dialogue?!

9qk5ifz8 o Not sure what the point of that bit was, but eh. Some fluff's all right here and there.

HOW DARE YOU QUESTION BERWICK FLORINA?! I'lL KiLl yOu!

Time for an Addendum because I missed some stuff!
