Years and years of training.

This reminds me. Marisa in one of her supports does mention sleeping with blades at her sides, as a way to train herself to not turn too much in her sleep. I guess... something similar could be at play here...?

NGL

It does feel pretty damn religious ritual like - especially after reading the lyrics.

Yet how is Great Britain still going on, kinks and all, if we sorta consider the beginning as the birth of the Kingdom of England in the 900's?

I mean, they're robots. They probably see the chaotic nature of a democracy and reject it out of principle. Because let's face it, Democracy is the game where EVERYONE must play nice and by the rules if it's to work.

Also, they simply stated Kingdom. Not necessarily a rejection of Democracy since they belong to two different axis. Maybe being robots, they can work it out better than humans...

When their "King" died, they copied it's Data over to a "Baby robot", expecting it to grow up...

Ofc that worked out well Ü

Fascinating.

Wait, they were also trying to mimic "aging"? By data was it just the technical stuff or also included the "memories"? Hmm, sounds like an interesting setting...

Did this have a time limit where you had to defeat Horus Man here before the missile goes kaboom! into something? -Because it should've.😎

It didn't have

However, the level itself kinda did have time limits to clear the missiles before they detach from each other...

Not that i needed any ground to stand on with Kirin just zapchaining over every enemy in the air 😛

But man

Playing non-FE games always makes me feel like FE should for once stop being so safe and do a non-medieval game. I really feel the setting is holding FE back quite a bit.

I also know that's an unpopular opinion to have

What are you talking about? Some games are more Renaissance/Modern (different from Contemporary, which is the era we're living right now) than Medieval.

We should've gotten that FE on Mars idea they once joked about.

"Can we have FE on Mars?"

"We have FE on Mars at home."

FE on Mars at home:

Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars - Game Boy Advance | VideoGameX

I mean, can it still be called Fire Emblem if that was the case?

TMS.

But yes, as always on this matter, I'm in agreement. Now tell me, should it go Laser > Solid > Plasma?

Maybe I should slot this into a playlog spot where an SRW would go.

Would Mars itself then be the fire emblem?

No. The Fire Emblem is the artificial molten core installed in the center of Mars (or rather, the activation/shutdown key needed to control that molten core), allowing the planet to emit a geomagnetic field that keeps solar radiation from destroying the man-made atmosphere.

It just so happens the villains want to end life on Mars, and since humanity has long abandoned domes and living underground, removing the atmosphere would do wonders towards achieving that goal.

You totally should. It plays exactly like a SRW game. I think I mentioned this before, but Winkysoft helped develop the game. As in, the same developers of Classicverse and early Masoukishin. So you won't have trouble adjusting.

---

As a side note, if you saw the video I posted... get used to it, since he also shows up in SRW GC. XD

I'm especially intrigued that they went with the British pronunciation for Gunvolt Zed.

...Idiot, what am I thinking? I need to finish Berwick Saga first! Mecha SRPG will otherwise distract me from that again.😆

Well i haven't played it in English either but yeah, the letter Z is pronounced differently in America. "Zee". Whereas the rest of the anglosphere, it's "Zed".

Unlike other Americanisms though, there isn't really a clear origin for this? Like usually it's "the British did it first and then we started doing it and they didn't like doing it anymore so they changed it" but the letter Z being pronounced different.....just is.
