Sephiroth is... very slow, haha. I've fought him alot of times already, obviously. He doesnt seem all that impressive to me, but that's from first glance so take it with a few grains of salt.

He's built around Supernova for everything I see, huge wind up and all.

First impression of Kirby's Robobot:

  • very creative as adorable level design like driving Waddle Dees and using a casino as stage
  • great soundtrack including themes from former parts
  • very many abilities like older rare ones like mirror and jet and complete new ones like poison
  • pretty long levels
  • controls of the robot aren't quite easy; fell multiple times in the pit since it's not possible to leave the robot anywhere

So far a fun Kirby game as expected.

It has been easier to get all goodies in my first attempt than it was the case in Return to Dreamland and Triple Deluxe.

Though I guess it's because I know now how the land lies. 😉

Have fun, @twilitfalchion!

And it's not even the same as the original. Xd

That animation takes like 3 minutes to go off, no joke, it's very painful to watch. The definition of a truly deadly attack, boring your opponent to their death!

Seriously speaking, he struggles against fast characters, which is never a good first sign.

That would be an amazing stall tactic in matches with FS.

It would be quite the interesting option, for sure. Probably better off without it though.

It's one of the worst ultimate "final boss" attacks I've had to ever sit through.

They could have done better, oh well. *shrugs*

Thanks.

First time I get to see snow for the season. Nice.

Good! I think you don’t like family trips, so try to get the best out of it!

Fun fact of the morning: throughout the entirety of my first play through (which I don’t think I finished) of Kirby Planet Robobot I thought the entire time the game was called Planet Robot. When my brain auto fills words, it can be difficult to combat.

You wouldn’t have seen a line like this if he were in Fates.....

Good job Hanneman, I like you even more now

Oh hey, it's my favorite Three Houses character. He has the only facial hair in the entire game that doesn't look like crap, Monocle and that awesome coat and suit get-up. It's honestly kinda unfair that they let him hog all the cool of the entire playable cast like that.

What about his character? :’)

I was referring to his character note of being a devoted scholar. If he were in Fates, he would have said some like “OH NO THE CRESTS OF THE ALLIANCE MIGHT BE HARDER TO FIND NOW THAT WE BEAT THEM!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!” 😛

He's the best. He comes across as an obsessive asshole at times, but he genuinely means well, and I quite respect how he researches crests not for personal gain, but to rid the world of their influence by making them more readily available to anyone who might require their power. Also, he can be quite humorous when he wants to be. He salvages that absolute wreck of a character that is Manuela. That's awesome.

But I think he's at his best with Lysithea, to be honest. His supports with her get a lot of mileage out of both his flaws and his positive traits. Lysithea is also at her least unlikeable in that support, which is nice too. Their ending is so wholesome. He ends up saving her from her impending doom, and with her newfound time, she becomes his apprentice. A really nice ending that actually makes sense, unlike Claude and Byleth who are like "hey Lysithea, I am now going to save you. What do you mean, I've no idea how crests work? I don't need to! I have protagonist plot powers!".

...God, I hate Byleth and Claude. But that's neither here nor there - this is supposed to be a positive Three Houses post! That's rare enough, coming from me, so let's not spoil it.

Soooooo yeah. Hanneman good. Hanneman underrated. Hanneman best Three Houses character.

Wow it’s almost like fates and 3H are different stories that aren’t comparable. Also how would you know that. Hanneman is a 3H character not a fates character. I hate this garbage mentality that fates and awakening characters are nothing but one note gimmicks cause they aren’t and if you actually took the time to read their supports you would know that.

Actually I thought it's called Planet Robotbot before I stared to play this game.

Anyways world 4 is completed, so I guess about halfway done in main story.

My opinion is unchanged, I really enjoy this game so far.

Also I love the different sections like 2D shooter (like Landia in Return to Dreamland) or racing part.

Btw Epic Yarn just has arrived.

Well excuse me for getting mad over someone blatently misrepresenting facts about things I care about.

Indeed. Excuse you for going after someone for interpreting something differently than you do.

It’s not a different interpretation if it’s blatently false

It's a matter of interpretation when discussing creative media.

The supports exist. That much is true. But how someone experiences them and what they think of them can vary widely.

There's not a thing you can do to change that.

It’s just a little joke based off of that mentality.

This is true but(there’s a but) to say “all fates characters are one dimensional gimmicks” as a blanket statement for the entire cast of the game then it becomes blatently false if he had only meant to refer one or two characters fair enough but the entire cast? No especially when characters like Xander, Takumi, Beruka, and Oboro exist. By the common definition of one-dimensional those characters are not one dimensional that is a fact as these characters do have nuance to them. This is exactly what I mean when I say you always hide behind the opinion card if you excuse me for being blunt. You are doing nothing but deflecting my argument. You aren’t arguing. You’re deflecting.

I thought he was a boring character at first, because he comes across as just a scholar, but then I saw his Dorothea and Edelgard supports. Fantastic.

Now the real unpopular opinion: Manuela is a good character. See Edelgard support.

Why is every Edelgard support good?
