Alright, it’s time for the final map.

I hope Gotoh is strong enough to obliterate it. That would be nice.

Gotoh is the Athos of FE1, from what I understand. You should be good there.

The lack of ability to determine where your units start is really annoying for this map in particular. My units are not at all evenly distributed.

I have no idea how I can even progress...

Pain.

FE3 endgame was like that. That's why I had most of my units die.

I dunno if the same goes for FE1 AI, but FE3 AI can be really, really funny. In my run of Book 1 Endgame, for example, I had Linde trade all her inventory to Wolf so she wouldn't kill anyone on a counter attack when the two of them got put in the top-left room, and the sniper just ran up to her and stopped dead in his tracks, and the hero behind him, so the dragon couldn't obliterate her. It's... not the best strategy, but it's funny.

Where your units are deployed isn’t left up to player choice, so the units my warper could take to the final boss room full of powerful enemies are...

One of two unpromoted pegs or a bishop.

Isn't resetting until you put the warper in the right room an option? From the sounds of it, it'd be easier...

Resetting doesn’t change where they’re deployed.

I'm pretty cure you can move deployment order by removing people from the roster, then adding them in again in different orders.

Deployment order on this link.

Wait, are there prep screens with deployment slots?

Funny joke.

Huh, I thought I tried that. Oh well, I’m pretty far in this attempt so I’ll just keep on.

FE5 with QoL patches is no different than modern FE

I wouldn't say no different, but certainly it's the most understandable of Kaga's FE titles.

At least I think the SNES titles playable, more so than the NES games, unless you're able to stand the first two.

Oh, I thought fe4 and fe5 were the peak of Kaga jank. I was half right xD

SNES titles still hold up to this day imo, and i played FE5 before all QoL fancy fan stuff that makes playing it much more fun.

gameplay wise, not menu wise 😛

Also Berwick is peak Kaga, but as much Kaga as it is, it's usually fair haha

I mean, I played T776 with the Shaya patch. With crashing Heroes, vague dialogue and odd choices.

It was an experience. In America.

Oh god.

That patch was...something...

Especially the Menus haha

What i did was play with Menu patch + serenes script on the side on another window xD

It was definetly something as well, but for me clean menus are pretty important...
